Maybe he thinks I want to sell it??? I just don't know. Is there a huge street value in nicotine patches and clonidine?
I did an outpatient detox, but I would imagine the meds are similar. They won't give you anthing with "street value", a.k.a. anything that is potentially addicting. A common med is clonodine, which is a blood pressure med and helps a LOT! It's uses also indicate that it helps with withdrawal symptoms associated with alcohol, opiates and nicotine. I also received another med (cant remember the name) to help me sleep.
I have been on subs for roughly 2-2 1/2 years nonstop. No doc, street value. I HAD TO GET OFF ROXYS (was taking up to 20, 30mg pills a day). Ive been tapering down and down and down and down. All the way from 2 8mgyears strips a day to 1/8th of one strip per day. Ive decided to stop. Im on day 4 or 3. Sorry im so loopy. 32 hours ans no sleep. RLS is so. terrible. Ive had friends take xans and other benzos to sleep for the first week. Is this a bad idea? And why?
Same way you get pot or crack or whatever? What is the street market value of pills? Vicodin for wisdom teeth? OMG! I had all my wisdom teeth pulled & think I took ibuprofin. As for pain, I have back pain & find that anti-inflammatories work better for the actual pain than something like vicodin does...
Do not under estimate the value of hot baths (and a lot of them) If you can call a doctor to get some clonidine and valium called in for you,do it. Tell the doc what your about to do. It will help with blood presure and a little with the w/d symptoms. It's gonna feel horrible but it will get better and better as the days pass. So many of us here have done this and so can you. Keep posting please. Believe it or not your post will help us and others just lurking.
Clonidine 0.1, or 0.2 mg, twice to three times per day. Clonidine is an anti-hypertensive medication that is commonly utilized in opiate withdrawal syndromes.
Over four years experience —this includes heroin, and all other street drugs, alcohol, and prescription medications--has taught me that natural detox works 100 times better than detox formulated and predicated by the use of other mind altering chemicals. It is also important to recognize that there are many of you that were prescribed methadone for chronic pain. Yet one must recognize that the end result is the same—and therefore the remedies for withdrawal are the same.
Roxicodone or street name Roxy's... 30 mg is one of the higher doses............. FLaddict blew it telling you what you were taking even though I had my doubts that your were not being honest......... Addicts are very smart when it comes to pain pills........ I found your post a little unbelievable that you didn't have a clue what you were taking per my posts.......... Your taking big league pain killers Roxys are expensive on the streets.......
I just wrote a lengthy post about deprenyl and it disappeared on me gosh darn it. So, in short, it is good stuff, but not at all a medication that has any street value. It does nothet you high in any way at all. I've found it give me better concentration, an improved sense of well being, better mental clarity, and more energy. It is suble. More info can be found athe international ati-aging website. They got tons of original research articles on it as well as other nutriceuticls.

The only thing I would add to this list is a blood pressure drug named clonidine. It effectively lowers the blood pressure and lessens many of the withdrawal symptoms. Most any doctor will prescribe it if you’re honest as to why you need it. Discuss dosages and frequency with your doctor. Thomas Recipe: 1. Valium (or another benzodiazepine such as Klonopin, Librium, Ativan or Xanax). Of these, Valium and Klonopin are best suited for tapering since they come in tablet form.
Schedule ONE? Methadone? Wouldn't it HAVE to be schedule II? As far as I know - schedule I is reserved for drugs that have "no known medicinal value" or street drugs. Methamphetamine, Heroin, LSD, Pot, etc. I find it hard to believe that the DEA or the FDA would classify methadone in the same class as these other drugs...maybe you meant II. Just curious I guess, are you sure it's I?
Other meds which aren't as helpful but will assist are clonidine (for the hot/cold) perhaps xanax or valium (for anxiety and sleep) or Klonipin. You also need to tell your doctor so you will not keep getting addicted. If you have chronic pain, hydrocodone is not the best thing for you. Perhaps you should go to a pain clinic.
If you have a doctor that you trust to help, he can prescribe some clonidine and possibly give you some advice to make the withdrawal a little easier. If you read some of the other posts, many people speak of forcing yourself to get out of bed and get some exercise. Hot baths will also help with the leg cramps. Of course, some immodium will probably help on the back side too. Keep posting, there are lots of people here with experience who can help you through the process.
