) my mom made all my cakes for my birthday and some of them were just plain and decorated with candy, or had money in it... but were so fun and its fun to do that for my daughter...well not the money part yet lol... my SIL said i should get her an icecream cake this year?! i was told to lose weight to help my symptoms, ive lost 2 stone over the last 5 months and am now at 9 stone, sure i'd like to lose another 1/2 stone but ive been told when you have pcos the problem isnt losing the weight but mainting it so aim for a weight that you fell you'd be able to stay at. i basically cut out foods like cakes, crisps and chocolate, stopped drinking fizzy pop and alcohol. i do 45 mins on my running machine, skip for 15 minutes and do 100 sit ups 6 days a week.

I have narcolepsy and am on meds to help keep me awake. I also have kidney stone trouble, and a double prolapsed heart murmur. I am allergic to shell fish too. I wanted to start a diet, try something new, to help address some of my ailments. Mostly I want to have a diet, or know which foods to eat, to cater to my narcolepsy. To relieve some of my tired, run down moments. Also, to cater to my kidneys, perhaps, to help keep them healthy and stone free.

Ok so yesterday was my birthday and my parents bought me a cookie cake ( my favorite) I come over to get my cake because I forgot it last night and my brothers gf ate almost my whole cake!! Brown rice is a core food, puffed rice cereal is a core food, plain rice cakes however, are not. Does anybody know why? The store brand of rice cakes that I buy is whole grain brown rice and nothing else...what's up with that? X O to all....

A friend of mine just got their home kitchen licence and is now making cakes from home - she started making some of friends kids birthday cakes and handing out cards at the parties and is now making all sorts of cakes for all forts of occasions (even just did her first wedding cake). I guess you have to like baking and be good at it (you can take cake decorating classes) she had got a website now and a sign on her car and flyers up at kindies etc.

So I want to do something for my daughter and my godson's first birthday! I hear of a saying that if you throw a party on a child's first birthday, you have to continue the tradition every year or else bad luck will follow me ooooohhhh LOL! I am not one for superstitions but I also do not ignore them LOL. What else can I do? I am so not willing to take two one year olds ANYWHERE! For a lot of reasons, besides the GI issues, I avoid all corn, so I use rice cakes instead of popcorn, and I am with SurgiMenopause about preferences. I prefer the rice cakes, too. I would think that rice and rice cakes would be better than popcorn all around, because the rice doesn't have that hard outer hull that popcorn has that can be an obvious issue for some GI issues. I like the puffed rice suggestion, too, although I still prefer the rice cakes.

With my daughter oranges was the only thing that helped my morning sickness, oranges, jaffa cakes, orange juice anything citrus!
