Avatar f tn He has not taken a tablet since the night before last and is really suffering but is determined not to take another, does anyone out there have any idea how long it takes for these withdrawal symptons to pass as I am realy worried about the affect this is having on his mental health, he has started to say that he would be better off going for a walk with one of his rifles and sadly I am concerned that this is not just talk.
Avatar f tn s now been 4 weeks since I took my last citalopram and nothing has changed. How long can the side effects from the citalopram affect the Wellbutrin?
Avatar m tn So, now she is off the butalbital - cold turkey and says the withdrawal is hell. Does anyone know how long the withdrawal lasts? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar n tn If your hesitant about the sub, then dont use it. If you must use it, then use it sparingly and just to ease the withdrawal a little and help you through it. A little goes a long way with sub, so 25 2mg should be plenty.. prob more than enough... Its important that you know none of us are doctors and only you know what is right for you. Like worried said the best way is seeing a specialist who can help you with this..and dose you properly..
1110049 tn?1409402144 I think you'll get more responses on the anxiety and depression forums. I take it, but a low dose as I started tapering off a long long time ago and had to stop because of health problems that keep coming and I don't want to be in withdrawal facing them. It hasn't worked for me, but it was a long shot since my biggest problem now is what quitting Paxil did to me -- I didn't take it before that.
Avatar f tn All you can do now is go back on it at the last dose at which you felt fine and taper more slowly, or endure it until it ends and hope it does without you becoming conditioned to some new problem. For most people, it does end after a couple weeks, but for a lot, it's much worse. Let's hope you have an easier time as you go on. Try taking a healthy dose of fish oil, it might help with some of the symptoms, and get plenty of exercise and sleep.
Avatar m tn Everyone is different, but for me, the withdrawal symptoms lasted about a week, and peaked in intensity about days 3 and 4! It really does depend on how much and how long, to estimate how strong and long your symptoms will be! If you haven't already done so, please check out the Thomas Recipe at the bottom of the page! There are vitamins and supplements that you can take which will help with the withdrawal symptoms! Drink tons of fluids like water and Gatorade to help flush your system!
Avatar m tn However currently I seem to get shaky as the day goes on, some days are worse than others. How long is this going to last, is there preventative measures I can take? I currently take Celexa for depression but I was shaky before this and the doctor recommended that I increase my dose but it hasn't had any effect on the shaking. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
