My problem is I constantly feel hungry. It makes eating something I look forward to more. My question is did it take time for your body to get use to eating less or just following the meals? I get pretty cranky when I constantly feel hungry. And my mood really effects how my family feels for the day! The saying is true.

(You can even get can pineapple and put it in the freezer for an hour or so.. frozen pineapple is delicious!) tuna with crackers, etc.. Do you cook? You don't have to go crazy and gorge just because you are pregnant. But instead, still eat a healthy meal, three times a day with a healthy snack in between.

614508 tn?1265281722 Maybe if you could manage to go a whole night without eating ANYTHING, or maybe just some fruit when your tummy grumbles, then you could start over fresh in the morning with breakfast, and just take it one meal at a time trying to make healthy choices. I doubt a dr would recommend this plan, but it seems to me like it COULD work =) Good luck!
Avatar f tn If you follow the plan which you mentioned, its definitely calorie deficit plan, but I am sure the calories will be less than Your BMR, and its not good to go less than it. You should be eating around your BMR and less than TEE for weight loss. Avatar f tn Everyone is different. I'm allowed 45 carbs per meal snack every 2hrs very few carbs. Test 1hr after meal. No fruit for breakfast or snack. No fruit juice period. That's my meal plan now yours could be different. I've found walking right after really helps bring down the levels. But carbs you have to watch even if it says sugar free.
Avatar n tn Hi, there are some great online keto groups and low carb / paleo groups / pages for meal ideas. I don't typically snack. Breakfast would be eggs done somehow, with either veges, cheese, or meat. I am partial to a good sausage occasionally. Usually washed down with coffee with cream. Lunch and dinner are typically meat and veges of some sort. I do make low carb breads (look up cloud bread or psillium bread for starters), and these are great with cheese, salad, salami, etc.

The only way you're going to know how the foods you consumed affected your glucose [blood sugar] levels is by testing, testing, and more testing. Times to test are; fasting - first thing in morning b4 having any food or colored liquids [plain water is OK]. This will tell you how much stored sugar your liver is dumping during sleep hours. Normal levels are 60/70 - 99 mg/dl or 3.33/3.88 - 5.
Avatar n tn If you start only eating a couple times a week, yeah, for a brief time your body will compensate, but obviously not forever as if you go on like this you become malnourished and you die. Not a good long-term plan. Eating less food takes a while for the body to notice, just as eating more does. Eventually, you will lose weight if you are expending the same amount of energy and taking in less food.

Ever since I have stopped methadone all I wanna do is eat. I do cardio everyday but it's not enough. I started binging and purging about 2 months ago. It started off once a week. Once a day. Avatar n tn I very consistently gained over 75lb with my first and I was actually eating less than I was before I got pregnant. My metabolism just tanked. Make sure your eating good food. Pregnancy meal plan might be good. Or really talk to your doc if your concerned.
Avatar f tn I think with a nutrionist, a meal plan, an excersise plan, and a theripist that specializes in eating disorders you can RECOVER. I understand that your afraid by eating again, and not vommiting that you'll gain weight, and try to understand if your underweight you will gain some weight to be healthy. A meal plan may also make you initally gain weigh but in the long term you will loose that weight if you stay commited to your meal plan, and moderated excersise.
