combivent without a prescription

Dear All, My son is three years old, sometimes he has a constant cough and I use for him 1ml combivent and 1ml pulmicort in the nublizer, these days combivent is out of stock, can i use pulmicort alone and what is the recommended dosage. Please advise.

Is there a significant difference between using an albuterol inhaler as opposed to a Combivent inhaler? I have a family member that receives an extra monthly Combivent inhaler but am not sure if it is safe to use long term instead of the albuterol I was prescribed.

Advair and Spiriva is a common combination of meds for COPD patients. However, you should also have a rescue inhlaer containing some form of albuterol. Combivent is another option used by many COPD patients. It contains albuterol and ipatropium. Combivent may be off the market in the US though as the EPA has banned the use of CFC's propelants in inhalers. I don't think they were able to reformulate this medication to fit these new laws.

I am using combivent(4x a day ) and serevent diskus 50mcg 2x for my moderate severe copd, I have just started Flovent 50mcg inhaler. Is this OK or should I cutdown on the combivent ?

I have been using Combivent for about a month together with Asmanex to treat my cough-variant asthma and have had pretty good results. However, the first inhalation of Combivent always triggers a major coughing spell (sometimes it's so severe I almost vomit or my ribs hurt). Are there other bronchodilators that might be easier to inhale and still be effective? Or would using a nebulizer help? I've heard there can be adverse side effects with a nebulizer.

Does anyone know if an inhaler ( I use combivent) can aggravte PACS and PVCS? I had breakfast this morning and then used my inhalers and my heart started doing some weird pvcs and pacs anyone else ever have this happen?

Hi , I'm not well versed with any answers but wanted to welcome you to the community and also mention that I think the Combivent needs to be used on a longer-term basis if I'm not mistaken .. I'm a mom to two asthmatic children and it takes awhile for that type of inhaler to work with the long-term steriodal properties. Sometimes it's a hit or miss of a combo of meds to get the best ones to work for your EIA from what I've seen, too, but I'm not a doctor.

To my knowledge there is no legitimate source for obtaining T3 in the US without a prescription. If I may ask, why are you interested in T3 only. Also, are you not able to get a script from your doctor?

25 MG/3ML IN NEBU 2X a day before Advair, Singular 10 MG PO TABS, Advair Diskus 500-50 MCG/Dose in AEPB 2X a day, Qvar 80 MCG/ACT IN AERS 2 puffs 2X a day for my severe asthma and I do get relief from the Combivent only to have the chest heaviness come back hours later. So if it were from tight muscles in my chest wouldn’t the Combivent not work because is affecting the lungs and not the muscles?

By giving one med before the other the optimal medicinal performance is obtained with a minimum of medication. There is a difference of opinion regarding this issue. My brain is foggy, but that is how it was explained to me a long time ago by a very knowledgable R.N. Ocassionally there are side effects, and mixing the drugs does not hold well for figuring out the problem.

You really have to ask your pediatrician about this, and, as suggested, try an alternative treatment plan. Your concerns are justified. There are side effects, but on balance they are not serious in relation to the benefit. On the other hand, asthmatic attacks develop suddenly and without medications can be fatal. So it isn't reasonable to stop them without careful consultation with a pulmonary specfalist.

I had a hard time posting within the word limits and forgot to note that I can't take Combivent either, for some reason I become very short of breath after a few doses. I'm doing fine now with no Spiriva or NAC and having only minor, sporadic congestion. What do you take instead of medications? I'm having a very hard time tolerating anything anymore.
