The discharge itself has increased over the last few months and is watery, yellow/white, and smells like nothing I can describe (other than it smells gross). I honestly have no clue what it is! I've scoured the internet to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions or leads that I can follow? Perhaps anyone else has had a similar adventure? It's quite disheartening when you're gynecologist looks at you and tells you, "You're a mystery".
And I have taken 3 types of medicine like clindamycin, ofloxacin and cefuroxime but nothing happens,Is this a sign that I may be positive already with HIV?.. Is HPV can be seen in the medical result of the even it is already cauterized or removed?I am experiencing night sweats is this a proof that I may positive with HIV?What other medication can I used to treat this stds..I need your answer.THanks.
Prescribed ofloxacin, desonide and clindamycin with no results. Currently halfway through doxycline two week course and showing no real changes. The redness on top of penis tip changes from bright red when erect to mildy red when relaxed. There is a bright red spot that is about 1mm in size that the redness on tip seems to emanate from. Doctors don't think much of the redness although it is not "normal" because it was not there before. Could this be HPV?
just wondering if you could help, I have been sexually active with this girl for 5 months starting in may, last sexual contact was september 15th, I was sick 3 weeks ago (september 25th) with sore throat, malaise, one side quite enlarged lymph node, had a painless bump diagnosed as sebacceous cyst on penis shaft. I went to the Doctor he gave clindamycin, and sore throat and lymph node swelling went away after 2 days, cyst went away after 2 weeks slowly regressing.
I also have excess discharge that is white. I am not pregnant and haven't had sex in close to a month and have no stds. I also have no itching or pain. This has been going on for a month or so now but i have been to embarrassed to go to my doctor. what could it be?
and he did a pap and urine test. I, at the time, did not consider STDs but he mentioned them. I left the hospital in immediate panic. I started looking up stds on the internet which could be a big mistake. I started growing paranoid and constantly checked myself down there for any thing that might seem odd. the discharge continued. I went back to the dr and they told me all tests for chlymidia gonnorhea, trich, yeast and bv were negative. I asked what could cause the discharge then.
On a different occasion I gave a women unprotected oral sex, she also gave me unprotect oral sex. Iam going into a serious relationship and i dont want to spread anything. Ive read online that it could take years before a genital warts or herpes break out. Ive also read that in men HPV virus goes away in years. If HPV goes away then why do people have there first breakouts years after ther exposure? 8 months later and no breakouts. do my sexual encounters put me at risk for anything?
the tests results for stds and candida all came back negative, but the sympoms are still present. i am going back to the gum the next time i can get away from work, but no one has been able to tell me what kind of infection this is or what kind of treatment will work. i would think it was only bv but the doctor said that it was an infection of some kind. so what kind of infection cannot be cured with all these antbiotics?
“This particular clone is resistant to at least three other drugs, clindamycin, tetracycline and mupirocin,” Dr. Chambers said in a telephone interview. Of the alternatives recommended by the C.D.C. and the Infectious Diseases Society of America, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim), clindamycin and a tetracycline, “this strain is resistant to two of those three,” he added.
I picked the scab off, and placed hydrogen peroxide on it. It fizzed and it was a bit painful and bled a little when I squeezed it. It looked a lot like a syphilis Chancre (an ulcer with a yellowish crust and a crater edge). It seemed to weep water just a little bit. Over the next week it started to look like it was slowly healing with the crater starting to shrink, but still had a little yellow crust in it and when squeezed hurt.
Oh, 1 more thing, about the DIV, I'm thinking maybe that's my issue too, but only in that 1 spot because the treatment for it is hydrocortisone and clindamycin (vaginal). Every time I have a flare up, it takes clindamycin to make it go away. Good luck.
In the time between my exposure and now I have experienced diarrhea, lack of appetite, weight loss, tinea versicolor, angular cheilitis, cystic acne, and what worries me most is now I have clustering folliculitis in my groin (I have never shaved down there) and non-clustering/sporadic folliculitis in my forearms and back of my hands (never had before). The folliculitis began after my 87 day test, the clindamycin given to me by my dermatologist is not improving the groin area.
I reported back to the clinic, I was put on Ceftriaxone and Gentamicin injections. I took it and the dicharge stopped. But the rash persisted. I was given clindamycin and asked to do a urethral swab which failed to detect any pathogens, (only yeast cells were discovered). I was given fluconazole(single dose),and also loratyn and predisolone and asked to change to Canesten cream.
I've been tested for all STDs and it is all negative (multiple times). I've had two CBCs done and all normal. My pap smears are also normal. I have had ultrasounds done and a sonohystogram done. All normal. I'm recently thought my broken tooth was the cause of it all. I thought I had an infected tooth and it was causing me problems. I'm getting surgery on Monday to remove the tooth, as well as my wisdom teeth. But, the doctor said I didn't have a tooth abscess. I'm so confused.
