ammonia

9310208 tn?1410859285 I use dishsoap on counters, vinegar water and dshsoap mixture on floors, water alone on mirrors, green or natural toilet bowl cleaner that has low odor, and antibacterial cleaning wipes that I wear gloves with in the bathroom that don't smell too strong. Vinegar on counter and cutting board when sanitizing. Vinegar and baking soda paste mixture in oven and let it sit before scrubbing. I never have used many chemicals to clean (except the bathroom). I felt it was still pretty sanitary.
Avatar f tn At home, I use natural cleaners and hot, soapy water with vinegar. I deep clean an elderly couple's house biweekly and wear a dust mask and gloves just to be sure I don't get too many chemicals in my system.
338963 tn?1253660822 But, I was watching an organic living show the other day and they said to use vinegar and water as a cleaner that is completly safe and hazard free. It is one part vinegar: Four parts water. I have been using this, and it is amazing! It cleans things that my previous cleaners didnt touch!
1855970 tn?1325823613 I washed down the wall with white distilled vinegar and I'm using a dehumidifier in the room...
Avatar f tn Nothing with ammonia for sure, but most things are fine as long as the area is well ventilated. If it's not an open area, I'd use a fan or something to air it out while cleaning just to be safe.
5431850 tn?1381682097 My mom uses vinegar.. It works wonders and since you can eat it.. Its fine to be around.. But to me vinegar stinks! But it gets the job done better then scrubbing bubbles.
Avatar f tn We shouldnt take in any strong or dangerous chemicals but all honesty i just try and use less of the product while cleaning and take little breaks in between to let smell die down
598816 tn?1219542566 I found at Walgreens they sell some cleaner called Holy Cow. It's supposed to be organic and free of alcohol, ammonia, vinegar and VOC (whatever that is?) I am trying their glass cleaner and it works pretty well. I agree with mom888 about certain chemicals. I think in our family some of the fregrances aggravate some of us, either the smell, or causes headaches. Personally I'm not a fan of bleach.... I use it sometimes to sterilize pots, but the smell is strong...
427555 tn?1267553158 t remove them, try scrubbing them with an old toothbrush and vinegar. The vinegar will help break down the calcium or line. This works well with shower heads too. Just remove the head and place it in a basin of vinegar; let set for a couple/few hours (depending on how bad it is). You may have to use a tooth or other small brush to remove some residue, and if the item is really gunked up, the process may take longer.
Avatar f tn Try vinegar. It cleans and deodorizes well. Also cleaning with vodka is a good, but expensive alternative.
Avatar f tn The pregnancy tracker says to not clean out your cats litter box due to parasites in the feces. I'm curious as to whether this is true for both cats AND dogs. I have a new puppy and she still occasionally poops in the cage at night. If I'm extremely careful of not getting it on me and washing my hands and arms thoroughly afterwards....will I be OK from catching those parasites? I'm approximately 7wks pregnant and I want to make sure I keep my growing baby healthy.
5739095 tn?1374690666 I also use the all natural cleaners. For like mirrors and windows I use a vinegar and water mix and newspaper. The vinegar mix is good for linoleum flooring too.
Avatar f tn Better yet who want to be pregnant in a dirty house? Clean away ladies just open Windows and turn on fans if using bleach and avoid ammonia altogether....
11942944 tn?1423069192 I like to steam clean also using white vinegar Is a great thing to clean with I put some in a spray bottle with water and dish soap it's just a better way to clean keep all unnecessary chemicals Away from yourself and your family
Avatar f tn Vinegar and water works great for cleaning. We got rid of all harsh chemicals for cleaning when I was pregnant with our first. Baking soda and lemon juice also work well.
4251679 tn?1370305531 m not sure what I would use, I think that stuff is a Godsend for cleaning, our old flat had mould on one of the walls from a leak in the roof and we stripped it down after the leak was replaced and scrubbed the wall a couple times with it and we werent bothered by it again after we repainted it.
1969477 tn?1327548419 Yes, and it's bad for the dogs, too. I own a cat and have chemical sensitivities myself. So, this place is only cleaned with natural products. That industrial stuff, if it's still in the air when the dogs and people are there, that's not good for anyone. It's very bad for the people doing the cleaning, too. They need to use other cleaning products. The stuff they're using is too harsh and is dangerous for both the people and the animals.
Avatar f tn I heard it was the ammonia in windex so as long as u get the ammonia free u should be ok but id talk to my dr first
Avatar m tn I know its gross, but I'm 16 and did engaged in unprotected sex with my boyfriend about a week and a half now. My period ended three days ago, and the next day after I experienced a brown discharge, but that ended only for a day. Perhaps that was only for to clean out the left over blood from menstruation. Now yesterday and today I'm having this white, creamy, and very few bubble discharge from my vagina.
Avatar f tn I assume you had a different type of smell prior to noticing this. I have done much reading and research on vaginal odour, as this issue once caused me great anxiety. As it turns out, the feuding over whether or not to ****** is still somewhat alive, although I gather the concensus is that sparingly and in moderation, using a slightly acidic pH (hence dilute vinegar in water) is not terribly harmful.
Avatar f tn My aunt has her owm cleaning company, and usually goes with the workers amd works. She has for her last 3 pregnancies (all the way up to birth) and everything has been fine with her babies.
Avatar f tn t have an air flow so it just sits there with me..
535822 tn?1443976780 White vinegar, baking soda/Bon Ami and castile soap. The castile soap already has essential oils in it and it's concentrated already, so you don't need a lot of it. Just making a paste with either the baking soda or the Bon Ami and castile soap will work like soft soap and still disinfects at the same time. That one container of Dr.
Avatar f tn I have some anxiety and ocd disorders. Not going to go into detail. But my therapist has helped a lot through all of my pregnancies. You could switch to vinegar. It is less toxic, and still cleans just as well. I now use it for my laundry, dishwasher, as a spray cleaner, and to mop with. Do some research on it and see if that helps. It won't smell bad after it dries either. So it doesn't linger in your laundry or when cleaning surfaces.
Avatar n tn I cannot go to the doctor yet, until then would apple cider vinegar be safe to mixed with water and ddouche my vagina? I heard that its anti-septic and kills bacteria. I am assuming since I have no other symptoms that its bacterial vaginosis. I previously had thisi before from leaving an overdue tampon in too long. An its been 21/2 months since i did it again but it never smelled until one month ago.
Avatar f tn yes, I agree. This will not harm you. You realize, much of what you eat has vinegar in it. Vinegar isn't really bad. Things like bleach are inhaled when cleaning and people are fine. So, vinegar won't hurt you.
Avatar f tn You can use pretty much anything to clean your house, even ammonia.
403311 tn?1205951286 We lost the best ear-cleaner in the world - our old dog Chica. :-) She was diligent in keeping her pack members' ears cleaned out every day. She even tried to do the same to me and Hubby. She'd roll her tongue into a tube and start probing away if we weren't alert to her intentions. LOL! Now that she's gone, we have to keep up with cleaning doggy ears at least every month. Hubby's pretty good at it, and the dogs just love it when he gets out the Q-tips and kleenex.
