I do not know about your type of clindamycin,
but i had a root canal , and my doc gave me clindamycin hcl 300 mg capsules, 4 tablets per day for 2 weeks. I was not advised anything about what supplements etc to take along. 2 weeks were fine.
After my medication stopped, i had anti-biotic induced diarrhoes for 2 months. every day was a nightmare. i looked up on internet, ant this was very common. I had to go to my physician and he put me on probiotic dose.
I was diagnosed with an abscess and given clindamycin HCl 300 mg yesterday. Today it was naturally draining on its own but due to where it is located I can't cover it so I couldn't let it continue draining. I ended up pushing/squeezing it too help drain it and a ton of stuff came out (sorry for that nasty imagery). Is this unsafe? Is it possible that I push the infection deeper?
Did you self medicate your self? you need to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis..
Ladies, tell me the truth is it me or its just this stupid ksjahqbskcidow bacterial vaginosis?!?!? Ugh I've had since I found out I'm pregnant! Took flagyl but I was allergic to I switched to clindamycin. I took that clindesse clindamycin vaginal cream, didn't work!!! Clindamycin HCl tablets for 7 days didn't work!!! Now they want me to take clindamycin HCl for 7 days again!!!??!!!!!! I'm sooooooo confused, frustrated, devastated, im cryinh and all mix nega emotions!!!!
I have clindamycin 300 mg, can I safely double up todays med intake. To be painfree for Christmas plans tomorrow??

So, dosing her as an adult, the recommended amount is from 900 mg to 1800 mg per day. It seems a reasonable dose at 1350 mg per day (45o mg per dose x 3 times a day). But also the dosing instructions say,

Its an antibiotic called clindamycin HCl for bacterial vaginosis. Its like every month since July I have to take a dose of clindamycin HCl twice a day for seven days... July I took flagyl for two days was allergic to it so they gave me clindesse vaginal cream for my baby! Then august found out I still have it and they have me take this clindanycin HCl tablet. Then august 27th, ugh I still have it!! They're making me take the same ****. Sorry im just a lil bit disappointed nor upset.
The Clindamycin I am taking is 300 mg. I have been taking it since Wed. morning. I take it every 6 hours. The lump under my broken tooth was pretty big. Prior to taking the Clindamycin, I had taken Bactrim for an infection and Augumentin. When the lump started I had taken some Augumentin for about a week. The lump has now been there a total of almost 3 weeks. When I went to the dentist on Wed.
I have also been on Paroxetine HCL 40 mg one tablet a day for a long time. I also take bupropion hcl xl 300 one tablet a day. I still have a short temper and major stress headaches. But probably the worst part, my marriage is greatly affected because I don't want to leave the house. I don't even care if I take a shower or eat.
I was taking two Oxycodone 5 mg. Now I'm taking 1 Oxycodone hcl 10 mg. Is there a difference from the hcl tablets and the ones without hcl? It seems like the tablets before (the ones without the hcl) were a little bit stronger than the ones I take now that have hcl after the Oxycodone. Thanks.
My question is I seem to have an absessed tooth I was perscribed clindamycin for it but was told to take 12 pills daily each being 150 mg does this seem normal? I am calling my doctor tomorrow to see what she thinks, just kinda wondered if anyone else has had this issue.
She send me an antibiotic (CLINDAMYCIN 300 MG) and told me that I had to get my stitches remove from my redo belly bottom it was reddish and it had pass 20 day after the surgery. Am almost 2 month since my surgery my belly bottom look a little better, but still have some redness , and am getting some bother around my area stomach, or some burning sensation here and there. He has taken a multitude of oral antibiotics --Amoxil 875 Mg 2x day for 14 days, to straight penicillin, Rifampin 300 Mg 2x day for 10 days, Clindamycin. Nothing seems to rid him of these nodules or lower his ASO titer. Overall crummy feeling most of the time. Headaches, leg aches, joint aches, back ache, neck ache. I am now being told he may have an autoimmune disorder. Any suggestions?

Hi, I took Clindamycin 300 mg 3x a day. I only finished 12 out of 21 pills as I feared the high risk of colitis associated with this drug. My question is that after stopping the medication about 3 days ago, I am having long (6"+), loose stools. Could this be c. diff? I also have a lot of gas throughout the day, some mild abdominal pain too.
