649848 tn?1534633700 On my profile page, I have checked the box to receive the MH newsletter, but I don't get it. I understand that there was a good video about thyroid in a recent newsletter and would like to find it. Can anyone tell me why I might not get the newsletter, even though I have that box checked? I know of, at least, one other person not getting it, as well. I'm getting other notifications, like I should.

572651 tn?1530999357 I thought you might be interested in reading some of the issues facing your counterparts in the UK. I get their e-newsletter for their incontinence news, but always find other interesting articles to read. Their website is www.nursingtimes.net.
Avatar n tn s book Fasting and Eating for Health and his website (google him). In the newsletter section there is a newsletter with information about success in treating Crohn's with strict dietary modifications. People with other diseases with similar symptoms to Crohn's have also had success on similar diets from what I have read. As you look for answers, you may want to avoid dairy, grains and fatty foods. These are triggers for many people with similar symptoms.
505916 tn?1248792942 We typically only discuss large features that are coming in our newsletter, but not smaller enhancements. We also do not plan on allowing members to edit their posts in the near future. This would cause a lot of confusion for fast-moving discussions where many people comment within a few minutes. Editing your post could cause all subsequent comments to become unintelligible.
Avatar m tn Make sure to use water bottles to rinse out the bag, too- this will keep things clean. You will need to flush 2-3 times to get it clean, but after a few times, it will be completely clean.

Avatar n tn I checked the incision everyday and it appeared to be clean, no redness, no bleeding. She was eating well, had energy. I watched her carefully to ensure that she didn't bite at her stitches. I did notice her licking the incision, but thought nothing of it. 5 days after the surgery, I noticed a clear brown discharge coming from the incision.
645390 tn?1338555377 Our local MS chapter provides a quarterly newsletter, and it is a wonderful resource for me. The Spring newsletter came out today, and my son is in it! For his Bar-Mitzvah this past November, he asked guests to bring items for the "Holiday Bag" program. This is our 3rd year helping with this. It is a wonderful program during the holidays, that volunteers bring bags of all sorts of goodies to people with MS who are either homebound or in nursing-assisted living situations.

793305 tn?1493925518 My schedule has gone bonkers and I just don't get out here as often as I'd like so I apologize if I have missed this conversation and repeating information. My father in law gets a newsletter from Dr Julian Whitaker (spelling?) in California. I know he's well known for some folks. Dad gave me a newsletter about thyroid medicince and it says: Naturethroid is a good possibility or there is something out there called Women's International Pharmacy...
572651 tn?1530999357 Was just looking into this drug last night via MS Ireland's latest newsletter. It actually has European Medicines Agency approval, which it received almost simultaneously with FDA approval. However, as you say, this Reuters piece indicates delays in its actual release in Europe. Though they didn't make it clear what the estimates were based on, the MS Ireland newsletter stated that it should be available for patients in Ireland in late 2014 (c. 18 months).
396482 tn?1221586413 Hi. My name is Zoe and I'm an addict. I'm a member of Narcotics Anonymous and am doing the 12 Steps. I'm 7 1/2 months clean and just finishing Step 8. I no longer have the desire to use drugs or alcohol and I am extremely grateful for this precious gift/miracle. I am working on myself through the 12 Steps. I have very serene days now. Some days, however, it feels like my emotions are taking over my entire self.

Avatar n tn s helpful to change things up a little bit, with respect to your exercise regimen, or even how you approach food. Those late night snacks could definitely be playing a role too. You might find that eating dinner a bit later can help with this, or making a practice to drink plenty of fluids with (or after) dinner. Getting into the habit of enjoying soup and/or salad with dinner has also been shown to reduce appetite over the next several hours - could be worth a try. Keep it up!
Avatar m tn Sign up for his newsletter. It's free and for about 14 days. It gives you an insight into his technique that is really different then others. I've been using it since this summer. For me I'm not all out of the woods but I've made more progress on that program then any other ones and so much more leway then on anti-depressents. See the newsletter and if you like it then you can get the book. That's what I did. The newsletters are free and very helpful.
Avatar n tn The last month I have been eating gluten again. Breads, muffins, chips and pasta. I noticed swelling in my face first, then my feet hurt like before when I HAD neuropathy in my feet. My stomach distended and I felt reflux. I eat nearly a whole box of Wheat grain crackers in one day. All I can say is it was sudden and drastic. It came on me like a storm. Depresson so bad. Warm headed and extremly fatigued. I cried and was feeling useless. It never dawned on me about my diet anymore.
