Hi I have exactly the same pain in the same area . Stabbing just under my bum of my right leg at the back . I also suffer with stabbing pain in my knee and stiffness around the joint top of my leg all at different degrees and times . I have just had mri and I have arthritis (advanced for my age ) and hip displacia on the same hip . The nerve pains they say are not from my hip but from my back as they think it’s along the sciatic nerve .

m not sure if it has to do with a pinched nerve or something but it comes and goes it only lasts a few seconds but it happens between two and three times a day it will stop me in my tracks because it feels like someone is poking me from the inside out with the tip of a sharp knife or needle I need to know what this is... Like many people on this forum i have been suffering since April 2012 with severe bloating and pain under my right rib cage. The pain becomes more prominent and uncomfortable after i have eaten.I can only describe the feeling of bloatedness as sore,burning sensation like a balloon about to burst. The pain under my ribs however is as if someone is poking a sharp object into me?? At times it takes my breath away.......i feel it pretty much all of the time but more so after food intake.

You missed the vein and it is under the skin.. it will eventually go down and will absorb by your body so do not slam any more for a while.. Have you had any doctor do a skin test such as scraping the skin where you get bitten and look at it under the microscope? There is a whole conversation on this called aaaahhh Bugs if you scroll down and look for it. At the bottom of that particular question some people have found some solutions to it. You may want to read through the ones towards the bottom. There are hundreds of post I think on that question. Do you see any tracks or marks on the skin?

I am having the same thing... Like a sharp stab under my belly button, sometimes a pulling feeling down the right side. I did some Google research as well as talked to my sister who is a L&D nurse...in my case it is round ligament pain. It's basically just your growing belly. I can't explain it well, so I would suggest looking it up to see if your symptoms match.
