I am 32 Years, 3 yrear old I have a Pimple in my face , for clear face i Press it , 2 days after it comes again I have press it again. i repete this from last three year. The affected area of my face give a white smelly liqued.

A correct nutritional balance and skin care will be helpful. Drink plenty of water every day. Take 7-8 hours of sleep daily. Have a balanced diet rich in vitamin A, zinc and rich in multivitamins.

Following that, the same doctor did an ultrasound on the sore to determine whether there was any puss below the surface or in the muscles. The ultrasound showed there was nothing much in the sore. He then perscribed clindamycin for 10 days. Halfway through this perscription I had a negative reaction and had to stop taking them. I am at my wits end, and teetering on depression. I wouldn't even treat for "possible infection" with either. I'd wait for test results to come back to see if you even have either of them. clindamycin isn't going to help for either if you should be infected with either of them. you are wasting your time and money by taking it.

I'm allergic to penicillin and sulfa. Dentist prescribed Clindamycin 150 mg for 10 days for infection in my tooth. Got hives, rash, swollen lips and extreme itching and blotches from head to toe. Was on vacation so stopped medication after 3 days of taking it. It is now 5 days taking benadryl and the hives and itching have not stopped. What is in the clindamycin that I may be allergic to?

Go to the doctor. Clindamycin is a high risk for gut issues.

I have not had any breakous for about 2 months since using clindamycin during the day, and sulfacetamide at night. I just recently added the retin-a becasue i wanted some anti-aging benefit. Also, i would like to add an antioxidant serum to my skin since i live in florida and want to protect my skin from UV etc.Do you recommend anything that wont break me out. When would i apply it before or after clindamycin? I use blue lizard face suncream as my spf.

Thank you so much for your response. May I also ask what length of time would I take the Biaxin? And is there any home treatment, Like garlic pills etc. that would help augment healing? ( since Biaxin is not considered the best treatment.) Although I'm stuck with that. And frankly, I was on the Clindamycin for weeks and that didn't get rid of the infection, so maybe a broad spectrum antibiotic will work for me. I sure hope so. thank you again for your advice.

Hoping that Clindamycin will work...If the Clindamycin does not work...is there another medicine that could do the trick?

Also, the infection has been treated with numerous antibiotics (amoxicillin, flagyl, omnicef, augmentin, clindamycin), and all seem to help at first, but only clindamycin has lasting effects. Not even augmentin worked. Any idea on what kind of bacteria would respond to clindamycin but not augmentin?

I am curious about the answer you will receive from the doctor on this forum regarding your question concerning Clindamycin; because, I had been prescribed two rounds of it for a tooth abcess. They were approx. 3 weeks apart. The tooth had since been pulled out a long time ago; but, I developed a sudden increase in PVC's 24/7 during the treatment time with this anitbiotic and have had PVC's since.

8 days after the encounter I developed what appeared to be a pimple on my scrotum. It was tender and sore. And when squeezed it pooped like a pimple and white stuff come out. It was tender the entire time. Well about 5 days after the pimple appeared I took 1g of clindamycin and 3g of amoxicillin orally all at once in a panic. It finally went away 8 days after I took that.
