Avatar n tn I wash face twice a day with my normal face wash. Also I use a sulfer face mask by acne free. Lush has good face masks too my favorite is magaminty mask that has a cooling mint feeling.
Avatar n tn Hi. What is your son's diagnosis? If he has acne or rosacea a course of oral antibiotics from his doctor may be effective. Clinique have lauched a new range of products called Redness Solutions. Using their cleanser and moisturiser will reduce visable redness of the face. I also recommend Eucerin's Redness Relief cleanser and moisturiser, which is a bit less expensive.
Avatar f tn Try acne solutions by clinique. Its maybe $80 for the system. Ive used it and my 9 yr old uses it daily. Its none allergenic and it was developed by dermatologists.

12037914 tn?1437677245 I started breaking out the last couple weeks of my pregnancy & after I had my daughter. My face looked really bad. I use Clinique & it works really good. I have sensitive skin & I love clinique. It's kind of expensive but it works. Now I am 38 weeks with my 2nd child and every time I break out I use my Clinique & my face clears right up.
Avatar f tn A small but definitive localized spot above my lip (philtrum) has been red, flaking, in pain, and at times a little bit itchy since January. It has never fully healed for a long period of time, and has always required some sort of lubricant in order to keep it from drying out, flaking, and turning more red. At times, it looks completely normal....for a few hours or while being medicated.
Avatar n tn have been on roaccutane for 3 weeks now, I tablet a day, from by derm, cos apparently i have perorial dermititus, after 2 months on doxy and 3 months on minocyline, and my rash (on each side of my mouth) are getting bigger. should i go back on minocycline. Avatar f tn Wanting to help her feel better I got her the Clinique Acne Solutions 3 step process. She used it for 2 days and now it appears that her face in burned...some spots worse than others. How do we treat this? I made an appt with a dermatologist but we can't get in for a month. HELP!
Avatar m tn If there was pus inside the pimple, it is likely it was an acne lesion. Never pop or squeeze any skin lesion in any way. If it is an acne spot you will spread the bacteria under the skin leading to more spots. You can also cause secondary infection making diagnosis harder. To speed healing and avoid scarring there are several good products I will recommend. Bio-oil is made of Vitamin A and fades new and old scars and discolorations of the skin. Clinique make two excellent products.
Avatar f tn I dont have acne this pregnancy but I had awful acne with my 1st. What helped me was switching my face wash. I switched from clinique to peter thomas roth anri aging cleanser and havent looked back.
Avatar n tn I like Rosaliac by La Roche-Posay, Redness Relief by Eucerin, and Redness Solutions by Clinique. When considering any treatment in the future have a test patch done first to check for a reaction.
Avatar n tn i have suffered from acne for the last 12 years, due which i have got large pores on my cheeks, can you please suggest ways in which i could minimise those.
Avatar f tn I didn't get any acne, but I always use Clean and Clear antibacterial face wash. Nothing with salicylic acid. I use a hydrating face GEL (not a lotion or cream) and I haven't gotten any acne. It's worth a try! Good luck!
Avatar f tn I had hormonal acne even before pregnancy and when I say it was a bad acne ladies trust me it was bad. I wash my face every morning when I wake up I use the Clinique treatement for acne and I do the same thing at night time. As far as make up I also use the Clinique make up foundation from their acne line. It has been working wonders for me.
Avatar f tn There are lots of things you can do to help your acne clear up. Clarins, Clinique and Estee Lauder all make good ranges for blemish prone skin, as spots are affecting more and more women in their 20s and 30s. Estee Lauder's Maximum coverage foundation is great for covering all imperfections for special occasions. Your doctor can prescribe you an anti-androgen contraceptive pill such as Yasmin or Dianette (Diane35 in the USA) which will provide birth control and clear up acne.
Avatar n tn My face has been breaking out like crazy since I got pregnant. I use clinique face wash but it doesn't seem to be helping.
Avatar f tn i also have brown spots on my face i never had before, i bought clinique spot corrector but the spots wont dissapear they look like age spots but im 26. If theyre hiv spots how long do they last ??
Avatar n tn I'm just wondering if you have any other symptoms? It can be the symptom of an auto immune disorder, but it's not likely. Most likely, you are allergic to the make up. If that's what it's is, they may call it allergic conjunctivitis. This may sound like a weird question, but do you have problem's with acne, have you ever had any strange cuts, lumps, or bumps in the genital area?
Avatar n tn So it has been two weeks since I had a electrocautery on a test spot on my nose. So the scab peeled off twice and there was this red spot. Then a small crust formed over the red spot and fell. The red spot is still there. My dermatologist said to wait to see if it heals and returns to my skin color (light brown). How long will it take for the red spot to go away... He suggested that it would not be worth doing electrocatery on the other bumps if they turn out to stay red...
5780747 tn?1386650207 I have acne that wont seem to go away, with my first pregnancy my skin cleared rite up not a spot of acne, however with this one it seems to be getting worse as the pregnancy progresses
1661017 tn?1302629897 I use Clinique Anti-blemish solutions - facial cleansing foam, toner, moisturiser and eye cream. These have never caused any reactions in the years of using them and they are dermatologically tested. I have read about perioral dermatitis, it looks and sounds like a mild form of that. It's more common in women aged 25 - 40 and comes and goes. What does everyone else think?
Avatar f tn I too hate using lotion on my face, but they do make moisturizer for acne and oily skin. I use Clinique and I like it a lot. Also try an exfoliating ance cleanser to get the flakes off. Also I have found that when I dry my face with a clean wash rag every night it makes a difference as opposed to using the same one a few night in a row. Good luck! OH! And going to see a dermatologist is a really good idea. Especially this young because you wouldn't want her to scar.
Avatar f tn Biore Ice cleanser in the morning and Philosophy microdelivery scrub at night, Followed by neutrogena spot treatment and oil free clinique moisturizer. I have not been wearing makeup. Well, as I noticed last time my skin broke out worse one year or so ago, my skin has started to become dry in spots. The same exact spots as one year ago too.
