coffee

Avatar f tn I avoided caffeine in the first trimester but by the 2nd and to the end of the pregnancy I had one diet coke per day!
624754 tn?1233297136 Always eat something first because I could feel weak or faint. The caffeine in my coffee has become unhealthy because I have drank coffee for many years. I know that caffeine requires more food as to be absorbed and caffeine as a drug continues to be active and this is my question; How long should it take to withdraw from the caffeine, how many day?
Avatar f tn You can have caffeine but in moderation. I am an avid diet coke, coffee, and tea drinker and I needed to cut back but my ob said it would be okay if I had only 1 6-8oz serving of caffeine per day (it also helps me relieve headaches). Also, if your worried, just switch to decaf!
Avatar f tn Yes you can have coffee. I drink a iced coffee from the drive thru every day and my babies are just fine. But 200mg a day is what they say is fine to have.
Avatar m tn s almost not there, but as soon as I get moving around, it comes back. Are there any tricks, changes to diet, or whatever I can do that will help diminish this? The drug seems to keep my anxiety and depression in check, but the other odd ball side effects, like the belching, crazy dreams, lower sexual urges, I'm not really happy with.
Avatar f tn If he is on triple tx, with Incivek for the first 12 weeks, he will actually be forced to eat a very high fat diet during that stage (20 mg of fat within 30 minutes prior to pill), as that medication is carried and absorbed via fat. Other than that one drug there are no real dietary restrictions except eating enough and including some fats for better absorption of the ribavirin. Most people lose their appetite and lose some weight while on interferon and ribavirin.
Avatar f tn Hi girls, I am 27 weeks pregnant and always craving for soda, when i was pregnant with my 1st child i didnt drink soda but now with this 2nd one i drink 2 cans of diet pepsi almost everyday? I was wondering if this ir sooo soo bad. pls help!
Avatar m tn Dear All, I have a few questions about the diet that patients of Hepatitis C should take/ avoid. 1. Alcohol is an absolute no as far as I understand. 2. What about coffee? I have read reports that it slows liver damage. Is this true? Should one have coffee during the treatment and when one is not being treated? 3. Do we need to avoid fried/ deep fried food? And what about chicken and mutton? 4. During tx papaya is said to boost platelet count. Does it interfere with the treatment drugs? 5.
684916 tn?1308686859 My adult children use artificial sweeteners in their coffee and only drink "diet" drinks. I don't think that this is a safe practice in the amounts that they consume. Any advice that I can share with them would be appreciated.
Avatar n tn I felt better after 2 doses of oxcar... so I had some coffee after not all this week. When I went off this evening I also had head pain for the 1st time. No coffee?? I am all set to get a handle on this but the selection of food is a mystery. Who'd have thought mashed potatoes would have triggered an attack? Please help! You know I'll love you forever!!!
1450627 tn?1296616593 This means ONE cup of coffee not a venti from Starbucks or extra large coffee but one cup of coffee. But if you look at the nutrition guide on coffee black coffee is approx 200mg per cup but the espresso drinks are less than that! :). Yes spoken like a true caffeine addict lol. Bc we are past our first trimester caffeine isn't as much as a worry for miscarriage the concern is that it depletes your body of calcium which baby is already doing.
Avatar f tn I copied this from a post by Gauf: Liver friendly diet. ( by Gauf) Organic and free range foods. These should be chosen whenever possible to avoid added hormones and chemicals. Whole grains. Whole grains contain natural fiber, slow down sugar absorption from carbohydrates and help to lower blood lipid levels. Some examples are brown rice, whole oats, whole wheat, whole rye, quinoa and amaranth. Artichokes. Consume steamed artichokes 3 to 5 times per week.
Avatar n tn I have to start a low-iodine diet before RAI testing soon. I'm okay with most of the stuff I can and can't eat but I'm having a terrible time just thinking of not having coffee! I usually have 3-4 cups of coffee a day, always with milk (the Hispanic "cafe con leche" tradition!) I can't live without it and if I don't have my coffee I get a terrible headache. Some diets I've seen say I can have non-dairy creamers, other say to avoid that as well.
Avatar f tn will a special diet help? Is this treatable? Is thhis a precurser to ancer?
1738923 tn?1327326669 Hello everyone The intention of this thread of mine is to discuss the recommended supplements, diet, and food for CHB people.
Avatar m tn Gerd effects many people. What is your diet like.? Do you drink alot of soda and coffee?
6403373 tn?1381003248 The biggest thing is not to "eat foods" to help you loose weight, but to cut out such simple things as pop, chips, coffee with tons of cream and sugar. Another way to eat better is to remember this, when you go shopping shop on the OUTSIDE of the grocery store. Almost everything that is processed is in the middle.
Avatar n tn My main concern, is that later in the year I want to attend a religious retreat where there will be fixed vegetarian catering and because choice will be very limited, I am wondering, given the difficulties of this unpleasant condition, if it would be wiser to look for an alternative venue or limit any possible effects by eating smaller meals. I am anxious to maintain the good progress I have made. Thank you for any advice.
3206391 tn?1345548398 Just wondering if drinking black coffee before testing effects the results? My Dr. called me in because my sugar was elivated. He said it was most likely from drinking black coffee before the blood was drawn. I remember my ex was told he could have black coffee before the blood was drawn years ago. Have they changed their view on this?
Avatar f tn Soo I have beibg craving a Cappuccino so bad & my hubby says No no coffee untill u give birth :(. Is it wrong to drink expresso??
Avatar f tn I think the diet coke is actually worse than tea or coffee, because artificial sweeteners seem to be linked to health issues in fetuses. If you're having the equivalent of one cup of coffee per day, it's unlikely you're harming your baby, but 3+ cups of coffee a day has been linked to low birth weight and neurological disorders.
Avatar f tn Google "scarsdale diet" and you can check out the menu