You'll sooner get relief from Robaxin from smoking a great dane ****. Esecially when it comes to WD! Robaxin and pseudo-placebo drugs like Paraphon forte are listed in the PDR as being "of questional, i.e., unproven value as therapeutic agents. Yet they allow them to sell them. Unless the doc is prescribing to a toddle, being written for Robaxin or Paraphon forte is your doctors way of saying, "I don't believe you're in pain and I'm not about to give you anything effective.
you all realize that it must be done that you must get your life back......... subutex, suboxone, Clonidine, Xanax, Methadone...................yes they have a place if you use them for what there suppose to be used for but most of the time the addict will just substitute them for there drug of choice and find there selves just changing drugs......... You have to quit and get clean and how ever you get there do it and get there............
See if you can find a detox facility with an addition specialist and talk to them about your son if you value your sanity and your family's well being. Good luck! Now is the time to be firm and not take any more BS from your son.
These are most effectively controlled with clonidine. Clonidine is also helpful with sleep, controlling high blood pressure and anziety. The downside is that it will drain your energy. Email me and I will make arrangements for you to try a few. If they seem to work for you then you can get some more on your own. You will of course have to send me a copy of your famous video in exchange.
There I sat for about an hour, getting my vitals checked, and walking out with a Clonidine 0.2mg inside me and a script for another 3 day supply of the Clonidine, to use 3 times a day as needed. I took them religiously. I did not mess around with this "Thomas Recipe." All I took was the clonidine. Perhaps I should have added some Immodium, but I toughed it out. The most life threatening thing to me was the Clonidine.
This little stat was published in the Wall Street Journal a few years back and is backed by financial facts. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the reason our kids are getting addicted is because this product is purveyed for profit the same as cigarettes, polo cologne, calvin klein jeans or any of the other hot stuff that makes big bucks. Once hooked, the consumer will kill to get this nice little product... and as long as there is a profit base then the insanity will go on....
I have done an extensive search since I made the clonidine post. It seem that this drug may be nothing short of a mircle drug which has been swept under the rug. It has been around for a long time but it has come once again into the spotlight for the treatment of ADD. It has been proven clinically useful in treatment of ADD, hypertension, anxiety, insomnia, tics, Touretts syndrome, social anziety disorder, withdrawl syndrome and hyperadrenaline burnout.
All the streets are connected by steeper than average cross streets, the kind you think twice about parking your car on for fear of finding it crashed at the bottom from an overwhelmed parking break - steep, roughly asphalted bastards that test your climbing abilities and give you nice calf muscles if you walk them enough. It's a nice, private collection of streets with no street lamps to spoil the beauty of the night (or help you find your way home).
They said no, because she has a very large vocabulary, even though all of her therapist think differently. She has NEVER been a sleeper. She takes 3 mg Meletonin and 1/2 tab Clonidine before bedtime and still wakes up often, and even in a so called sleep state, she is tossing and turning, jerking, yelling all night long. Sometimes she jumps up screaming and brushing her body to "get the bugs and spiders" off. Her O.T.
No energy, I take vitamin B supplements, which help very short term. I am taking clonidine, which helped some as well. But the RLS is driving me insane. HOW can I stop this? And when will I start to feel better. Can long term sub users who have gone through withdrawal please help me? I was always told the withdrawal would be very mild, and this is a miracle drug. I will say, my life and habits have changed. I have no desire to use any pills at the moment, and I don't expect that to change.
The trams may be helping you with the wd's right now but what will help with the tram wd's? The cycle has to stop at some point. Why cant you tell the PM doc?
Hi Joe! For the sake of new participants, could you please keep the "Doc" of Dan's nickname in quotes. As you may have noticed from previous threads, there's been some confusion stemming from the use of Dan's misleading nickname. No offense, just a courtesy to those who might be vulnerable and looking for a real doc. Thanks!
My information is that he charges $250 for 3 take home injections, instructions for use and scripts for clonidine, muscle relaxer and naltrexone tablets which are your own expense... this covers about a week of detox and then the after care meds I listed. As far as I know, the buprenorphine is not available for any extended type of maintenance, mainly because it's only in injectible form so far... in other countries it's in pill form and liquid drops used under the tongue....
Whenever a patient of hers would die, instead of disposing of their medication she would smuggle it out of the place and stockpile it until my friend would travel from East KY to Pittsburgh, maybe 2-3 times a year, and pick it up and bring it back and sell it to me for perhaps 10% of its street value. For example, I could buy Dilaudid 4mg for $5/tab, MS Contin 30, 60, 100mg for $3, $5, $10/tab respectively.
