I have a slight lump in that area as well (more than on the other hand). I play the piano for a living and it does not really seem to have affected my playing, but that is the reason I am concerned about this; otherwise I would not worry much about it. I have been busy playing the piano quite a lot since the tennis game.
What do you think is the problem with my wrist, and how can I fix it?
My surgery went very well each time. I actually did no professional PT and used alternating heat and ice, massage and playing the piano (I don't recommend that - just what I was comfortable with) I was back at work in 6 weeks. It was a little slow going at first but as the weeks went on of constantly using my hands and arms to do what I usually do (short of lifting anything heavy until cleared by my surgeon), I was fine. That was in 1988 and 1990.
During my piano practices, I probably turned my left wrist to far too quickly and tore some healing part in the wrist. And now every time I turn my left wrist to the far left (not just side to side but also when in the far left position and then moving up and down) there seems to be a pop/click (more of a pop though). There is absolutely NO PAIN, but it's very annoying as it interrupts the smooth progression when playing piano.
Is this an issue that I need to see a doctor for?
If you're chewing ice for the nausea and it works, good for you, though I'd try to get some crushed ice (chewing ice is bad for your teeth, it can crack the enamel). If you're chewing ice because you crave it, check your iron levels. Craving ice is a sign of anemia.
I love ice !!!! Never could I chew it before cause it always was so cold on my teeth......but now I feel like a drug addict......I'm addicted to chewing ice lol....I go to the kitchen get out the ice trays put ice in a baggie and use a meat tenderiser to smash it up....lol how rediculous I know but its literally something I crave badly right now.....weird!!!! And I heard a wife's tale of it meaning low iron but my iron is fine!!!!

I woke up this morning feeling fine, but as I was watching videos on my phone the sound changed. It sounds like almost robot like in my ears, distortion forsure and I'm freaking out. I play piano and all my music sounds off key! What the hell is happening? I'm 28 so its not hearing loss!? Please help.

I am 16 years old and in the beginning of December, I fell hard onto my left elbow while playing ice hockey. There was immediate pain and swelling which I iced, and tried to bear with. After about a month and a half, I went to the doctor because my elbow was still hurt and popping. He had me immobilize it for a month and when I came back a month later with no change, he told me a tore a ligament, resulting in ulnar nerve subluxation.
Your iron level might be low.
