Common Questions and Answers about Cialis not working

cialis

Avatar m tn When we are turned on and I start to stimulate her with my fingers or tongue, my erection disappears even if I took Cialis. When I’m not on Cialis I can‘t maitain an erection regarding any sexual activities with my GF sometimes I can but it is not very strong. I can maintain strong lasting erection when I’m alone - watching porn, I could do that few times a day and I have never had problem with this.
Avatar m tn PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) are safe and very effective but results may vary. I've been taking Cialis for over a year with excellent results and no relevant side effects. I also tried Levitra and it worked fine but Cialis is my favorite. Everyone is different, though: some men prefer Levitra, others prefer Cialis or Viagra.
Avatar n tn No pain or anything but it took about 2 weeks to all go away then it never did it again until 7 months later after taking cialis and it was the same as before but in a different place then 4 months later after taking cialis again it did the same thing with the same symptoms etc, it has only happened after taking viagra or cialis and I have only taken it 3 times and all 3 times this happened. Is this some kind of reaction i'm having with whatever substance they make this stuff with?
Avatar n tn I dont masturbate often, but when i wake up early (6 am) then about 60% of the time i wake up rock hard and it takes a while to go down even though im not remotely aroused!, thats wether i have taken cialis or not. Its when i come to perform with my partner that ive had problems in the past (about fifty percent of the time) Anyone got any idea whats going on? Thanks.
612551 tn?1450022175 Cialis may, even a higher mg of Viagra may. First understand the way these work are not instant unless you have been taking the Cialis daily for a few days. For some people it can take several hours before they respond to them. For these people the effect normally will go for longer. I suggest you check out the time table for yourself and take them accordingly.
Avatar f tn So my man has trouble with ED and he takes Cialis, for a long time he never needed them for regular nightly sex, only for the kinky longer (no kids home) funner sex. Sooooo my problem is we never have sex and even with the Cialis he can't seem to perform. I have tried everything... Oral, hand all kinds. I cannot marry someone that clearly finds me unattractive. I was already in a marriage like that. Oh and to top it off around friends he makes like I am saying no to sex all the time.
Avatar n tn t know where to post this question, someone knows if pde5 inhibitors and specifically tadalafil (cialis) are reversible enzyme inhibitors? and can you explain why from a chemical and pharmacological point of view? So, is the inhibition reversible or irreversible and why? I know it is not an easy question but I can't find on the internet this answer.
Avatar n tn why can I not split my Cialis dose? I have lots of 20mg tablet but I found out that 5mg daily is better to keep from muscle atrophy happening.
Avatar m tn Ask your doctor and/or the pharmacist, but as long as you give the drugs time to clear your system and you don't have any reasons you shouldn't be taking either of them, I see no problem with it. I think it would be like taking ibuprofen some days and naproxen other days.
Avatar m tn I am working on stress now, but not seeking professional help yet. Taking melatonin, chamomile tea, comedy movies, exercise, enough sleep. Will see if this helps.
Avatar n tn I would get an erection but a thought would pop into my head that Im not performing well and it would go down. Somehow Cialis started to work for me again and its been successful. Now my question, is this the medication, or indeed performance anxiety or just anxiety and stress? I also have been stressing and obsessing about post ssri sexual dysfunction. Im obsessing too much and its out of control I cant relax.
Avatar f tn //www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/drugs-cialis-dosage#factors-affecting-dosage If it is determined that cialis isn't going to work for you, there are other treatments. Certainly more will be done to help you. By the way, is there an origin that is known for your ED? Often psychological help along the way can be beneficial too. But if cialis or viagra don't work for you, there are second line treatments to explore.
Avatar f tn If as you say there not working the try herbs, look youdont give an age, me I'm an oldie 64 coming 64, so I'm on DHEA, but you must read about first and see how this fits with you, then there is the cayenne, garlic, green tea and ginger, these last 4 all help in getting blood down below, you can Google them all and just add ED on the end of them, then there is borax look at that on earthclinic under ED, and tribulus this is something I'm just starting to take as they say it sits well
Avatar f tn It's not so much my libido that's dropped, it's that I've noticed that in the last year or so, I get aroused just fine, and can get an erection, but sometimes during sex I have trouble maintaining the erection. Not sure if that's just aging or metoprolol side effect. I'm 33 though, so not old. I asked the doctor about it and he said we could try Cardizem.
Avatar m tn my testosterone level is 362. im not sure if that is good or bad? I was obese and started working on it a few months ago. im not sure if that had something to do with it. now im 197 lbs at 5'11" tall. my urologist prescribed me anti-depressants which i have been taking for a few weeks now but still no help and i really want to get off of them. ive never had a stress problem so im not sure why im on these pills but i would really appreciate someones help asap.
Avatar f tn Well, the good news is you're still having morning erections, so that's a good sign that the equipment is still working to some degree. It could be that you've become too stressed out about NOT getting erections when you want, and that's putting stress on you & the more you worry about it, the worse it gets. Stress is an absolute killer for erections. I think you should see your regular Dr. first, explain what's going on.
Avatar n tn I just looked at several websites about this and only found 2 answers. One, there IS a cialis made for women. Two, women should not take cialis for men. No reason was given. Sorry that's all I have for you.
1396517 tn?1500880649 I'm type 2 diabetic and overweight and have not had any erection problems until this year when during foreplay I'd be as hard as a rock, but go soft just before insertion... my wife has been understanding, but it has been frustrating. My Doctor said that erection problems are more common than people think - especially for people over 40 and she could prescribe a generic 'Cialis' if need be but I was too embarrassed to take up the offer.
Avatar f tn d have to talk to your doctor or his staff to define your personal situation with using Cialis with your other meds. Besides Metoprolol, Lexapro may or may not have sexual side effects, depending upon the individual.
Avatar m tn The doctor also performed a penile test and established the fact that the blood flow was found to be normal after injecting in the penis. Cialis has certainly helped but the effects are not the same always. Kindly suggest what to do,please. I hope that there is something that can help me.Thank you.
Avatar m tn Every remedy they tried worked for a few months and then stopped working. These included yohimbine, testosterone injections, Viagra (never worked at all), and direct penile injections. The last worked really great for about a year but even that stopped working. I gave up about 10 years ago. I still have a strong libido and can ejaculate several times a week, just no erections. Has anything new been developed since then?
Avatar m tn That's a good question. Why not try gradually reducing the doses you're taking & see if at each slightly reduced level, you're still able to achieve good erections. Sometimes guys just need a little 'help' to boost their confidence & then once they realize things are still working OK, they can get off the meds. This can apply to Rx drugs like Viagra, Levitra or Cialis as well - just getting the confidence back is sometimes enough...
