My dr gave me script for clonidine hcl 0.025mg take one in morning.Have not tried yet but i think i am going to put my mind to quiteing i hate having to do a pill to function and having to keep arms coverd.So does anyone know if it will help me get threw this,i also have it in0.1mg but told to cut in four.

I just went to my Doctor today.12-5-2012 For clonidine.For withdrawal from 32 days off tramadol and after today will be my 10th day off methadone.The pain from withdrawal did't start untill the third day Methadone time table different from all other opiates. I take 40 mg. of Lisinopril twice per day; Diovan 320mg - twice per day and Clonidine HCL 0.2 mg at bedtime. Hello, i am a 37 year old single parent of two boys, i was married to thier father who was mentally ill and i did not know it. He started abusing me a few years into the marriage and my sons witnessed it early on, i finally got out of the situation. Clonidine is a must for opiate WD's. At least it was for me. I'm 18 days sober today becauase of it.

I went to see my doctor and she prescribed me Clonidine tablets. I have been taking them for just 3 days and they have dramatically helped to decrease the amount of sweats. As my doctor explained they may not work the same for everybody but like myself you would try anything to ease the sweats. I hope that the tablets are a temporary solution and that the sweats will stay away for good!

Down to 7.5 mg of oxy a day - down from 60 mg. after surgery - have multiple pain conditions. I also have COPD. My main concern now is that they (his doctor and mother) have elevated his drug regimine to include 3 drugs that have known interactions with each other, 1 (Concerta) that is known to potentially cause sudden death, and 2 (Clonidine and Zolpidem) that are not recommended for children. Although Strattera does have some potential side effects, I believe it is by far the safest.

I just wanted it clarified so somebody doesn't start chugging HCL. The part for digestion is Betaine HCL, not plain HCL. Plain HCL is hard to deal with.

Kids at school are beginning to notice and are asking her about it. I have been given a prescription for Clonidine. Has anyone tried Clonidine? Was the Clonidine successful? What side effects were seen?

I just wanted to say that my psychiatrist just prescribed clonidine for anxiety. I am on Klonopin also. I couldn't find much info on using clonidine for anxiety, but at least now I know it's been prescribed for other people with anxiety too. I do NOT have high blood pressure.

It should also be noted that I have a heart condition called Parasoxymal Supraventricular Tachycardia and high blood pressure although it is still unclear as to why I have HBP. I am 83 and recently when I wake up in the morning my BP is elevated, around 175 or 180 over 85. I take a clonidine hcl .01mg and it brings it down to normal. I take my BP at 10 each evening and it is around 112/65. What causes this elevation during sleep. Thanks.
