Avatar f tn It sounds like you're having digestion problems. The most problematic of the foods you mention generally are first, the milk, second, the sugar, and third the coffee. But it's hard to say since diet is very complicated, and you don't say how soon after eating you laid down. Chamomile is a good stomach relaxant and anti-inflammatory, perhaps try some of that instead of the coffee, milk, and sugar and see how you do, assuming you don't need the coffee to stay awake.
Avatar f tn The newest study just published yesterday suggests that coffee not only benefits your likelyhood of beating this virus, it also decreases the risk of liver cancer and fibrosis. In the past the emphasis was caffeine was the determining factor but new research disproves this finding. Avatar f tn I have three children and one on the way. All of which I have drank caffinated beverages. My children are fine. They say it can be linked to ADHD, but my oldest has ADHD and my other two DON'T. So who can really say? I think in moderation you will be fine. Shoot, we inhale and consume worse things on a daily basis without even knowing it. Think about it, for year they said nuts were bad for cholesterol and now it has certain health benefits. There are many other products like that.

Avatar m tn by the way sugar and salts are just mental, i mean i dont use ny sugar and any salt, same my sister, after some weeks your own body balances and you feel the sugars and salts in the food now i am free not to use them and feel foods even more delicious especially coffee (well the bad quality coffee without sugar can be felt mmeditely and is disgusting but coffee with lil milk is ok and the sugar taste comes from milk)
Avatar f tn Hello, this is my first pregnancy .. I stopped drinking coffee when I found out I'm pregnant, but was wondering if drinking green tea is safe?
Avatar f tn I don't know the full answer to your question, but I do know there is supposed to be a food grade form. The kind you find in nurseries or in pet stores is the wrong grade. One pet store where I live sells it for people who have hens and it's meant to be for their dust baths. The plant nurseries sell it for insect control, and it works great for killing pests like fleas in the home. I do know there is a food grade form, but as far as how safe it is for health benefits, I'm unsure.

Avatar m tn Also cut out Caffeine, and eat plenty of veggies. Water is your friend and chicken bone broth does wonders. If you are a coffee drinker and it's difficult for you to quit then check out chicory root as a substitute. It actually has health benefits which you'll need in dealing with this problem. Probiotic yogurt is also a great addition. Make sure it's plain though. Hope this helps! There's more if you're interested, but this should give you a starting point.
Avatar m tn I'm a first timer. My appointment with my doctor isn't until next week. I've had a single cup of coffee for the past few days but now I'm worrying. There is so much conflicting information about caffeine and pregnancy. Thoughts?
Avatar f tn I read in a few places that ppl who drink a few cups of coffee a day do not experience such severe side effects.... AND that if they have been drinking it like forever that they don't seem to have as many "liver issues". As to the latter - baloney - HepC is HepC - ain't no coffee gonna stop that in its tracks. But during treatment? I thought that we had to say away from caffeine - coffee and cola.