Went to a doctor but never told this since I am going to work abroad in three days time,he had check up for urine(3-6pus,2-3rbc,others normal),blood(all normal),hematology(triglyceride and HDL high, others normal),hepa-b(I have anti, and said I am free from hepa-b for whole of my life).Doc gave clindamycin. Prior to my flight, I took Azithromycin 500mg 1x and doxy for 4 days til' I arrive abroad. When I arrived,I had fever and body pain but no discharge.Frequent Urination only and chill.
The last time I had these symptoms was in March - they came on suddenly with a stinging sensation, and lasted for 6 weeks. During this time, I was tested for all STDs (all negative), tested for bacterial infections (negative) and treated repeatedly for thrush (even though all lab tests came back negative). Eventually, the symptoms eased on their own. I dont use chemical irritants etc so dont think thats the problem.
recurrent yeast infections moderately sexually active desk job-grad school have one dog and cat no STDs itching, bumps and fissures for 3 years I hope we can solve this mystery!
He gave me Clyndamicyn and it helped and it was 6 weeks ago. Yet the area is still pink and somewhat sensitive (not bad though) I never saw anything that looked like blisters etc etc. But when I would clean it there would yellow and green ****...Like the **** you get in the corner of your eyes when you wake up. He said there could be some scarring. Im TERRIFIED this will return and that he is not correct on his "observation" since he took no real sample or test.
however my newest results showed lactobacilli and no inflammation I did a months worth of treatment with clobetasol and clindamycin, as well as just a months worth of clindamycin, which made no difference. (for the supposed div) Basically, they cannot find ANY infective cause for this massive amount of discharge, yet everyone agrees there is a massive amount. I did have an ectropion at one point but it is gone now.
I went to a dermatologist and he said that’s just a folliculitis and I take oral and local antibiotics for around 15 days such as clindamycin and doxycyclin with local Fusidic acid , and still no improvement and new pimples appears . there is no lesions occurs in my penis or on around the anal .
Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. Treatment is by metronidazole and clindamycin. Please do not use any vaginal douches. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
ok i have the same promblem i have bumps on my ***** that have puss and blood come out they tend to hurt i just wanna no wat they are im sure itz not an std even though im sexually active i got checked for all stds and i have nuthen but these bumps with nasty stuff cumin out of them and they stink like ewwwww i no but sumone tell me please

I've taken 2 rounds of Z pack and clindamycin. And the oddndiscomfort is still there. I have found that drinking water helps with the burning, does this sound like an std?
It occured three times already on the same spot, maybe once a month type of thing. it hurts when I touch it and also itches.. All three times when I popped it and there was white stuff popped out like when I pop pimples on my face. After it was popped, it healed right away. To me, it looked different from cold sore because when I do get cold sore, it has blister all over the area and later on the colour changes to yellowish green. What could this be?
I got tested for STDs and everything came up negative.. it just so happened that the day I got tested, the smell went away. My friend went to the doctor, and they said she had a bacterial infection and gave her something for it. 8 months later... I confronted her and she said that the smell returns and will stay for awhile, the same thing is happening to me. Even if I shower and make sure to wash my vagina good, the smell still persists. It's really embarassing..
Oral sex indeed is much safer than vaginal or anal intercourse with respect to HIV and all STDs. I can't say what the red marks are, but probably not an STD and certainly not a sign of HIV. I wonder whether it's just broken blood vessels from sucking. If it just fades away, forget about it. But if you remain anxious, consider HIV testing ~6 weeks after the exposure; the negative results might be more reassuring for you than anything I can say.
Especially since you had a response to the antibiotics, your symptoms sound very consistent with bacterial vaginosis. If you were my patient, I would re-test you for BV, and would consider re-testing for STDs. If you did have BV ( which I suspect) I would treat again with antibiotics ( Flagyl or Clindamycin) and also for yeast (diflucan) following the antibiotic treatment. The thing I would do differenty though, is to have you start taking pro-biotics or yogurt with live cultures.
No, neither high nor low blood sugar should chance your risk for getting gonorrhea or other STDs. 2. Clindamycin is related to erythromycin and azithromycin. In theory, if anything, if you were taking the clindamycin at the time of exposure it might slightly lower your risk of becoming infected. The prior infection requiring the root canal should have no influence on your risk for STD infection. 3.
I was put on two antibiotics, amoxicillin and clindamycin, in prior months and I take birth control pills. 3. I have had flaky, peeling skin on my outer labia and a fissure at the top of my vagina where my outer labia meet. The tear is under my pubic hair and a centimeter long. It bleeds a little bit and is slightly painful, but no other fluid is present. It begins healing the next day, so I have been unable to have it swabbed. I have not experienced any other tears.
