Coffee detox headache

Common Questions and Answers about Coffee detox headache

coffee

Avatar m tn t had any of those in the past week and a half with the exception of limited sugar and caffeine. Monday I got a really bad headache with nausea for a few hours and in the past few days I've been experiencing depression. Could these be symptoms of detoxifying from dairy and/or cutting back the caffeine and sugar (I am down to one large mug of coffee a day from two or three)? Thanks.
Avatar m tn full body massages, aroma therapy, hot showers, coffee (i drank coffee everyday before my detox so I thought maybe I was "withdrawing" from the caffeine), ibuprofin (400mg and then i tried 800mg), paracemal (500mg then I tried 1000mg), cold washclothes, etc. My feet are cold and my head is hot...headache behind the fever,..it's stayed like this for day 6 and day 7 now persistently.
7604172 tn?1445632194 Hey! I wouldn't eliminate the caffeine altogether...it has it's own wd's. Certainly TONS of coffee is bad but a cup of coffee or two will at least keep you from being cranky and having a big headache! When do you plan to jump from the 10mgs? Sorry if you already said...I was just wondering...You're attitude is great so you should do well!
1034911 tn?1389546066 Last week, I saw a new one and in desperation, I FINALLY took his advice to detox from Excedrin Tension that I have been usually on a daily basis for those "annoying" headaches that I wake up with. I am on Topamax daily, and also take Relpax for those severe migraines, but I don't abuse that, but really feel that the Excedrin is excessive. He also gave me Decadron as a "rescue" med.
Avatar f tn Try coffee. Ice coffee or sumthin mixed then drink water afterwards. I been having headaches and that's the only thing that helps.
Avatar f tn During the first two weeks of detox using alcohol, smoking cigs/joints, coffee and other substances you want to "use" to feel better only make you feel worse with the exception of ibuprofen which helps quite a bit. Your body needs time and slowly things will normalize. Hang in there 4 days is AWESOME!

It seems to me that it's getting worse when all my other symptoms are dissapprearing or are already gone. Does anybody have any ideas why this might be happening?
557111 tn?1219712047 m on day 11, free from percs, and for the last 2 days I have been having really bad migrains. Has anyone else had migraines during their detox? Thanks in advance for the replys...
Avatar f tn withdrawal headache; insomnia; anxiety; depression; increased appetite; along with shaking and a general unsteady feeling. Or you may experience nothing at all; everyone is different. Be sure to keep well hydrated and get some exercise. If you feel at all bad just call your doctor. Good luck with this. It can be difficult to go through so reach out for support.
Avatar m tn And again, I was up all night last night with the muscle aches and twitching. I had some coffee yesterday to get thru the day and did have a cup kind of late, 7pm. But I switched to chamomile tea later, I'm wondering if the coffee made things worse? I'm exhausted again today and need to go to work and am thinking about drinking coffee to get going here, any advice?
Avatar f tn Try drinking a caffeine soda or coffee if your like most ladies I've noticed you probably cut caffeine and that will give you a head ache.
2048234 tn?1330814100 So tomorrow it will be 1 week since I have taken a pill and for the first time today I got up and made a pot of coffee. Is it normal that I honestly feel like I can fun for miles and my heart is racing after 1 cup?? Does this have something to do with not having the vicodin in my system?
Avatar f tn I get at least one migraine a month. A cup of tea or coffee first then soak your feet in warm water and put a cold cloth or an ice pack on the back of your neck (while soaking feet).
Avatar f tn First, did ur Dr ever find the root issue of ur GERD?...like a hiatal hernia? If not, slowly stepping of the meds is difficult enuff as u can suffer from what is called rebound effect...so do not try nething until u have done one successfully and do talk to ur Dr about a safe way to cleanse...as not all are safe.
Avatar f tn A fatal dose of caffeine would be 10 grams of coffee or about 80 cups of coffee all at once. While you are not likely drinking anywhere near a fatal dose, you are probably experiencing some serious consequences from your heavy intake of caffeine. Are you addicted to the caffeine?
2189355 tn?1339190167 Im 7 weeks too, I barley get headache .. only if I don't eat enough ... you should tried get as much rest you can ,drink a lot of water and eat .
Avatar f tn A small cup of coffee wouldn't hurt as long as your doctor hasn't already sworn it off. Something in the caffine gets rid of the pain. I actually think that's one of the ingredients on Tylenol.
17339814 tn?1489798076 If you have no other SX and your pain is bilateral (both sides) than it sounds more like a nasty headache. There are Headache and Migraine Centers and/or Physicians that specialize in the treatment of Headaches and Migraines. If you are obtaining no pain relief or reasons from your current Medical Practitioner than it may be time to consult the specialists. I'd use your Search Engine to locate information on Migraines and Headaches. There is a lot of information available.
Avatar f tn Try vicks vapor rub across your forehead and temples. It works for me.
Avatar n tn I drink coffee to help my head achs. I drink 1 cup every morning.
Avatar f tn I have this really terrible headache but the only thing i have is ibuprofen.. Online all it say is don't take in third trimester and to take Tylenol... I have no way at all to get Tylenol and i am only 14 weekswhat y'all think?
3186901 tn?1345721782 Yes id definately reccomend the forehead, also stay away frm foods and drinks that can set headaches off like cheese, chocolate, coke n coffee.
401095 tn?1351391770 I was actually thinking about this today too. I'm not a big water drinker but I went out stocked the house with bottles of Powerade. Also, to cut down on caffeine I started buying caffeine-free coffee (I can't live without coffee) and only drink one cup of regular coffee in the morning. I've pretty much given up on Coke as well for the same reason (I used to drink about 3 Cokes or more a day on average).
1929972 tn?1328548262 It could be the tail end of WD's; like the last hurrah! What have you tried so far? Sometimes a decongestant and some aspirin helps. I take Excedrin and it works great for me. Are you drinking enough? Being low on fluids can cause a headache,as well. Eating enough? So many things can trigger a headache it's so hard to know what will work and what to eliminate... A hot shower, some more otc's and a rest with your eyes closed may do the trick. Check back...
Avatar f tn I'm now in day two of a severe headache. I'm drinking plenty of water, I'm eating and getting rest. Should I be concerned?
