Avatar f tn Hello, I'm 32 years old and my husband and I have been trying to concieve for about 5 months. I feel really dumb that I didn't realize how coffee / caffeine can impact our chances of getting pregnant. I do drink a lot of coffee while at work - almost a pot a day! And I've had this habit for at least 2 years. Now that I understand just how much this could effect us, I'm starting to panic.
1130586 tn?1316266292 I'm trying to drink coffee again. I alway grind beans fresh and use a french press. It's just so much to do and get fat grams and get to work. I do drink a couple of cups at work. Thanks for the reminder..
1450627 tn?1296616593 This means ONE cup of coffee not a venti from Starbucks or extra large coffee but one cup of coffee. But if you look at the nutrition guide on coffee black coffee is approx 200mg per cup but the espresso drinks are less than that! :). Yes spoken like a true caffeine addict lol. Bc we are past our first trimester caffeine isn't as much as a worry for miscarriage the concern is that it depletes your body of calcium which baby is already doing.
Avatar m tn stop it immediately all artificial sweetners are reported to increase liver cancer and anyway anything not natural is not ok.
Avatar f tn I live in south Arkansas and right now our weather is crazy. When it is going to be a cold snap, I hurt very badly. When a storm starts moving in I am very tired, even more so than usual. Just wondering if anyone has this problem and how do you deal with it.
Avatar m tn I think I am caffeine intolerant. I thought caffeine only stayed in the body for 6 hours or so, but I swear it stays in me for more like 36 to 48 hours. If I ingest too much caffeine, I remain with anxiety for a couple of days. If I take in more caffeine, it just extends my misery. Seems my threshold is around 100 mg. I experience heart palpitations and "skipping". My doctor says it doesn't remain in the body but a few hours and water will flush it out. I don't believe him.
Avatar m tn Actually, suboxone does halt both cravings and wd's from full opiate agonists. The reason why suboxone works so well is from several aspects. It has a strong agonistic capability which causes it to partially activate the Mu (Opiate) receptors. It is also suspected to activate Kappa receptors on a partial level as well. Another side is Buprenorphines high binding affinity on the Mu receptors...
Avatar m tn There is still a bit of a lingering smell downstairs in the house after a week. We have been staying at our parents' place. Avatar f tn Do any of you have your cup of coffee in the morning still? I'm 4w3d and I just want one cup in the morning. Is it horrible for me?
Avatar f tn Google the amount of caffeine in the type of coffee you drink. I switched to decaf dunkin donuts coffee it only has 18mg of caffeine.
755829 tn?1246919225 I recommend cutting out all coffee. But if you must drink coffee then yes, I would say that decaff is better than regular coffee. Decaff contains little to no caffeine while regular coffee contains high amounts of caffeine. Caffeine can cause MANY problems. I would name them all but it would take me a very long time. Look at this website for further information on caffeine and the side effects it has. Some you have probably already had and didn't even notice.
1298588 tn?1330318981 Most importantly, I have cut out caffeine. I used to drink coffee in abundance, but not anymore. Some of the worst episodes of tachycardia I have experienced have been triggered by that delicious yet troublesome substance, caffeine, so I started to avoid it altogether. The other day, however, I was feeling OK, so I went for a vanilla latte at the cafe near my house. It was a double shot of espresso, which is reportedly 150 mg of caffeine.
Avatar m tn Caffeine is in the same family of broncho-dilaters as theophyline. Coffee, tea colas... can help relive asthma symptoms. I seriously do not recommend using caffiene to control your asthma though. I did that for several years. The stimulant effects of the caffeine can be really bad. There are much more effective medications available that have fewer side effects. God bless.

228686 tn?1211554707 Luckily, my get-my-paws-on-anything Sammies don't have a penchant for chocolate. They do love coffee, though, and will sneak in some slurps of my coffee if I'm not looking. Since coffee has caffeine, is this also dangerous?
