Coffee enema side effects

Common Questions and Answers about Coffee enema side effects

coffee

I was just curious to see if any of you have already wrapped up your 12 weeks of Incivek. If so, did your side effects get any better? Since I have to treat 48 weeks I have been counting down the days until the Incivek is over and hoping that things will get a little easier once this part is over. Thanks!
a few days ago, but the side effects were awful. I felt really dull and spaced out. Couldn't concentrate AT ALL. I don't know what I'm going to do because I have to work and my job requires me to be sharp and also have stamina. However, I know withdrawals from the hydro will be MUCH worse. I can't even believe the place I've gotten myself into. I'm a single professional in my late 30's with no kids and have been successful in my career up to this point.
Can I take this during treaments? Also, will coffee enemas help or hurt? I have also been told not to take vitamin supplements. I feel so good with them. Please help.
Defecation is easier if I put lubrication in my anal canal and take a hose and shoot some water inside for an enema. Coffee enemas were in the Merck Manual until 1972 and male gays do this all the time, so I regard all the precautions and "dangers" listed on various websites as a product of the sissy culture now spreading in the English speaking world.
Try a peanut butter and banana sandwich, lots of water, prune juice and chia seeds in yogurt. If al else fails tell your doctor to prescribe you some stool softners. Good luck.
They have been study and have no side effects to pregnancy and work pretty good to get things moving. Good luck!
switched to a drug called toradol (also called keterolac) which is a high-grade Motrin product which does NOT cause constipation. Pretty serious potential side effects so they won't leave you on it for long, but even short-term helped immensely. hope things are better for you by now.
Hear a woman who claims she has been cancer free for more than 12 years by giving herself coffee enema daily before during and after chemo and loads of vitamins, especially C..a healthy liver is a healthy body so they say...
What medication were you taking? Are the side effects constipation? Too much fiber will bind you up as well. Try drinking 2-3 glasses of room temperature water as soon as you wake up and dont eat for 2 hours after. This starts getting the bowels moving. Do you ever have rectal pain when you are menstruating? Has this happened in the past or is this new? Have you been tested for intolerances to Lactose and Gluten?
I have had upper GI, Barium enema, colonoscopy, endoscopy, blood tests, CT scan. The enema results said diverticulosas, the colonoscopy said none. The endosopy showed a very mild case of gastritus. They can't find what is causing this pain. I have had several surgeries in the last 3 years, including removal of my gull bladder. I wonder if my pain couldn't be something with my pancrea. Sometimes the pain is very severe, and vicodon doesn't even touch it.
Okay. If you say something is "toxic" and mean that, gosh, it has a lot of side-effects and can cause harm or you say "toxic" and mean, literally, that it is a poison killing you, or, here is where you may be tripping up, "toxin" as in when introduced into the body, antibodies will be formed against it, then you have the problem of deciphering meaning and context.
I find my Eprex injection much worse than the Pegasus injection although they told me no side effects. i eat very little so it makes it tough but i'm still running to the bathroom or balled up in bed suffering in pain from constipation..its just a no win situation here.
roostermom, How about a little patience, it's the weekend and people are doing other things rather than hanging out on a hepc board ok? Incivek is associated with gastro problems. If you're having diarrhea, take some Imodium. If you mean your stools are hard like rabbit turds, get a Fleet Enema, clean yourself out and eat more fiber. Milk products such as high fat yogurt and ice cream may also to help loosen the bowels if you are experiencing constipation.
@cyn From Wiki (has citations) "Effects and dangers Coffee enemas can cause numerous side effects, including infections, sepsis (including campylobacter sepsis), severe electrolyte imbalance, colitis, polymicrobial enteric septicemia, proctocolitis, salmonella, brain abscess, and heart failure.[4][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13] If the coffee is inserted too quickly or is too hot, it could cause internal burning[14] or rectal perforation.

