After the 2 week period the sexual health clinic advised me to see my general practitioner because the chlamydia should be gone. The gp examined me on April 18th and decided to give me ciprofloxacin which I presume he diagnosed that it is a uti. I had completed the week's course of it and the pain in my epididymitis has changed from a burn to an achy feeling. I decided to get myself tested on April 24th at another facility that was not the clinic.
Sounds like a UTI to me, and it has nothing to do with washing before or after sex.
She needs to see her doctor, though, as she'll need an antibiotic if its a UTI.

I was confident that i was cured of my illness and stopped taking in antibiotics. After a few days, it hurts while peeing when i am dehydrated...
m sure you can safely stop the ciprofloxacin (ciprofloxacin was the wrong treatment for NGU anyway). As uncomfortable the symptoms have been for you, there will be no lasting harm.

Said it seems to be a yeast infection with a possible UTI. They gave me Diflucan one day pill and Ciprofloxacin to take for 10 days. I have 5 days left on the meds. I feel that it's made it feel better but I still have a bit of itching, burning and irritation right around the vulva. I went today for a full STD panel and will get the results soon, but I am freaking out. Also my body is itchy, is this from the Ciprofloxacin ? I just want some answers....arrgghh.
i was about to be cured from Gonorrhea but i skip some dosage of cephalexin, my problem now is i need to switch to CIPROFLOXACIN but i found out that it wasn't working for me some how im one of those patient's who were resistant to it according to the UPDATES on GONORRHEA RESISTANCE... should i go back to cephalexin? my dosage before was 500mg 3x a day...

I had to have a root canal redone as my previous dentist did not get the whole nerve and it became infected. The Dentist put me on amoxicillin 875mg twice a day, after 6 days I called him as it was having no effect. he then put me on clyndamycin 300mg twice a day, this is day two, it seemed better this morning and by this afternoon it isswelling slightly the tissue above my tooth is spongie again and I can tell it's filling with pus.
The azithromycin probably caused the stomach cramps and diarrhea (it's one of the possible side effects of the medication), not an STI.
As for the burning feeling, be sure that it's not psychosomatic. STI's usually cause significant burning (e.g., imagine that you're peeing out gasoline on fire). It's very possible that you have a UTI, which should the ciprofloxacin clear you up fine.
In any case, you don't have an STI - which the tests you took already proved.

About a month ago I began getting symptoms of a sore urthrea at the base of the penis and a sore right testicle. It became worse to the point of painful erection and ejaculation, sometimes for a day afterwards until subsiding. There is no burning during urination or any discharge.
I saw my GP who suspected a UTI and ordered a urine and STI test (Chl & Gon) which came back negative. He also prescribed a 10 day course of ciprofloxacin which alleviated the symptoms.

I have still been experiencing some symptoms of the UTI (they aren't as bad as before) such as a slight burning while I pee and an urge to urinate. However, the pee test that my doctor did came back negative for bacteria the last time I was there and they let me go on my merry way even with my slight symptoms claiming that it could just be irritation and should go away.
He did a urine test with culture found puss cells but no bacteria in culture. Doctor gave me Ciprofloxacin for 7days. Now pain is almost gone but penile discharge is still there.As per doctor it may be Uti. Will penile discharge will go away or should test for STD.

After one week symptoms persisted again so another culture was done and diagnosed with staph infection. Treated with amoxicillin but after one week symptoms still persist. Another culture done and came back contaminated was treated with metronidazole. Now done with prescription and systems still persist. Going to call doctor to see if another analysis/culture.

I have some sore on foreskin of my penis 3months ago, at first i'd go to doctor then he gave me ciprofloxacin, and it's getting better, and i was stopped the dosage, that time the sore is happend again.

Slight indication of infection/soreness at incisor site prior to cipro. Docs not back till tomorrow, do I not ingest todays dosage?
