Common Questions and Answers about Colon problems tear

colon

Avatar f tn That is one of the possible problems that can happen from a colonoscopy if a tiny tear of the colon happened during a byopsy. I don't know if this is what happened but it could be what you are describing. Yes I hear very painful when the body fills up with gas. It can heal on its own or may need to be stitched. They hospital should know how to deal with that as it does happen time to time. If small enough I would guess it should be able to heal on it's own. But painful yes I have read.
Avatar f tn ve had both, bright red when I have had an anul fissure tear it stays bright red because it comes right out so to speak. And when I had my ascending colon removed I had dark brown blood it was almost black because it had sort of like coagulated. Either way if you are not having bowel movements and getting nausea you really need to seek medical attention right away. I hope it nothing serious, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Avatar f tn Hi I'm 21 and have polyasytic ovaries and when I'm on my period and I have a BM or when I'm just gassy it hurts extremely bad in my colon like a knife is being twisted around. My endometrium increases to 8mm thick when I'm menstrating. Also it is very difficult to put a tampon in I have to push under and around a wall. If u have any information it would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar m tn I'm having pain down the right side of my body in what seems like the whole of the ascending colon. It's hard to explain, there's also a pulse like pain that starts around my hip bone or the end of the ascending colon that travels up the ascending colon. I'm very uncomfortable after a meal and I can feel a little relief after I been to the toilet.

Avatar n tn Does these tests at least rule out advanced colon cancer? Would these tests have shown colon cancer or at least something to some extent to warrant further testing? 8. does the symptoms point to colon cancer? With the blood now gone. 9. I feel like there is something just inside my rectum, is that a sign of colon cancer or possibly a internal hemmorroids? 10. How common is colon cancer/rectal cancer in someone my age without the family history?
Avatar n tn You have had a coloscopy that is recent and your findings at that time were not such to raise the suspicions of colon cancer then or now with your doctor. Colon cancer is slow growing and that is why screenings are important because it allows it to be caught in treatable stages. The family history you have has already been taken into consideration. I would think a question for the doctor would be if the insurance company was not an issue, would they think you needed a colonoscopy right now?
Avatar n tn I have read that white whithout pressure assosiates with giant retinal tears,is this true? How common is white whithout pressure at the age group 20-30?I have a giant retinal tear due to trauma to my right eye and white whithout pressure both eyes.I am scared that I will have another giant retinal tear to my uninjured eye because of the white whithout pressure.please help!
Avatar n tn there could be loads of different reasons for the above and i am sure all treatable but i would think if u have not been a trip to your doc would be in order.
Avatar n tn I will say that you 100% should have the colonoscopy, especially if you have immediate family with colon cancer. If the colon cancer is distant, like great uncles, 2nd cousins, etc, your chances of having it are less likely. Keep us updated, but remember there are tons of other issues it could be. As for the raised alt, I had the same. Mildly elevated AST and ALT, and come to find out it was because I lifted heavy weights 5 days a week.
Avatar f tn I am 30 years old female and ever since i was a baby i had real bad constipation problems, they were so bad at time that my mother had to take me to the doctor to get the stool out with some special tools they had. All my life i've seen strides of bright red blood on my stool which was explain to me as normal due to my condition. It will get good at times usually with my three pregnancies i would not have any constipation for the entire pregnancies.

Avatar f tn Digested and undigested food that remains in your intestines, primarily, your large intestines for two weeks can be somewhat toxic to your intestinal lining. Companies that advertise colon washes do not inform you that your necessary electrolytes that regulates your heart rhythms can be washed away from chemical colon washes. The greater damage might be that your bowels are less hydrated on a daily basis, and the bowels can solidify and become hard to expell.
Avatar n tn When it cures me, I may request your help in spreading the word to others on this site with colon problems. After all, who wouldn't want to share a cure? :) Thanks for all the advice and help, I'll let you know how the detox program works!