LOL I don't know about a coffee enema,,,,enema alone is a no no in my book but throwing in the coffee doesn't sound enticing either! Yes,,,Try to keep on top of the teeth situation because tx can really do some damage so taking extra precautions will help so you are not sitting in dentist office the for lots of visits after you are through treating!
Another Natural Product That Seems to be Good Curing Gout with no Side Effects GoutCure INGREDIENTS Yucca Schidegera Turmeric (Curcumin) Certified Silymarin Extract Artichoke Powder (Cynara Scolymus) Aged Garlic (Allium Sativum) AGED GARLIC (Allium Sativum) Studies have suggested that aged garlic extract and its active compounds may protect the liver from the toxicity of carbon tetrachloride.
I have this wonderful boceprevir stuff on my side, so I think it will work out in the end. Next year hopefully all of us will be able to get one of these new drugs and put this HCV in the past!
They finally put her on an adoptive T-cell therapy, which not only worked, but also had virtually no side effects that chemo had. My question is why couldn't they have started with the alternate option in the first place. She wasn't even told of other available options.
Later I was told that my colon is so spastic, that they couldnt reach where they needed to, and need to do a barium enema (oh no!) Was this a bad colonoscopy gone wrong, or should I believe my colon is so spastic, that it was impossible for the scope to get through near diaphragm? Today, that area is sore, and I feel very weak...and bloated.
Radiation injuries Among the many side effects of radiation treatment, hematuria (blood in the urine) may be treated with ozone therapy. However, there are no studies that show ozone therapy to be an effective treatment for hematuria. Skin inflammation Ozone therapy may relieve inflammation of the skin, though there is not enough evidence to support this use of ozone therapy. www.intelihealth.
It's really safe it has no side effects, and it can be used more than once a day. A doctor in germany recommended it for me so i found there but i really have no idea if it's available somewhere else.

I put off the colonoscopy, the pain seemed more like a muscle type pain and was tolerable. September 2011 the pain increased(right side), so I got my appt for the colonoscopy, did the prep as ordered, had the colonoscopy Oct 6th 2011. In recovery, the Dr said he couldn't get a good look at the very end because of little pieces of vegetable so to see him in 5 years. So, pain still there so I make appt with a gastroenterologist. That was the end of Oct 2011.
It's very dangerous to allow yourself to go so long without a bowel movement, and then take a harsh laxative to address the constipation. You risk some very terrible side effects, VERY severe cramping, even fainting. That's WAY too rough on the system. Also, you're risking impaction and all kinds of other issues that could land you in the hospital. Keep track, and make sure you are going at LEAST once every three days.
First, as far as medications are concerned, there are a number available, but the two first line treatments are Reglan (in the US) and Domperidone (everywhere else). Domperidone has fewer side effects than Reglan, but it's not sold in the US. If your doc will give you a prescription for it you can order it from a number of Canadian pharmacies. (I see from your profile you're from Virginia, so I'll pretend you're in the US.) PharmacyChecker.
I kept searching the web for help and came accross 2 products that I use and have helped me immensely without any side effects. The information is too large to list here but for anyone who is interested check out these websites. www.molocure.com (product is A.M.P.) which is great for diarrea and constipation and stomach problems. www.1to1vitamins.com (Cease Fire) wafers for stomach distress. These products work and there is a wealth of information on these 2 websites.
at least until I can get a surgery or treatment that isn't going to have a high risk of debilitating side-effects. As it stands right now, the only surgery option available to me has an 80% chance of leaving me with serious sexual disfunction/impotence (not that my sexual ability hasn't been negatively impacted already), incontinence, partial paralyzation/nerve damage, etc. I see having to be on opiates as like having to be on BP medication or similar.
Also with book reference, CQ-10 supplements with streneous exercise could actually cause damage to heart tissue according to the side effects of this supplement as I have read. Clear yourself first with your Cardio, then follow a rational exercise, relaxation and diet routine. This will help! Feel free to email alex_dolgonos***@**** Alex.
