Avatar m tn I am still having night sweats BADLY. My dr put me on Climara Pro. I am concerned about the stroke and dementia risks that it lists. I have been on it for a week and its helping me, although I am very bloated which does not work well for a recovering eating disorder/alcoholic, (just saying). Is it too dangerous for me because of my blood flow. Will the bloating subside? I have stopped eating mostly again, but I am more worried about the blood?
Avatar n tn I imagine time outs were the first things the teacher tried. A behavior program that works best for training is one that offers rewards leaving class without permission for Kindergarten is highly unsafe- sure he needs to be disciplined- although honestly it is not that uncommon in the first weeks of school- This is pretty late in the game- (second semester) to still be doing this though.

5039239 tn?1364024671 My thinking keeps getting better and found a much better way of life, staying positive, learned how to do all activities now clean and sober. Thank God for the AA program and the twelve steps, I behave, am much better person, and practice my anger management, so life is so good.

Avatar n tn they will only cover a generic form of Climara (also a bioidentical patch, but made from.... um... yams, I think, where as Vivelle is from soy... or is it the other way around?). I may just pay the extra to stay on Vivelle, I love it so much. My doc is great about giving samples to me as a supplement to what I already take (nice if I lose a patch, in particular). I don't know much about the generic Climara (bigger patch...
Avatar f tn "Overlapping" may help. When you put on the new patch, leave the old one on for a half or full day before removing. If that doesn't work, you could try switching to the weekly Climara patch and "overlap" it if you still have the migraine trigger. I used the patch for over a year and it didn't work well for me due to the fluctuations and not giving me enough estrogen. But it did not cause migraines but I was never one to suffer with those, thankfully.
139792 tn?1498585650 Rather than emphasize the long-term health benefits of an exercise program -- which can be difficult to sustain -- we urge providers to focus with their patients on the immediate benefits," he says. "After just 25 minutes, your mood improves, you are less stressed, you have more energy -- and you'll be motivated to exercise again tomorrow. A bad mood is no longer a barrier to exercise; it is the very reason to exercise.
Avatar m tn She goes to a public high school mostly in special education classes 3 days a week and goes to a STW (school to work) program for people with special needs 2 days a week. She is relatively high functioning and does fairly well at both, even getting employee of the month at the STW program in Sept. However, the last couple months or so she is flat out refusing to get out of bed to go to STW or school at least 2 or 3 days per week.
12863897 tn?1427565851 Enfamil and Similac both have a sample program. They will send you coupons and samples of formula. I went and emailed all of the diaper companies and baby bottle companies asking for samples so I could make an educated decision about what brands to choose for my baby, and most of them said they don't do samples, but some offered coupons to try their over priced merchandise. It's pretty frustrating after emailing 20+ companies and maybe getting 2 coupons (for 10-15% off).
548476 tn?1214707282 (Reuters) Researchers put 19 overweight people with HCV on a 12-week diet and exercise program, with a goal of losing about 1 pound per week. At the conclusion of the study, average weight loss was approximately 13 pounds. In addition, several markers of liver health improved, including a decrease in liver enzymes (higher numbers suggest more liver damage) and a reduction in the amount of scar tissue and fat in the liver. These changes indicate a decrease in the severity of the liver disease.
Avatar m tn Why would one side hurt worse than the other. They also put me on a hormone patch called Climara. Has anyone taken this and is it good.
2059782 tn?1342033162 In my opinion there is nothing wrong with looking to the future, setting goals and even rewards. Just understand that those goals are reached 1 day at a time and you will do great. Tan it up!
Avatar f tn I have a 6 year old male student who poops his pants on purpose. He will be sent to the bathroom and come back and poop his pants while he is talking to you. Parents do not want the teacher to take away recess or positive activity. But will not go for the reward program either. What's next. And yes he has been seen by pedi....
Avatar f tn It is a behaviior modification program, there are a few target behaviors that are worked on at a time. The teacher sends home a Daily Report Card that list YES or NO for every part of the day reading, science, ss, special, lunch etc..... if the child gets a certain amount of yes's during that day they get to choose up to 3 rewards that evening.
Avatar f tn We had a similar situation with our 6 year old son, he had to go on the behavior program where each day we had a behavior report sent home which had smiley faces next to the times he did well and frowny faces for when is was off task or disrtuptive. Our issue stems from our 6 year old thinking he is an adult and that he should be able to make his own rules instead of having to follow someone elses.
Avatar n tn At four he was accepted into a special-ed pre-k program for learning and motor skill deficits. At age five he was tested and I was told that he was ADHD. I have researched mental disabilities and disorders on my own for several years and did not think that ADHD coverd or defined all of the symptoms and behaviors I was seeing. Bipolar runs in my family, I thought that he might possiblly have some mood disorder issues, not certain if it was bipolar.
