Common Questions and Answers about Cold eeze kosher

cold

Avatar n tn and yet both my doctor and clinic are aware I have gained some 30kgs, have been treated for insomnia and depression. I am also constantly cold and my blood pressure is still high. I have taken a drastic step to move to Pressure Eeze (Herbal suppliment) with Magnesium and Potassium suppliments and am also now following a strict pressure friendly diet. I only started this today!!! how long with it take to gain a normal heart rate back?
425199 tn?1313068997 t it follow that foods that are certified kosher but have salt are using kosher salt? So, I could have the lightly salted Matzos as opposed to the unsalted ones? And I could have the salted kosher margarine (dairy free) as opposed to the unsalted one (which, of course, my supermarket is out of)? I was just wondering - I don't know if that's an LID question or if I should direct it to a kosher dietician, but I was just curious....
427555 tn?1267553158 I am about to start the LID for thr third time. In the past I have avoided salt 100%. Can anyone tell me if Kosher salt is iodine free? I have not seen that written on the box and didn't want to take a chance.

Avatar m tn Again, I'm assuming this is to improve absorption, as absorbing minerals is slow and for fighting a virus it needs to be quick. But that's a lot of zinc for two months. I'd do some homework on this. Zinc helps do two things that most doctors don't usually know -- boosts the immune system so things heal more quickly (often used in veterinary medicine) and to fight viruses. But it would seem, if you're concerned about the taste, there are lots of alternatives.
665587 tn?1265946924 In doing research for my RAI and hypo-he// the first time around, I came accross a website that talked about Kosher certified foods. It stated that nothing that hadn't been blessed by a Rabbi or "certified Kosher" could be considered a kosher food. In my research, which I'm sorry, I don't remember all of what it contained at this time, led me to Rice Krispies... which are kosher and blessd by a Rabbi.
Avatar f tn I'm not sure it helps, but if a product is kosher, than the salt is not iodized. I read a TON of stuff when I was on LID, and finally came to the conclusion via rice krispies that when a product is labeled "Kosher", it's salt is iodine free and ok. You can not always assume anything, but after reading up on Kosher products, I felt comfortable with using them as far as salt is concerned. You still have to be careful with other ingredients listed in Kosher foods though.
850029 tn?1238857820 Hi.. you can try a homemade saline solution... approx 2tbs kosher salt, 1 tbs baking soda to one quart of tap water... This can be administered via a small squirt bottle, netti pot, or something like a Gossan hydro pulse (approx $100.00)..

8835615 tn?1410091411 The only time I know you can't have milk and meats is if you keep kosher, in which case you wouldn't eat shellfish anyway... There's no reason you can't eat them together though.
Avatar f tn Any salt that doesn't contain iodine, i.e. Kosher salt is good. Anything with milk products or that may have been exposed to milk should be avoided as iodine is used to clean the vats that hold the milk prior to distribution.
Avatar f tn I have had literally a handful of sexual partners - never had any problems. My last two relationships were 5 years and then 4 years. 4 months ago I started seeing a guy who had been a friend of mine, he too has had long term relationships and I know believes he had no form of an STD. Six weeks ago I went to the doctors and they diagnosed genital herpes, it was horrific - so painful. I was so shocked when they said it definitely appeared to be Herpes an took a swab...
Avatar f tn Lastly, you can usually mix more salt into peanut butter (high fat, I know). When adding salt, I prefer to use pickling, canning, or kosher salt. The table salt gives things a very odd taste when there's a lot of it. Of course, you still have to use some table salt to get enough iodine.
Avatar f tn Dill pickles, vinegar & salt chips, sweet tarts and orange juice. Now, I like to throw a little sweet into the mix too...loving some strawberry cheesecake. And I have to have a turkey and cheese sandwich before I go to bed and then another one for breakfast. My cravings are all over the place and not just sticking to one "ole wives tale" so I can guess what I'm having...
Avatar f tn I love caramel sauce on my ice cream sprinkled with kosher salt. Salted caramel is the best it hits the perfect balance of that salty sweet craving.
Avatar f tn I am exactly 15 weeks today! I can't get enough of kosher spear dill pickles and taco johns!
