Hi guys need your advice, i have just came back from malaysia and had watery stools for a week. Just visited the doctor and she gave me ciprofloxacin antibiotics for five days. My diarrhea still persists. She claimed its a bacteria infection.
The doctor prescribed me amoxilin, an antibiotic for medication. He said the chest pain could be from a cold. They're hoping its not a infection in my lungs. My stomach pains are almost gone, but the chest pains are still remaining, and my cold symptoms worsened. I'm waiting until tomorrow to see how I feel, then i will decide whether to get a xray for my chest.
Thanks I went to the ER and they believe it's a bad case of tonsillitis. They gave me a stronger antibiotic for a few days. Fingers crossed!
i had a ultrasound done with nothing wrong with me. 3 doctors say i dont have a hernia and 1 thought it was epeditas i took ciprofloxacin for 2 weeks at this time the pain was around for about a month i took it for 2 weeks and the last 2 days the pain felt like it went down. i took a urin test and std blood test all were negative. during the ciprofloxacin i had anal itching which went away ounce i was done with the pills i dont know if thats from the pills or not.
m sure you can safely stop the ciprofloxacin (ciprofloxacin was the wrong treatment for NGU anyway). As uncomfortable the symptoms have been for you, there will be no lasting harm.

I went back to see a Dr and he had the test back... normal. They also prescribed Ciprofloxacin, which I took for 10 days, with no change. They sent me for more blood work and urine test, including PSA, which all came back normal. I also had my prostate examined, normal.
After all this, I went to see an Urologist who just thought I must have an std and prescribed me Doxycycline for 14 days. As well as swabs from inside the penis.
I am worried because after 8days I had cold and fever for2days. The cold and cough lasted for more than 2weeks for which I have to take clavox and then ciprofloxacin . After that I had severe attack of stomach upset followed by abdominal floating gas frequency for passing stools and I believe anal sores also.. I am already diagnosed for ibs and piles before.. but even after taking tablets for Ibsen. I still have the stomach problems. Do I have to check for hiv now...
When approached Gyneocologist and they have prescribed to take Thyroxine 100 ug for 2 months. In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro.
Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now?

I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily.
