After the removal I notice drainage from where the infected tooth was. When i went back for my follow up the dentist said I had to just let it do its thing. Well 4 weeks later I went to my doctor who had put me on ciprofloxacin 500mg to get rid of the infection. I have one more day of this medicine and the infection is not completely gone. I have discomfort in my gums and the drainage only happens if i touch around my nose or close to gum and jaw line. What should I do now?
) I haven't had a bladder infection in 20 years! Why now?
I did my research online this seems to be a gum infection and/or abscess of the tooth and very painful for the cat. I've never grabbed this cat, nor will it let me take it somewhere, it moves tries to escape doesn't like to be grabbed. First I experienced slow onset of pain in my right testicle that was ultrasound tested and turned out to be orchitis. I took ciprofloxacin 500 mg 2x day for about a week and that went away. 2 days later the left side started hurting, and I could feel a lump above the testicle. I saw another Dr. and he did a urine test which turned up no UTI and said I had epidymitis and gave me Levofloxacin to go along with Doxycicline that an American Dr. said might help over the phone.
I had the tooth crowned about 6 months after the root canal, and in the process developed an infection that sits on my upper gum. My dentist put me through three rounds of antibiotics, popped the abcess three times now (after removing the crown, opening the nerve canal, popping it and injecting antibiotics into the area). This time, I'm on 250 mg x 2 of ciprofloxacin for 5 days (I was on clindamycin 150 mg x 3 previously all three times for 10 days with only mild results).
i experienced a very painful toothache one day.. i cant bear it so i tried to scan for a pain reliever and an antibiotic. i only found the ciprofloxacin which is prescribed to me when i diagnosed with lower respiratory tract infection.. due to my wants to elliminate the pain, i prescribed my self taking the 500mg ciprofloxacin 3x a day... is there any bad thing that will happen to me? what i have done is good or detrimental to my health?
Since Trichomoniasis is usually treated with the antibiotic Metronidazole, the antibiotics that you have taken would not have cleared the infection if you do indeed have it. You could also ask to be tested for Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma, as these can also cause urethritis and are not routinely tested for.
In 2005 I was told I had silver points (post) and they were leaking and needed to be removed. I took the x-ray of the took to my old stomping grounds to let my "old" dentist remove the silver tips. He looked at the x-ray and said they were not leaking. His analagy was don't fix something that is not broke. He said the silver tips were not leaking. Is the standard of care to remove silver tips regardless? Beliving in his recommendation he did not remove them.
What can I do as antibiotics itself induce infection in me as in case of tooth extraction earlier. Can IC make it harder to go away ? . Can recurrent UTI's make the urogenital muscles/systems very weak as I am getting incontinence after all this.
I noticed this white tongue because one moning when I woke up I had vey dry mouth so I went to check it in the mirror. Later on I started to have 37.2 degree temperature for 6 days (it was coming back to normal at some parts of the day) Here is the story On the 24th of december I went to the dentist to have a root canal treatment on one of my tooth and other work was done on my teeth, the dentist prescribed me Dalacin C 300mg for a week in order to avoid any infections.
Also, and on the flip side, you said you don't have a fever, which is also unusual for this kind of infection. I guess, though, that the antibiotics could have helped with the systemic infection, and just weren't effective on your symptoms. Who knows? I'm anxious to hear your findings, so please let me know.
I will try to follow as much as I can the dietary advice and I will take an appointment with the dentist to rule out the rotten tooth option. for the culture and sensitivity test, after researching the internet this normally covers any bacterial for fungus infections. If so, so I do not have candida? please find a link concerning such test http://www.medicalhealthtests.com/pathology-test/throat-culture-test.
A Mexican doctor said I have colitis, a kidney infection, monilia, an ear infection, and a viral infection. He suggested Lidamidine, ciprofloxacin, Itraconazole, cipro ear drops, and Acyclovir. US doctors usually have no training in parasitology, and unless you have AIDS they don't know about viruses either. I think we need to seek medical advice elsewhere.
I've been dealing with this same problem, which all started after a dentist prescribed me the antibiotic Clindamycin for a tooth, for over 2 months now (since June 8, 2010). I've only had a few days in these months (usually when my stress levels were low) where I did not have soft stools. I have the bloated pressure in my abdomen, which is relatively constant. Sometimes I have gas, which I think is good because it seems to alleviate the pressure temporarily.
ive had a pretty serious ear infection for over a year now. i had the never ending itchy cycle.. infection, itch, scratch, reinfect etc etc. i would have so much fluid in my ear that id go deaf for days at a time. i tried anti-biotics but it didnt work. i tried vinegar.. didnt work, rubbing alcohal.. didnt work, hydrogen peroxide.. didnt work, neosporin.. didint work, i even used tough actin tinactin.. didnt work. needless to say i was so desperate i pretty much tried everything possible.
In February of this year I got a CT scan and the ENT doctor said I have a severe deviated septum with chronic sinusitis. I was treated for a sinus infection and that was it. I still felt bad so I went to a neurologist. He wrote it off as a vestibular problem. I did vestibular therapy for 2 months with almost no relief. In May when allergy season started, everything got worse. I have had nonstop sinus pressure/pain, headache, dizziness, major eye strain, my face is sore, my teeth are sore.
I have been smelling exhaust fumes where none exist for about 2 weeks now. I can be in the shower or laying in bed and the smell won't go away, it smells like i'm in an enclosed garage with a gas powered vehicle running. Is this common?, I have never had any allergies.
I know the problem is all from one source but seem to get no sound advice from the medical world. This problem has gone on for nearly a year now and came on originally for now apparent reason. I am starting physio soon in hopes that will help, but I am skeptical as the pain is not at all present once I have been up and active through out the day. I wish I could be the guy to actually offer some insight into this problem that a few of us seem to be experiencing, but...
March 4th so we will see. I am posting my updates since I think it is important for other people looking for some sort of answers to see what they may end up going through.

I'm 24 now--the first time I ever had an anxiety episode was in college when I was about 19 and I had started taking advair and singulair for the first time for my asthma/allergies. I'm still convinced that that's what has opened the floodgates for me, so to speak. As far as anxiety disorders go, different things can trigger the onset of them if you have a genetic predisposition for it, and for me that's what it was and I've had a problem with it ever since.
I have been for numerous checks, doctors declaring IBS, testing for endometriosis (family history) and putting me on Yasmin (a contraseptive pill which will apparently stop symptoms.) This is because what I have noticed is that my symptoms, although constant, appear to worsen to great heaights during my menstrual cycle. I wondered if you have this same problem? Like you my outbursts are frequent, yet random including a feeling of acidity, nausea, diarroea, lethargy, trembling and cold sweats.
I found a person on the MSN body odor support forum who had a bad odor for a long time and then the odor went away after being treated for H. Pylori, but then the coughing and sneezing started after that. Interesting. Another person on the MSN board said he was also treated for H. Pylori and then the coughing/sneezing started! Question: Do any of you burp a lot? Here is a thread that should be read: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=561071#i Read the replies to that link also.
