cold hands gaming

Ever since I got pregnant my hands have been really cold I know it's cold outside but i'v never had this problem before.

My hands always feel cold after i take allergy medication. Does this happen to anyone else? And why does it do that?

This can often result in one having cold hands, or just being cold in general. Many people attribute things to just getting older when it's actually their thyroid causing the problem. Age can cause these symptoms but it wouldn't hurt to rule out any thyroid issues. My kids make fun of me for my knee socks because my feet are always cold, and I'm older than you. I always wondered when I was younger why older women always had a sweater on when it was warm outside......now I know.

Would it be possible to have a gaming community set up, in where you can talk about anything related to gaming? I was just wondering, if that can't be set up, maybe have a tracker on how many hours a day you play video games. Thanks!

Yes I was haveing daily panic attacks thinking I was going to have a seizure, As you may or may not know though, I was told by Dr that people who experience siezures have no clue when one is coming besides a few lucky ones that experience Auras. I rode the panic out by just telling myself whatever happens im just going to sit right here & ride it out, So do your worst panic. That seemed to work for me a lot.

Oh boy. The thing is, gaming is as much an addiction as anything else but people kind of poo poo it because they think it is harmless. What you describe isn't harmless. I'm glad he is still going to work and I guess he goes to bed at some point, but it is a bit over the top. It looks like addiction to me when it has begun to rule his homelife the way it has.

It's really variable. They definitely like to game but there are different genre's of gaming. Being able to talk about gaming is important with kids. And my teens do online board games too since covid like catan . . . everyone stays at their own house, wears headphones and plays on their pc. Some kids are into sports. Some are into theatre.

My feet and hands are always freezing cold and my feet although they are cold, they sweat . I'm always under blankets about three and I have socks on. Do any other pregnant mom's feel like this?

I think 20mg is the standard dose, to be taken between 1/2 hour and one hour of your major meal of the day. I am writing this for my sister. In the winter she gets extremely cold hands and feet and her fingernails turn purple. She is not normally that cold to touch, as much as she feels cold herself. It actually causes pain. It leaves in the summer but in the winter its pretty bad, socks doesn't help, etc. She is only 21, so I was just wondering everyones take on it. She hasn't went to the doc yet...

When my hands are exposed to the cold they turn red and become swollen, sore and itchy. It's very much like an allergic reaction. In fact, the first time this happened I thought it was a reaction to some soap I had used. I was outside without gloves in 34 degree weather this morning for about 20 minutes. Whenever I get cold my hands start itching really bad. It only happens to my hands though. I never get it on any other body part and I do not encounter swelling or hives. Is this just a mild case of Cold urticaria or something else?

Even if he works and pays bills he needs to help, it takes 2 to tango, go out and leave him with the kids, even if he ends up ordering pizza its not like they eat that every day, daddy will have to wash hands and faces, plus kids will be after him all day, and if he gets mad just tell him you are going out again next week and to get used to it, you need a break girl!

ok, it sounds like your hands get chaped from the cold weather. put some warm cloves on or buy some of those packs of hand warmers. then your hands will stay warm and wont turn red. the heat is from your blood circulation warming your hands back up from the cold weather.

Do you know that gaming can become like an addiction? That it is a way of avoiding feeling or doing things. It's very unhealthy and I'd be concerned about this. 11 year olds get lost in a game, grown men don't. I'd get rid of your gaming system. I'd sell it. Because it is a barrier to to true intimacy. And making your conversations about gaming with someone that is out of control with it is like drinking with an alcoholic.

Good afternoon... well, I'm really not "with it" today since the day is almost over!! How is everyone doing this week? It's cold, damp and dreary here today and I haven't been able to wake up and get with the program. Other than being cold, damp and dreary, I'm going okay. I had thyroid blood work done on Friday and as I suspected my levels are off.

I've done it and it was pretty dull. Then again, it WAS something to do when I was ansy and bored. It helps if you actually know the people in the group, then it can be a lot more fun. What I found more distracting is I started up a "story-line" gaming style group at one point. This is something I used to do with friends back pre-internet when they had BBS's. It's essentially based on D&D type gaming, but free form and on-line in chat mode.
