Common Questions and Answers about Complaining children

complaining

Avatar f tn t miss them at all. I have several friends who are also complaining about their bratty adult children. My son's fiancee isn't insulting, but I wouldn't say she is polite either: she never acknowledged my handmade gifts to her from Christmas. I had brain surgery 3 months ago and didn't receive a card or even a phone call. my husband (not their father) and I have decided not to leave them anything in our wills.
Avatar n tn My 7 yr old is complaining that his chest hurts, heart racing, dizziness and exhausted quickly. He has a Dr appt but I would like some sort of answer.
Avatar f tn LOL! Thanks Ladies! I keep trying to remember, it will be all worth it in the end! Lord, what we endure to bring our children into the world.
Avatar n tn My 10 year old daughter is always complaining of being cold. This summer she has been wearing heavy fleece pajamas. She used to love going swimming and now she will get in the water for a little bit ( I used to have trouble getting her out of the water ). When she gets out she is always freezing and saying she is cold. She is not as active as she was before and usually is laying on the couch covered up with a heavy blanket or two. Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!

Avatar n tn My 5 year old has been complaining of pain, the very top of his leg near his genitals. He is limping and complaining for about 2 days. I thought he might have pulled a muscle, but after a few days, i am a little concerned. What could this be? And should I see a pediatrician?
Avatar f tn So since I found out I was pregnant I've been looking on craigslist and eBay to help me find used baby things to buy for the baby, we're on a budget but I want to be able to get my baby what he needs without depending on other people and ever since I started doing that my bf has been complaining.
202436 tn?1326474333 I posted this in the Maternal and Child Forum also. So last night DD6 was complaining that her butt hurt. So I checked to see if there was any irritation or anything, I wasn't prepared for what I saw. One tiny little pinworm around her anus. I brought in DH who looked and sure enough it was moving so I KNOW it's worms and based on the description i've read of pinworms it sounds JUST like it. I also checked DS5 and he has them too.
Avatar n tn My son had a gasping tic when he was 2 and did it when he was trying to speak, but it only lasted a few months. I have heard of children developing temporary tics like this. How long should I wait to have her seen by a Dr.? Let me add that she is thrilled to be back in school, she's a straight A student and is very happy. She doesn't seem to be stressed out at all.
Avatar n tn It is common for children to complain about their hearts; having said that, you should probably call her pediatric cardiologist and let him know about this concern. More than likely she is having premature beats and the hard 'thump' she feels is what she is calling pain. She is probably just fine but make the call anyway.
Avatar m tn It can be difficult deciphering how children react to different thing and he could be making it up. But if hes complaining during the night, I'd wonder why he would make that part up? Maybe get a cheap memory foam topper for his bed, see if it has an impact on his movement. Try and cut down his fluid intake, just so you can eliminate any possible theories.
Avatar n tn t sound as lactose intolerance. Viral diarrhea (Rotavirus) is common in children younger than 5 years, and some immunity develops after that, so it would be unusual to have 4 consecutive bouts of diarrhea from the virus. What is the color and consistence of his stool? How many times a day? He is complaining (or you suspect) about school problems? Any abdominal pain, if yes, where exactly?
Avatar f tn Children are extremely hard to evaluate and many children can use visual symptoms for secondary gains such as attention. In many people vision can change momentarily on changing positions. Since it lasted only seconds that usually is not serious and can be "orthostatic hypotension" (if you can to read about it). If complaints continue you can take her to Eye MD ophthalmologist who specializes in pediatrics. The eye MD has more training, skill, experience than optometrist.
8987997 tn?1413288175 I basically wanted to hear your views and experiences on this, did you go back to normal? How many children have you got? Did you have stitches? And finally how was your sex life a year down the line?
Avatar m tn my two year old son has started peeing down the heat vents. I went on line and found several sites where other parents were complaining about the very same thing. It's interesting to see though that most of them are boys, and most of them are 4 turning 5. Something about that age group...kind of odd isn't it? The girls that were doing it were in the 3-4 year old group. Most parents claimed the boys were peeing down heat vents, cold air returns, and in/on toys.
907998 tn?1242573952 com/health/encopresis/DS00885 I took my son (5 years old) to see a Pediatric Gastroenterologist when he was complaining that he was afraid to go to the bathroom; he was diagnosed with encopresis, which is relatively common in children over the age of 4. The GI specialist said that a healthy bm for a young child would make an "S shape" and be the consistency of "oatmeal".
Avatar m tn It may be growing pains many children get them at all ages, make sure he gets some gentle exercises, did the doctor give him meds for the pain ?
Avatar f tn Found out he was cheating on me the whole time he was complaining about me not sleeping with him. He's gone, I'm better off, living the stress free life!! Happy and single!!!!
