Common Questions and Answers about Cialis and diabetes

cialis

Avatar n tn It completely detached and in a few weeks, the line and floaters went a away ( mostly ). I have no other issue ie. diabetes, pressure, glaucoma. Is it dangerous to use drugs like Cialis or Viagra with a PVD?
Avatar f tn I have found that an extremely high proportion of of men with grade 2 diabetes have a low testosterone level which can cause ED. Also, it appears, cialis and viagara have little or no effect in these cases. You may have cracked my problem. I am consulting my doctor today regarding this. I'll let you know the results of the tests I will undoubtedly have to take. Thanks for all your help and kindly reassurances.
Avatar f tn Before I caught up with him the first time he mentioned to me he had problems with ED and was taking Cialis. This had been happening for the last 15 years in his life. When I saw him for the first time, he was able to achieve erections with no problem but had difficulty ejaculating. He did a couple of times with a lot of help from me. Forward 5 months and we catch up again and this time he could not achieve any erection whatsoever even though he was still taking the Cialis.
Avatar m tn After all, sex with a partner is new, and anything new is terribly exciting. As you age, you'll find that erections sometimes take longer, and even come and go. This is not an indication if ill health, but just part of life. Our society does a terrible disservice to men by raising them to think that their penis has to be 10 inches long, hard as a rock and last all night. It’s no wonder that many men feel insecure about their sexuality.

