Prescribed ofloxacin, desonide and clindamycin with no results. Currently halfway through doxycline two week course and showing no real changes.
The redness on top of penis tip changes from bright red when erect to mildy red when relaxed. There is a bright red spot that is about 1mm in size that the redness on tip seems to emanate from. Doctors don't think much of the redness although it is not "normal" because it was not there before. Could this be HPV?
t seem to have problems with doxycycline, amoxicillin or clindamycin. Clindamycin destroys my stomach though. I avoid cipro and zithromax.
I get a strong smelling odor starting about 18 hours after I shower, i shower every day. The odor is so strong that it goes through my clothes. I also have excess discharge that is white. I am not pregnant and haven't had sex in close to a month and have no stds. I also have no itching or pain. This has been going on for a month or so now but i have been to embarrassed to go to my doctor. what could it be?
Alternatively, you can take clindamycin for the bv and drink a boat load of cranberry juice for the UTI and water of course. It will take longer to clear up the UTI but it should work. It did for me in a pinch. It just took a couple of extra days. Of course if you are diabetic you can't.
I’ve tested negative for all commonly tested for STDs including mycoplasma and trich (though perhaps trich/myco are false negatives). I was tested for chlamydia and gon 5x times and the girl tested twice. I also tested negative for hsv2 at week 8 -- the girl tested negative too.
There is no discharge from penis that I can observe. Urinating doesn’t seem to increase pain immediately but if I go 5-6 hours without urinating it might be reduced.

I have been to a dermatologist last month and she simply said it is related to friction and moisture at the genital locations and prescribed me a clindamycin phosphate topical gel. Although I have used it regularly for a week, twice a day, the bumps are still there and didnt seem to heal. I was wondering what these bumps could be and what should be my next step to get rid of them.
P.S. As I regularly get tested for panel STDs, I know that I am STD free..
ve taken 2 rounds of Z pack and clindamycin. And the oddndiscomfort is still there. I have found that drinking water helps with the burning, does this sound like an std?
has given me 10 days of clindamycin to be taken 3 times a day at a dose of 450 mgs. this is fine, i can take clindamycin with no ill effects.
HOWEVER, i have read that this drug is not commonly used to treat std's as there are so many better options. Is clindamycin going to work??? Thanks.
Hi I Was Recently Sick and Had To Begin taking an antibiotic called Clindamycin. Will I Be Okay To Drink Alcohol While On This Medication. I Have Read That This Antibiotic Doesn't Have Any Negative Affects While Drinking Alcohol. But Just Wanted To Double Check.

I went to a dermatologist and he said that’s just a folliculitis and I take oral and local antibiotics for around 15 days such as clindamycin and doxycyclin with local Fusidic acid , and still no improvement and new pimples appears . there is no lesions occurs in my penis or on around the anal .
1) can all of these antibiotics ive been on delay/impact tests taken?
2) are my tests up to this point a good indication of a - status?
3) can my root canal have delayed p24 from showing up on tests?
4) at what day would my tests be considered conclusive?

ve never had a tooth extraction while having abscessing going on, and she said it was fine. Tooth was pulled and was sent home with an Rx of Clindamycin (150mg), 4xday. Infection got worse. Dentist, then used a lazer to open and drain the infected area. Several shots (7-8) of novacaine was needed to numb the area. After procedure, my mouth hurt and burned the worst that I've ever experienced before. The infection is still there.

Thank you so much for your response. May I also ask what length of time would I take the Biaxin? And is there any home treatment, Like garlic pills etc. that would help augment healing? ( since Biaxin is not considered the best treatment.) Although I'm stuck with that. And frankly, I was on the Clindamycin for weeks and that didn't get rid of the infection, so maybe a broad spectrum antibiotic will work for me. I sure hope so. thank you again for your advice.
Also, the infection has been treated with numerous antibiotics (amoxicillin, flagyl, omnicef, augmentin, clindamycin), and all seem to help at first, but only clindamycin has lasting effects. Not even augmentin worked. Any idea on what kind of bacteria would respond to clindamycin but not augmentin?
I have googled Clindamycin and found that there is a link between torsades and Clindamycin. Is this drug in the same family as Erythromycin? Should I be safe and stop taking it. I have been taking it for 4 days and have 1 day left. My infection, which wasn't very bad to start with, is now gone. I have been having an increase of bradycardia and PVCs and I am a bit concerned. I don't have an ICD.
