cold

Avatar f tn I feel Gerd and milk allergy are grossly overdiagnosed in infants. Lactose overload has been diagnosed in breast-fed infants now - and I believe it is also found in babies.
Avatar m tn t know very well, and a few days later I developed a cold sore. I told my parents about this and they told me that I used to get cold sores when I was younger, but I haven't had one for as long as I can remember. Also, when this outbreak happened I didn't feel any of the symptoms, such as burning, itching, tingling, etc. I just had a cold sore on my bottom lip when I woke up one morning.
Avatar n tn s a baby, how will her immune system handle it and what would keep her from spreading the virus to her eyes, fingers or even genitals? Her hands are all over the place...in her mouth and rubbing her eyes.
1361044 tn?1277598308 Honestly, in my opinion, babies are so wrapped up in this new world, all the new things going in for them, that a little cold (virus) hardly slows them down. it could be your baby is behind because she doesn't feel well all the time, and THAT is holding her back. Maybe not, but in either case I would push for them to figure it out. Chalking it all down to a virus is a lazy, sorry excuse. My point is, YOU DO know your child more than anyone.
1302779 tn?1287405029 This can often result in one having cold hands, or just being cold in general. Many people attribute things to just getting older when it's actually their thyroid causing the problem. Age can cause these symptoms but it wouldn't hurt to rule out any thyroid issues. My kids make fun of me for my knee socks because my feet are always cold, and I'm older than you. I always wondered when I was younger why older women always had a sweater on when it was warm outside......now I know.
Avatar f tn My hands always feel cold after i take allergy medication. Does this happen to anyone else? And why does it do that?
Avatar f tn Please be extremely careful! Newborns and infants can actually die from cold sores if they get infected! Look it up, it doesn't happen very often since we now know to take precautions, washing hands, wearing a mask, etc.
Avatar f tn Ever since I got pregnant my hands have been really cold I know it's cold outside but i'v never had this problem before.
Avatar n tn I copied this form a web site Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common viral disease of the lungs. It usually manifest itself as a cold in adults and older children, but can cause serious problems in infants. RSV can cause lower respitory infections, breathing problems, pneumonia or even death. According to statistics, over 125,000 infants are hospitalized annually with Respiratory Syncytial Virus, resulting in more than 500 deaths.
1007423 tn?1251204456 Yes, I have tingling in my hands (mostly right side) all the time. Weirdly, I get a tingling in my hands when I breathe deeply, too. I also notice notice that they are kind of numb now (before way more numb). Another odd thing is that I will drop things and never had any idea that I wasn't holding it well. Several times, I would retrieve what I dropped on the floor, drop again, and may even drop it again. Does this ever happen to you? MS is so odd.

Avatar m tn I guess I read somewhere that people get it as infants and children when and adult kisses them OR when someone has it on his hands. So that confused me and I've been obsessed ever since.
1194973 tn?1385503904 I have a wellness pack with differentn things in it, It says children on it but is for babies also and the dosage for infants is on the bottle. 1523981 tn?1311318595 My son is 14 weeks and has developed a nasty cough and stuffy nose, I thought it was just a cold, but I have not caught it and he has not been in close contact with anyone who is or was sick recently. He felt warm and was fussing like he was in pain gave a little infants tylenol. Checked his temp rectally an hour later and his temp was 100.1. The tylenol should of kicked in by now. How often should I check his temp to see if its going down or up?
Avatar n tn Watch their chest and neck muscles. If they are using those muscles to breathe, get them to a hospital ASAP. The muscles retract showing the underliing structure. Really, if you are in doubt, don't risk it. Go ahead and have them checked out.
Avatar f tn I have a six month old son who was born with tremors in his hands. They only appear when he is excited or scared, his symptoms are similar to those of "enhanced" physiological tremor. Is it possible to outgrow a condition like this?
217599 tn?1202850952 babies are much stronger than we would like to think at times.shes in good hands w\people who do this w\infants alot more than you think. no matter what we do when it comes to withdrawl theres gonna be disscomfort.they do not use sub 4 infants. Infact if you get pregnant on sub here in N.Y. they switch you 2 methadone.clinical trials have NOT been approved on infants so theres no way 2 tests its safety with babies.
Avatar f tn t lift anything, the doctor said carpal tunnel is VERY common in pregnancy. If it gets painful, try using ice/cold packs or getting a brace from a pharmacy store.
Avatar n tn I am writing this for my sister. In the winter she gets extremely cold hands and feet and her fingernails turn purple. She is not normally that cold to touch, as much as she feels cold herself. It actually causes pain. It leaves in the summer but in the winter its pretty bad, socks doesn't help, etc. She is only 21, so I was just wondering everyones take on it. She hasn't went to the doc yet...
20906441 tn?1614530774 t really give me a concrete answer, could it be due to experience before I got sugar and my hands got almost frost bitten in my younger years. I am 67 now and thinking about moving to a year round warmer climate.
709686 tn?1277432159 I think 20mg is the standard dose, to be taken between 1/2 hour and one hour of your major meal of the day. Because of an extreme problem with acid reflux I took as much as 80mg daily for a short amount of time before surgery, but I took 20mg daily for perhaps twenty years with no known side affects. I think if I were you, I'd check with your doctor about the symtom of cold hands after eating sugar, and do so at once, it sounds like a diabetic issue.
Avatar f tn My feet and hands are always freezing cold and my feet although they are cold, they sweat . I'm always under blankets about three and I have socks on. Do any other pregnant mom's feel like this?
