I have Multiple Myeloma (similar rare cancer) as part of my treatment I was taking Famvir to both prevent herpes outbreaks, and also shingles. He may be already on an anti viral, it's part of the cocktail of meds given in support of chemo.
I tried to quit smoking but only cut back. My Dr isn't concerned as long as I have cut back. We will be moving and won't be smoking at the new house so hope that works and my Dr sent a Rx for patches for me I'm going to try. Good luck I know the struggle. Just try to be firm n strong about it.
Hilar regions may be difficult to evaluate due to the complex anatomy in this region. Additional information from the lateral view of the chest x-ray as well as the symptoms present, may help with the evaluation. With regards to your x-ray result, the assessment of the radiologist is possible pneumonia. For proper diagnosis, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Forget the idea of Cardiac X Syndrome; with that there is an abnormal stress test and a normal angiogram; your stress test was normal. Could the drugs cause the problems? The fact that you improved after stopping the drugs would tend to make anyone think so. See your doctor and sort this mess out.
In the upper pole and in the mid pole, a large solid 42 x 14 x 22 mm mass present as well as a 7 mm mass in the lower pole. 9 x 5 mm solid mass and an 8 mm solid mass.
IMPRESSION: very large thyroid gland with bilateral extremity (I think they meant extreemly) large solid mass densities. With solid mass of this size, biopsy may be necessary to exclued any possibility of malignancy.

When your stomach is completely empty it makes things worse. Cold things helped me so I put all my fruit in the refrigerator & drank a lot of smoothies. Hope things get better for you.

I am sorry I cant help you but I just thought I would share with you because it struck me as odd being that you are both the same age, same sympthoms..... If doctors do find out whats wrong with her I will let you know she was rushed today by ambulance to the ER because of the pain today but she was sent home with pain meds.

Im 24weeks and 3 days pregnant and this week i havent been able to feel my baby move as much as she used to or as strong either. Hope this is normal as with my 1st pregnancy i was told that they expect the baby to do a certain amount of movements per day and im lucky to feel 7-10 movements in a full day.
Coughing that is dry but sometimes brings up phlegm, chills, horrible body aches, NO fever, and sinus pain that I can feel in my teeth. Earlier in the week what began as a cold or sinus problem progressed into body chills, aches and a general malaise and feeling of having the flu. However, as lousy as I feel I dont have even a slight fever, though the body aches make me feel like I have 103.
I got the H1N1 vaccine last April, 2010. Now its Jan 2011.
This is pregnancy number 3 and never had this before. I woke up with a cold right leg and it felt kind of numb. After a hour or so it went but now its back. Its like my leg is freezing inside.
Ive googled this and lots come up about restless leg syndrome come up but I dont have that.
