Common Questions and Answers about Cold chest sensations

chest

Avatar n tn It sometimes feel like someone is holding a cold can of soda to the back/right side of my neck, or a localized sensation on my chest or shoulder, or like cold water is dripping down the back of my right leg. I automatically go to wipe it off, but nothing is there and my skin feels normal to the touch. It is happening more often and for longer period of time. I am not in any pain with it. I do not feel like I am anxious - other then feeling crazy for having these symptoms lol!

Avatar n tn I have burning, tingling, cold and numb sensations. The worse is werid head sensation, they really freak me out! They can be hot, cold sensations, tingling, numb but they weirdest one is when it comes on suddenly and I feel mega strange, like pressure, like my head is gonna pop. Scared out of my wits. I have been to A&E so many times, had X-rays, blood, tummy scan, sigmoidoscopy as had tummy problems too, MRI of the brain and neck, ecg, stool samples too.
Avatar f tn One minute it was hot, then cold and then suddenly like someone was stabbing me with needles. I also used to feel a cold/wet sensation like fluid was running down the inside of my chest, like a vessel had burst. When the stiffness starts to really wear off, mine was around 6 months, then all the wierd sensations stop. Everyone heals at a different rate, and being only 47 at the time I thought I would be back to normal in no time. It took 12 months for all pains to fully stop with me.

Avatar m tn I also remember a lot of strange sensations in my incision area which went on for over a year. The sensations were a big mixture, hot/cold/burning/pins and needles stabbing/pain/wet/itching etc. My surgeon explained that the nerves were mending and the brain has to learn to interpret the signals coming from them again.

Avatar m tn Hi, I have noticed for the last 6-7 years, whenever I catch a cold (mostly once a year during climate change from summer to monsoon) i get continous hiccups which lasts for 3 to 5 days. The frequency of hiccups during this period is one in every 5 to 8 seconds. In the initial years, i tried all kinds of home remedies for hiccup. I have not yet consulted a doctor for this. I am 45 years with good health.
Avatar f tn Friday night after taking cold meds, I started to feel woozy and flushed, dizzy like I was on a rocking ship, heart beating fast, felt these cold icy/hot sensations down each arm to about the forearm and across my chest. All symptoms came on at once in a flash. Hospital checked me out, all good. Of course every website tells me vertigo and hot/cold sensations means I have MS so I'm pretty freaked out. Went to doc Monday, tells me I have a terrible virus and bad sinus infection.
