Avatar f tn Top 10 Dangers of the Coffee Enema The dangers associated with the coffee enema, green tea enema, coffee colonic (coffee or tea high enema), and coffee or tea suppository are as follows: Adding ingredients to the enema recipe (such as coffee, green tea, vinegar, baking soda, bath/epsom salt, or minerals) is not proven to do anything superior to the effects of plain saline. Inserting anything into the anus may result in anal tearing.
Avatar m tn In fact, steer clear of real tea (black, green or white) and coffee and any herbs that are known to be diuretics, because these will draw water away from the colon. You need water going into the colon if you're constipated. Especially when you have used your fiber the way you're supposed to. If you can tolerate a mild herbal tea that is NOT diuretic, that's fine, too. Plain hot water is actually good enough, though, over all and is just water, which we need anyway.
458072 tn?1291415186 I also do coffee enemas regularly...Non-decaf natural coffee and natural filter..I try to do this early in the day and feel a difference.
Avatar f tn Ice been constipated for years and just discovered and started doing water and coffee enemas about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I had a colonoscopy done around the same time, Enemas are the only relief I've gotten.
Avatar f tn Hello, I must ask why are you using the enemas? Did the doctor prescribe them because you have been constipated? You stated that you have used 8 of them already, is that in one day or over some time? It is possible your pain is from the frequent enemas but it is hard to say. Please give more info so that I may be able to answer your questions.
Avatar f tn Not the reactions, per se. . But the time it takes to overcome them and get on with things again..
Avatar f tn So i woke up today feeling normal when i suddenly had to use the restroom but when i got there i couldnt go i couldnt pee or poop (sorry tmi) and i still cant go and in a great deal of pain its unbearable. Ove tried stool sofeners, warm prune juice, coffee, eating foods with fiber and nothing is working! I need help on how i could fix this problem and soon!
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with Pelvic Floor Dysfunciton and slow transit. I am trying to do enemas every day but they don't seem to work very well. Once I put the enema in, I can't get the 'urge' to expel it... so it just sits in me. I can try to shove out all the water but it's never easy. Any way to get around this? Btw, I just use salt water - could this be the reason? I'd rather not use anything that might irritate my colon.
Avatar m tn I encourage anyone with this condition to look at your diet and something called Candida (Google Candida test and you will find many online question tests you can take, including a 'saliva test' to indicate if this might be the issue). BUT PLEASE NOTE - you do not have to buy the expensive products those sites are selling in order to reduce the candida yeast!
1763947 tn?1334055319 I think it helps reduce the ringing in my ears. I bought all the components to do coffee enemas, but my hubby and mom talked me out of doing them. Some Lymies insist they feel better after the enemas.
Avatar m tn Alcohol creates the odor instantly. Coffee, and sugar also make it happen pretty quick. I have tried cleanses, probiotics, food enzymes, L Glutamine, Green drinks, etc. Recently Ive been focusing on intestinal candida and I've been taking oregano oil followed by probiotics for a week now. About 6 months ago I got a colonoscopy and edoscopy done for pain in my lower left side of colon. He found lots of internal hemroids and cut out some benign polyps.
Avatar f tn oh and both the enemas and the stool softeners ate approved by my OB ...
Avatar f tn My most consistent problem is slight anal leakage (not formed stool but damp staining), and this has been constant. Enemas or having healthy/regular bowel movements do not seem to clear the problem. I've generally had this described by doctors as overflow constipation, and there have been periods in my life when this was a fair description, but it doesn't necessarily seem to work that way.
Avatar f tn I have b12 and d3 deficiency -chicken,turkey and fish. Oregano and thyme are good against candida. Detox,no stress and no processed food.
Avatar f tn The Baby Lax is almost a miracle ointment, but try enemas first and gently digging out, and after one day if you get no results, throw in the Baby Lax ointments. Drink plenty of water, eat the stuff I suggested, and exercise. And try to relax in between these efforts, really totally get your body in a meditative state. Drink a little coffee around the time you usually go, it might help things move along also.
Avatar n tn My first effort would be a series of coffee enemas. A series being 1-2 per day for as long as it takes to get the bile flowing again. Lots of vit C also. Look up CEs, glutathione, castor oil packs over liver, whole lemon olive oil drink, Hulda Clark Liver cleanse recipe.
Avatar m tn Gas, bloating, pain and constipation. Enemas worked for me, but laxatives did not. Any way, I went to my GI Doc on April 8th and was told I have a SLOW GUT. Which means my system is processing things too slowly. I had already started taking benefiber everyday in my coffee, that at least kept my stools soft. So the doctor says I am to take Miralax everyday until I regulate myself and then adjust it to where it works well for me. I also was told to take probiotics. I am taking culturelle.
Avatar m tn Defecation is easier if I put lubrication in my anal canal and take a hose and shoot some water inside for an enema. Coffee enemas were in the Merck Manual until 1972 and male gays do this all the time, so I regard all the precautions and "dangers" listed on various websites as a product of the sissy culture now spreading in the English speaking world.
Avatar m tn I know this is an old post but I wanted to add my thoughts just incase anyone else comes across this. I've had the same problem with Dr's misdiagnosing me so I don't have a solid name for what it is but I've found something that helps immensely! I have found that carbohydrates are definitely what causes the flare ups so I've gone down to no more than 30 carbs and I never experience flare ups if I stay under that.
Avatar f tn t been able to have a bowel movement on my own in almost 2weeks, i switched from my regular prenatals to the gummy ones to avoid the extra iron, drink water like a fish, have been eating fiber cookies and crackers 3x a day, take a stool softener morning and afternoon and been drinking juice daily. I have had two previous pregnancies and this was never an issue.
Avatar f tn I have been told that detoxing by doing a colon cleanse, full body cleanse and coffee enemas help remove toxins that block weight loss. I am going to try that along with healthier eating. The company BioImmune at BioImmune.com has a great detox that is easy and gentle and the only detox that crosses the blood/brain barrier.
Avatar f tn I was sorta constipated. But after 3 or so days I would go so I didnt take anything.
Avatar f tn We have been taking strong antibiotics for years and that has helped greatly. My mom though has been ver busy and stressed out that she has not been taking her antibiotics to keep her Lyme in check. She also has severe varicose vein issues. We found out that our ancestors also had trouble with there veins and we think it is genetic. We both have a restricting vein in our neck and legs.
396308 tn?1213373632 I do feel run down and that would be explained by an overgrowth of Candida but I am overweight and depressed and this can make you run down I think. I really don't know what to do.. learning to relax and be happy and being on the Candida diet dont go together and I need to know what the right thing to do is. I have quit uni twice cause of this and need to get it sorted really..
