I have never heard the term "the gates " I think maybe you are talking about the receptors that have now been built.Your brain will heal with time but it is so true those receptors want there fix and it takes a long time for the urge to use goes .Even now with over 2 years clean I have my days that I crave .I have learned how to deal with my triggers without the drug at first it seemed so overwhelming but it can and does happen .

Gates is addressing the issue in a big way, World health leaders this week, ..I think he means adults aswell and considering the flu shot has made me sick each time I have tried it, I will not be having any vaccinations he suggests I don't care how much money he has it doesn't impress me,parents need to be in control not governments .

We have 5 gates in our brain when we flood them with drugs they will overflow so another gate gets made to handle the feel good endorphins the more we flood the more gates open to receive these feel good endorphins and let them pass to the brain. Then we take the drugs away but here are all these new gates that were opened with nothing filling them.

After having my son 2 years ago, the bilateral thigh pain portion has significantly worsened. Every time my entire legs hurt, they are always cold to touch. I also suffer from severe Restless Legs Syndrome. I wake up every night at 2-3 AM and am either restless or in pain, or both, staying awake for several hours sometimes unable to sleep. In mornings, I have associated heaviness and pulling tired sensations. I have fatigue, probably secondary to the insomnia.

The song they sang at the beginning of "The Cleaner" last night was awesome. The two lines that stand out the most to me was "Even the brave get scared" and "the moon doesn't shine without the help of the sun". I have to find out the title of the song and who wrote it.

Wat is the best way to get off this w/o detox($$). anything herbal or household help. all I hear is the back of my brain saying go get pills nothing at all tops these thoughts. help?