Avatar m tn Libido/ sex drive has a multi-factorial involvement and diabetes may not be the only factor involved. Though diabetes, particularly with high blood sugars could result in a low sex drive; other issues such as stress, anxiety, nutritional deficiencies, fatigue, anemia, a few medications/drugs, hormonal imbalance etc may need to be ruled out as well; before prescribing empirical cialis.
Avatar f tn It upsets me to no and all my endo suggested was to use cialis. I feel this is a mask to the problem and I don't see a permanent solution in sight. I don't want any relationships because I just wouldn't know how to break it to my partner. It's tearing me up inside and it's all I worry about.
Avatar m tn Usually male impotency treatment drugs other than Cialis do not work on diabetes patients but Cialis is very effective even for those who have Type I and Type II diabetes mellitus. However, you cannot use Cialis without the permission of the doctor. Self medication with Cialis online should strictly be avoided as it can be dangerous.
Avatar n tn Should a 71 year old man with Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes, and High Blood Pressure be using Viagra for ED? He is on Rx's for all these conditions. He got ED because of the meds we think. A doctor gave him a sample of Viagra and he's afraid to use it. Should he NOT use it? Thanks!
Avatar m tn Saw a men's health doc about a year ago who straight up told me I'm too young to get ED and prescribed Cialis to get my confidence up. The Cialis works incredible, I get over 48 hours out of it. I've run the course of the prescription and the last few times with my GF have been back to the ED days. Even masturbating I can't really get hard enough to where I can sustain a good erection, which makes me wonder how much of this is performance anxiety or a biological issue.
Avatar m tn Please help and guide how to overcome the problem of low sex desire due to diabetes type2? Some inject able like or some multivitamins containing zinc will be helpful?
Avatar m tn The few risk factors of erectile dysfunction are advanced age, diabetes mellitus, smoking, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, nerve or spinal cord damage, depression and anxiety etc. The few common side effects of Flomax are abnormal ejaculation, decreased sex drive, runny or stuffy nose, or sore throat. Your physician will determine the best option based upon your evaluation and medical history. Keep me posted. Best luck and regards!
Avatar n tn I have high blood pressure and diabetes and believe this affects blood flow to penis for normal erection. I have heard of TV advertisements about Levitra for those with high blood pressure and diabetes. Would that be effective or is some other medicine or herb more effective? I have had no effect with Viagra or Cialis, but perhaps the dosage was too low. By masterbating I will get an ejaculation eventually but I never get "hard". Also, prostate trouble runs among males in my family.
Avatar m tn can vitamin B12 help circulation or vasodilators like cialis/viagra?
Avatar n tn I take it your on meds for your diabetes. You'll have to ask your Dr if you can safely take Cialis. Some meds can't be taken together and some meds can't be taken with certain medical conditions. Be safe and ask your Dr.
Avatar f tn Erections are few and far between...and only with a lot of work from the wife and/or cialis. My doctor says don't worry about it...you have ED and wants me to go on daily cialis. I worry that there's a issue with bloodflow, nerve damage, something still wrong or damaged in the prostate or possibly some other problem that's causing the issues in the penis to persist. My Doc says...he doesn't want to take my money...live with it and take cialis.
Avatar f tn i am pretty sure my husband has diabetes ...he has increased thirst.fatigue and cannot get an erection since he has started having dizzy symptoms...i am so scared and he is over weight.
Avatar m tn You've had ED for 10 years and taking Cialis. I am curious what your doctor told you 10 years ago and when he prescribed Cialis. 21 was a young age to have ED. I wonder if the body gets used to the drugs and eventually they are not so effective, and then they should not be taken on a daily basis but used only when necessary. Your diabetes is a factor, also. I would advise you to work with a urologist, and if you have, go to another as a second opinion.
Avatar n tn It has happened before and do not want to go through it again. I talked to my doc and she perscribed Cialis to combat my problem. Problem solved right?? Well, I am not fully into using the viagras of the world to help because I never experienced anything like this before being perscribed the antid's. Is this my only option while on these meds?? I tried switching to Remeron but that made me very sleepy. Lexepro is working great other than this BIG problem in my mind.
1709926 tn?1308129727 First, your glucose [blood sugar] is in need of better control, the numbers you posted are high and unhealthy. Uncontrolled diabetes leads to unwanted health issues such as erectile dysfunction [impotence]. Men with diabetes tend to develop erectile dysfunction 10-15 years early than men without diabetes. You can discuss with your doctor oral medications such as Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra.
Avatar f tn The stuff helped me through this and I can maintain an erection through the intercourse. I tried Viagra and Cialis and all others but I don't want to die of a hearth attach while having a hard-on. I wanted natural organic stuff. potemix is the one I got from my brother and along with a better lifestyle (more exercise and cutting some bad stuff from my diet) I can do it again. don't get killed over this by some T-shot and Viagra certainly is not a long term solution.
Avatar m tn 1. VERY low libido 2. difficulties obtaining and maintaining an erection, 3. mild depression 4. sleeping problems (but have always had sleep issues) 5. emotional -- more affected by sadness on tv shows to the point of tears (!) 6. more joint/muscle pain than before 7. I still get night time erections, but in the morning, they disappear, and it takes a lot to get me excited -- even though morning sex was my preferred time for my entire life.
Avatar m tn hello everyone, I am a 20 year old male who has been masturbating since a very young age( maybe 9 years old). I used to masturbate everyday when i was younger, and still masturbate every other day on average but i prolong my masturbation, so i do it for hours. Now my penis has gotten sore and i only get weak erections. I feel like the harder the erection becomes the more sore it gets, so it stays really soft.
Avatar n tn Before therapy, coinciding with HCV progression, and continuing through tx. 4. ED improved during and/or after therapy 5. No problems before tx, and no problems during or after tx. Please let us know if you have noticed any of the above. It would be very helpful to determine if there are any trends or similar experiences. A great weekend to all!!
Avatar m tn I also use to suffer from extreme and constant fatigue and loss of strength. I no longer have the fatigue problem and my strength is back thanks to Testosterone Therapy having boosted my T levels to about 780. Even so I still suffer from the ED. I can achieve about a 3/4 errection but never a fully very hard erection. The one I do achieve require much effort on my part ,if not I will loose the errection as quick as it came.
Avatar m tn Visit with Urologist - He acted like I was crazy and had me take a diabetes test, which came back fine. Visits with new PCP - She was the most helpful and truly was looking for a resolution. She ordered a couple tests for which the results were supposedly normal, prescribed me a dozen viagra to try out, and referred me to a psychologist specializing in sexual problems.
Avatar m tn factor #2 I have used cialis before several times and if I use it correctly (taking 5mg daily) I would get perfect erections. Without medicine, my penis usually does not stand upright on its own and erections aim downward. factor #3 When I masturbate, my penis would get fully erect (to the point that I want to orgasm) and if I choose not to ejaculate right away my penis would start to go down INSTANTLY after ceasing stimulation.
936016 tn?1332769204 Luckily things really have changed and mainly with the meteoric arrival of the drug Viagra and then its relatives Cialis and Levitra. These drugs heralded the notion that although there might be a physical or a psychological problem, it was solvable and reliably so, by taking the medications. The arrival of these medications also opened the box of shame and enabled men to discuss the issues rather more openly.
Avatar m tn Loss of feeling in bladder, difficulty knowing when I need to pee. Loss of feeling in stomach and associated loss of hunger and fullness feelings. Headaches and inability to focus. Exhaustion and requiring large amounts of sleep. Tingling hands and feet. Difficulty going to the bathroom but it feels like food just passes straight through me. (August 2013)Three years ago I was masturbating when I suddenly heard a snap. The day after, I could not achieve a full erection.
