Do not use proactive. It makes your skin dependent on it and when you stop your acne will come back much worse.
I use a wash cloth and gently scrub my face with soap. Dove and Olay work the best for me, don't over dry the skin. Then I pat dry and put Clean and Clear Persa Gel, works wonders! If my face gets dry, which it does every time the season change, I use Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment. Burt's Bees also works beautifully on vanishing past acne scars.
Congratulations! Im 18w and my skin is still horrible.. it gets much worse before ir gets better unfortunately. Look for an acne medicine with benzoyl peroxide. I use one by clean and clear called persa gel 10. I got it at walgreens. You only need a little and over night helps reduce size and reddness. Since your wedding is only in 3 days, your skin won't be completely clear but will help fight breakouts.
Any of you ladies know if it's unsafe to get a gel manicure? I have a friend giving me Crap for considering a gel nail manicure for my wedding in a week, the clear "French manicure" look with silver sparkle tips. She's ragging on me about how the chemicals they use can leech into my skin and possibly harm my baby. Fair enough. But honestly, it sounds crazy uptight.. is it really that potentially dangerous?
The arguments are that it is good for you because you have to drink so much water your skin becomes hydrated, and secondly because you are sweating for an hour and a half your skin sweats out all of the toxins creating hydrated, clear skin.
However, wouldn't being in a room that hot doing exercise for that long cause broken blood vessels? Could it in any way be bad for your skin?

I have for the past couple of months been struggling with a particularly annoying patch of dry skin above my upper lip, center between my upper lip and nose. The skin looks like dry skin pockets, no matter how much I moisturize. Now I also do exfoliate, and afterwards the skin looks brighter red and raw, and the next morning, I get those dry skin bubbles as I call it. To add insult I have dark thick facial hair, that apparently wants to come up RIGHT UNDER that dry skin patch.
I have noticed over the last 2 days my hands are swelling up and itching really badly my hands never swell even in hot or cold weather but my wedding ring is extremaly tight and I can not get it off but it's the itching too
Anyone know what this could be

Around 2-3 days after i started to get red dots (1-2mm) around the head of my penis. This scared me but i needed to goto a family wedding abroad for 2 days so i didn't get them checked. On the second day of taking prednisone, I noticed that my skin was just really red. There was no inflation of the skin. After a few hours, my skin started to clear up and had no more red spots or any sort of rash on it. On the third day, I woke up to notice my body is filled with tiny red hives. Not as worse as before though. I also noticed that whenever i sleep, the rash comes back. I thought it was because of something i ate. I was at a BBQ and a wedding dinner before this happened.

For the last six months I keep getting some sort of infection on my ring finger where my wedding bands are. It is a ring all the way around my finger that is red in color, itchy, sometimes there are clear fluid filled blisters, and then when it starts to heal it becomes dry and peels. I was told by my jeweler that it was a fungus and to put rubbing alcohol on it several times a day. That works but it keeps coming back and I am cleaning my rings regularly.
So I'm currently 4 weeks pregant and on my wedding day I should be 15 weeks. I already brought my expensive mermaid dress that's supposed to shape my body and I don't know what to do about the bump. Does anyone know any ways I can hide the bump in a safe way ..
