Avatar f tn a and the symptoms went away. About a year ago she started complaining with stomach pain. We had tons of tests done and the only thing I was told was she had reflux. Well, the medicines did nothing. I started her on probiotics and about 6 weeks later she stopped complaining. I took her off the probiotics 6-8 weeks after they started working. She was fine for 4 months. Now the stomach pain is back with a vengeance leaving her nauseous and feeling weak.

353766 tn?1258823732 My boyfriend of 3 years started complaining of pain in his left testicle yesterday. The pain worsens when he moves his bowels. He also thinks there is some discoloration of the skin. Upon inspection he noticed a small lump. He has been complaining of back pain, which may be unrelated. Has anyone experienced theses symptoms and been diagnosed?

Avatar m tn I have a hypothesis, that PATM could be caused by mental disorder. I don't mean mental disorder as in being a crazy person with psychosis. Rather, do any of you have symptoms such as anxiety/panic disorders, chronic subthreshold depression/ recurrent depressive episodes, or and/or hypomania. Remember, the brain controls all other organs such as the digestive and nervous system. Hence any abnormalities in the brain could cause the other systems of the body to malfunction.
Avatar f tn Ok, so my 12 year old child is complaining about chest pain and rapid heart beat. She is also having shortness of breath (not a lot though). It comes and goes. She says that the pain isn't that bad, but it feels uncomfortable. Her stomach is also feeling weird and I'm guessing its stomach acid or something. The discomfort is located under her left breast and feels weird. We are both worried...is it anemia? Lack of oxygen in blood or what? Help.
Avatar m tn I have read many posts on this site of similiar situations, however he differs in his adamant denial of the anxiety disorder. He will not take his meds, he will not go to therapy because he doesn't think it is in his head. He sleeps all day when he is not crying his eyes out. He can't work, he is falling behind on his bills. He has been to a mental health hospital twice for two weeks each time and basically that was because he said he would commit suicide if he has HIV.
Avatar f tn Narcolepsy is usually classed as a sleep disorder ... if you were to ask on that forum you will probably find someone who can talk to you about it.
