Common Questions and Answers about Clindamycin phosphate gel

benzaclin

I saw a doctor recently who said it was definitely herpes, and suggested that an antibiotic cream might be useful. I've started using 'Vitara Clinda-Gel' ((Clindamycin phosphate) on the spot on my penis. Is this safe? I'm wondering whether these spots could be caused by sweat - I'm living in Thailand, and get more acne than usual all over my body :( Also, I try to avoid washing my genitals with soap as I get dry skin there, and I've wondered whether this could be causing acne down there.
Are you supposed to leave Clindamycin Phosphate Gel USP 1% to dry on your face or do I have to wash it off
I've just started using Clindamycin phosphate gel usp 1% and all of a sudden i satred breaking out worst i've only been using it for 2 weeks now. My question is : Is it normal to break out while using Clindamycin phosphate gel usp 1% before it starts working?
Hello, Clindamycin is the preferred topical antibiotic for acne. Just keep you face clean by washing with a mild soap atleast twice a day. Pat it dry and do not rub it. Avoid picking or pressing the acne. Apart from topical Clindamycin you can also use Benzoyl peroxide 5% lotion or gel once at bedtime. An amount of lotion the size of a pea should be enough to cover most of your face. If your skin becomes red or peels, you are using too much of the medicine or applying it too often.
The medicines are minocycline, clindamycin phosphate solution and benzaderm gel. We had unprotect sex yesterday. Do I have chances of getting pregnant? Will it effect to the baby? What should I do now? There are still 10 days for getting my periods. Really tensed………..plz help.

Clindamyacin Foam Duac Topical Gel (clindamycin, 1%, benzoyl peroxide, 5%) Finacea (azelaic acid) gel, 15% Brevoxyl - 4 Creamy wash (benzoyl peroxide 4%) Clindamycin Phosphate Gel, 1% clindamycin I've had 2 different dermatologists suggest acne or folliculitis yet nothing seemed to work. It still comes and goes along the same time frame whether I do nothing or try treating it with the drugs listed above. This leads me to think I was incorrectly diagnosed.
I was doing okay, just a few real minor breakouts every now and then using neutrogena facial bar and some clindamycin phosphate gel, but then I started using a Benzoyl peroxide cleanser and began to break out like crazy, worse than ever before in my life. I continued for about a month and it didnt get any better so I've stopped and it seems to be just as bad now about two weeks later.

I have been to a dermatologist last month and she simply said it is related to friction and moisture at the genital locations and prescribed me a clindamycin phosphate topical gel. Although I have used it regularly for a week, twice a day, the bumps are still there and didnt seem to heal. I was wondering what these bumps could be and what should be my next step to get rid of them. P.S. As I regularly get tested for panel STDs, I know that I am STD free..
I visited a Dermatologist and he recomended I take 1 capsule of Cynomycin 50 two times a day for 4 weeks along with the application of Clindamycin Phosphate Gel and Adapalene Gel I have read about the side effects of these 2 gels and would like to know if they are safe to use. This discussion is related to Penis Rash.
I have 2 acne medications, Erythromycin Benzoyl Peroxide Topical Gel and Clindamycin Phosphate Gel USP 1%. Is it ok to use the Erythromycin Benzoyl and then the Clindamycin right after, or what? Should I use both of these meds, maybe one after another? Also, when should I use them? At night before I go to bed or in the morning? Also, I have the product Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub. Is it ok to use this product when I wake up or should I just stick to the other meds?
I have been on Doxycycline, Erythromycin, Clindamycin phosphate gel, erythromycin topical solution, differin gel, and a few others that I cant remember. I was on each one of these prescriptions for about 3-4 months before changing to the next one. I have been through two cycles of Accutane and also went through three sessions of levulan laser surgery.

a steroid cream (Desonide) which did not help at all, it made it worse; I'm trying antibiotic gel (clindamycin phosphate topical gel) and Metronidazole gel right now, but neither of them seem to be doing much good. My cheek simply keeps up all of what I've described. I've recently gotten over a case of Pityriasis Rosea on my stomach and chest, but I don't think the two are related.
Clindagel (1 month) -Tretinoin Gel (1 month) -Evoclin (clindamycin phosphate) (2 weeks) Now I'm on: Ciproflaxcin HCl and Sulfamethoxazole (almost finished taking both of these) PLEASE any ideas on what I should do? My skin looks AWFUL!
I don't really know the reason for this but I had done thing for it,on one occasion I had applied 'Clindamycin Phosphate Gel',(in small amounts) on that area and from today is the 2nd day,and I've noticed that the skin is getting back to normal. I don't really know whether it was the right gel,but since its working for me I wont complain about anything and noways I'm gonna apply anything on it again unless I consult a dermatologist in my future. Now,can you tell what exactly my infection was?
He perscribed me Clindamycin Phosphate topical gel and Desonide lotion. After a few days of applying the Clindamycin the condition got extremely worse. I would usually get 5 or 6 bumps but when using the gel I would get around 20. I stopped using that and started the Desonide. This seemed to clear the bumps up but made the pain in my tailbone more severe. I have stopped using both but the pains and the bumps keep coming back. So if this is not herpes then what could it be?
Shoulder classic clean shampoo for oily scalp, Rogaine for hair loss, ketoconazole shampoo 2% for oily scalp, Clindamycin phosphate gel USP 1% for acne, and corticosteroids (such as fluocinolone acetonide) to reduce inflammation. Okay, first of all, Head & shoulder really does causes my hair to fall off more, so I kind of stop using it after the first month!
One of the products must be prescribed by a dermatologist, it is Clindamycin Phosphate Topical Solution 1% (otherwise known as Clindamycin). This is an alcohol-based, roll-on agent, either antibacterial or antibiotic, I'm not sure. It is quite mild, though. The other product you will find in some drugstores (over by the face soaps and acne stuff), but not all drugstores carry it. ULTA beauty store carries it.
Clindamycin Phosphate also helps.Atleast for me it worked wonders.
hi, do u get anxiety, re u allergic to sme thing, he best medicine would be relaxsation, dont worry much about it,wash you face with Acne-Aid soap, and apply clindamycin phosphate gel at bed time. This will really work.
I went to a Dermatologist when it first started years ago, they recommended to use Clindamycin Phosphate Gel. I used it for 6 straight months with no improvement. Then used it sparingly for years. I've recently just been using moisturizer to help with the dryness, but it's not very effective. Please help, it's getting progressively worse and worrying. I was prescribed Benzoyl Peroxide Gel (Use once a day), clindamycin phosphate topical solution (Use twice a day), and Retin-A Micro (Use once a day, typically at the end of the day). The topical solution says that it may "interact" with the gel...I can't even tell if that's a good or bad thing. How the do I juggle the gel & topical solution!
