The City, Brooklyn,
Queens and Bronx combined is about 133,000 people living with HIV and around 2,500 for new HIV diagnosis per year. In Staten Island, again where I live, about 45 people get diagnosed each year, with it being one of the lowest even across New York State and of the people that are involved here, me, the girl, and my partner, we are all white and 17. HIV statistics state that 7 people in our age group with white skin were reported with an HIV diagnosis in 2010.
