Coffee enema and weight loss

Common Questions and Answers about Coffee enema and weight loss

It's the speed that causes the weight loss -- any speed will do that, including caffeine. I don't think either coffee or green tea is a strong diuretic, especially considering they're both mostly water in the form we take them in, and that in much of the world tea is drunk much more than plain water and the people aren't dehydrated. The question would be how much coffee you drink; generally, for weight loss, people take stronger doses of caffeine than what's found in coffee or tea.
I can say from experience, this enema or any colonic will not cause immediate weight loss, however, if you have trouble moving your bowels, this is great for release of plaque & feces, including flatter stomach(for the time being). It's not going to kill stored fat deposits though. As everybody knows. Good diet (fruits, veggies, water...etc) combined with cardio & moderate weight lifting will dramatically lean your body and make it feel amazing.
Doc says I'am borderline diabetic and need to lose weight. The drug was prescribed to help with the weight loss. However she stressed that you still need to watch your diet and exercise. I have been doing this for a long time but kept going up and down with my weight. I am 5 4" and currently weigh 235.5. I weigh in every Tuesday and after 4 days I lost 3 pounds. I am now starting to take the meds 2 xs a day so it will be interesting to see what happens next week.
I had a friend who was in her 50's and she agained alot of weight and fast . She too could not find the solution untill one dayI think it was her apendex acted up and she had to have it removed. When they went to remove it the doctors were surprised she had a huge sack full of fluid. They removed the equvelant of 2 large jugs of milk from her tomack. It turns out the ultrasound did not pick it up because it was fluid so it did not show.
Don't have a history of it in family, but keep feeling gassy all day and eat healthy and trying not to drink coffee.....which is my only vice. I have my colonoscopy scheduled for the 19th of December and doctor wants to run a tube down my esophagus to see what else is going on in there right after that; should I do that test before the colonoscopy? What else could it be and should I be doing anything else? I also had an abdominal ultrasound done last week and everything turned out normal.
I have tried nearly EVERYTHING and usually throw it all up anyway. Even an enema does nothing. I would LOVE to go to the hospital when I get like this just to be given morphine intravenously, or something to knock me out until it all passes. I just want the poison to come out...... out of my *** or my mouth, or both...I don't care which, I just want it OUT! I often throw up slick yellow bile, and in November, during my last attack, blood came out, too!
I spent almost the entire labor sitting on an exercise ball leaning forward so my weight was off my butt. The morphine and drugs definitely eased the labor contraction pain, but did nothing for the butt spasms. Not until the epidural- after 36 hours, that finally relieved the anal-spasm-shooting-jabbing-pain. Sorry to be so long-winded, but this is a relief to communicate this somehow. Has any one else experienced this during labor? Thank you for any answers/thoughts..
As soon as the cold weather came (Canada 0 to 25 below) the symptoms returned, with a vengeance. Allergy to cold. Not sure Lots of static over the body; headaches, loss of energy, and loss of sleep because it's impossible to fall asleep without 600 mg of Ibuprofen. Getting close to Jesus, for sure. I'm looking at Neuropathy, vit B12 and vit D. Please, please notify me if anyone makes a connection with allergy, cold weather and deficiencies. Stay tuned.
I think everything is over and I clean up. I walk out of the toilet and in about 2 minutes time the stomach cramp and the fainting sensation comes back (I've fainted only once to date from this and was out for about 15-20 minutes). 6. When I get back to the toilet I have a really violent Diarrhoea episode in pure liquid state.
Almost three years have passed and I don't know how people deal with such a loss. My heart goes out to all of you! Know that when we loose somone they no longer are in pain, no more needles, blood tests, pain, and suffering. They are at a better place. We will miss them every day!
pain as described was crippling me got to the stage i couldnt pick my head up off the pillow and loss of feeling in fingers and thumb. dr sent for xray of shoulders and neck within 3 days he told me it was cervical discs pinching nerves, arthritus etc but pain is caused by deep muscle spasms.he prescribed a muscle relaxant tablet (baclofen) and i took 3 per day for 2 weeks it eased off and did the trick.
WHAT I am saying is,it's a growth in my colon and I think I have cancer. The weight loss, the fatigue...yes there was at one time some upper GI bleeding, (very black stools) but not for a year. I am here because my doctor is both away and incompetent. I see an new one April 17th but I want to have some solid proof based theories about what I perceive to be wrong. It would be nice if a Doctor here at medhelp would respond.
I was given a fleet enema, and CitraMag to flush out my system. This made me feel better for about 8 hours. After which i was in pain again and feeling bloated. To cut to the chase, I attended many doctors appointments, and ER visits to get to the point I am at now. My last ER visit showed a rise in my WBC. Ultrasound showed borderline enlarged spleen and liver. As well as some mild bowel wall thickening. I was prescribed cipro and flagyl for one week.
Hey SheriBerry. I'm new here and am going tomorrow to see a weight loss doctor and to get started on the HCG. However...I feel for you and your constipation. Ouch. From what I've read you can have coffee/tea? Perhaps you could try a nice, strong cup of coffee to see if that will move things? If it works, it would be faster than a laxative. I believe the program I'll be on will have me only receiving shots once a week.
My best recommendation is to eat plenty of fiber and drink lots of water. That's what works for me and aided my weight loss greatly. That, along with adequate exercise has kept me quite regular. The best sources of fiber include whole grains (breads and cereals, whole-grain pasta, brown rice); nuts and seeds; legumes (such as dried peas, beans & lentils); fruits; vegetables. I've also found that eating a 100-calorie bag of popcorn and a big glass of water helps me.
Hello Tramadol Warriors! Top 'o the evening to you and welcome. We're glad you found us! You can do this.
Some cleansing products are designed to eliminate a lot of water from your system (which explains the weight loss some claim to have) and can cause dehydration. Some cleansing products also bind with other nutrients in your digestive system and eliminate them from the body. The testimonials are either paid people or from people who psychologically believe the product helped when it actually did nothing more but make them have a funny looking bowel movement.
I also never know from day to day. I had hoped I could lose and little weight and as my body adjusts (especially since the original protocol didn't call for excercise) I could incorporate the physical little by little. I can't take any pain meds with this diet and I can't take the pain that will come after daily exercise yet. (I normally took IB daily at least twice and Vicodin at least once month for bad times) Just being off my meds has made a difference!
) in to open it up and relieve pain. ANYWAY, she's losing weight, and shouldn't, and has soy and corn allergies, which rules out ENSURE and Boost. I don't want to start a thread HERE, but if you have ideas, reply, and steer me to the right place to post. "Urgent" as the process is like 5 weeks, and we're looking for supplements soon.
I wish all of you the best of luck and by staying positive, and not wasting your energy on the negative (which you cannot change!) you will have much more peace and success. Good luck to you all!!! And Happy Weight Loss!
Weight loss is a "VERY" ~COMMON symptom of Opioid Withdrawal,If one is over weight they could possibly take advantage of this effect, alternating between Opioid mis/use and Withdrawal,to maintain their desired weight, although I am myself currently 185cm(6ft,1.75inch)Tall and weigh 72kg,I am not currently Addicted NOR Dependant(Psychological or Physical)on Opioids, but when Withdrawing from a Heroin Binge or whatever,I drop to around 60kg.
I have nicely defined arms and legs. It is really exciting to weigh yourself every morning and see weight loss success. It is so motivating. I highly recommend working out while on this protocol. Good luck to you all and I will keep you posted with my friends results. It helps to keep a journal of your weight and measurements - more motivation!
Consult a gastroenterologist for an examination, further tests and proper treatment. Meanwhile, avoid caffeinated drinks (coffee, soda/softdrinks, tea) and citrus fruits/juices. These may aggravate the pain. Most importantly, avoid skipping meals as this will definitely aggravate your ulcer. Also avoid fatty foods for now as it may trigger pain if the case is pancreatitis. Please consult your gastroenterologist for further tests and treatment. HOPE THIS HELPS...LET US KNOW...
I got very involved in the stock market and as such was up early every morning, drinking coffee and very tense. The diarrhea became a daily experience, almost always just complete water texture. My wife insisted I get checked out, which scared me to death. I became convinced I had colon cancer and was developed major anxiety / depression problems as I went through the medical process.
My Dr approved pain meds I have chosen to replace with amino acids, now and continue with the Pilates and weight loss I began over a year ago while using Oxy as a support. I certainly am not conventional. The best ortho surgeon I could find wanted to do a 4- level fusion, and several other top surgeons showed me the door when the saw my MRI-they said the problems were too severe for repair. I decided at that point I didn't really want to have "failed back surgery syndrome.
You don't have take a class, just get in the water and stretch, and do a few laps. Lose weight. Try different things - firmer matteress, drink less, stretch more. I saw a post about fish oil. I am going to try that.
This also explains why it is possible to go for days without anything happening, and then in one day to go and end up with diah. and a significant weight loss. Is it also possible to have a problem with the muscles themselves, or just the overstretching? In my case, its not usually hard (even after days), it just doesn't move. This has been an issue for me for years. Maybe originally something to do with the IBS (which pretty much resolved with gluten free). But still ongoing.
However, I have recently lost 20 lbs due change in diet and exercise. I monitor my blood pessure at home and have noticed that since the weight loss it has been consistently low ( in the range of 95/55). I am wonderiing if the palpiations can be related to my blood pressure being lower than usual. Approx. one month ago I was frequently feeling dizzy, however that doesnt occur anymore. also. I used to smoke, however quit approx. 6 weeks ago. Thank you for taking the time to review my question.
This leads to diarrhea and often to steatorrhea — fatty, foul-smelling stools — as well as to weight loss and vitamin deficiency disorders. A lack of vitamin A can cause night blindness, for example, and low levels of vitamin D affect your body's ability to absorb calcium, which can lead to weakened bones. Damage to the intestinal lining. Bacterial overgrowth harms the mucous lining (mucosa) of the small intestine both directly and indirectly.
I have been going through some of the same things you are, and was told by a gastro doctor he is at a loss, doesn't know what is wrong. When I had the scan, it also took about as long for the gall bladder to open up, had much pain and nausea when it did. Mine is emptying though at 85%. I have had all the other tests; ultrasound, upper GI of the stomach only (which showed irritated nerve endings), blood work and upper GI. Nothing else shows up.
