Common Questions and Answers about Cialis and diabetes

cialis

Avatar m tn ve had ED for 10 years and taking Cialis. I am curious what your doctor told you 10 years ago and when he prescribed Cialis. 21 was a young age to have ED. I wonder if the body gets used to the drugs and eventually they are not so effective, and then they should not be taken on a daily basis but used only when necessary. Your diabetes is a factor, also. I would advise you to work with a urologist, and if you have, go to another as a second opinion.
Avatar m tn The few risk factors of erectile dysfunction are advanced age, diabetes mellitus, smoking, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, nerve or spinal cord damage, depression and anxiety etc. The few common side effects of Flomax are abnormal ejaculation, decreased sex drive, runny or stuffy nose, or sore throat. Your physician will determine the best option based upon your evaluation and medical history. Keep me posted. Best luck and regards!
Avatar f tn i am pretty sure my husband has diabetes ...he has increased thirst.fatigue and cannot get an erection since he has started having dizzy symptoms...i am so scared and he is over weight.
Avatar f tn I have found that an extremely high proportion of of men with grade 2 diabetes have a low testosterone level which can cause ED. Also, it appears, cialis and viagara have little or no effect in these cases. You may have cracked my problem. I am consulting my doctor today regarding this. I'll let you know the results of the tests I will undoubtedly have to take. Thanks for all your help and kindly reassurances.
Avatar n tn t touched his wife because he cannot get an erection, and he got the Cialis to see if it would make a difference, and it hasn't yet. It could also be for the other things Cialis is prescribed for. (It's not just for erectile dysfunction.) Good luck to her in figuring it out.

Avatar m tn how about these supplements effect diabetes? i have type 2...and i'm worried about it interfering with it...
Avatar m tn I went to see many urologists throughout the past few years, many whom simply prescribed me viagra and cialis which were somewhat working in the past but not to its full potential. The last urologist I saw made me go through some blood tests, all of which came back positive so no issues with testosterone or diabetes.
Avatar m tn Please help and guide how to overcome the problem of low sex desire due to diabetes type2? Some inject able like or some multivitamins containing zinc will be helpful?
Avatar m tn I don't have ED but I was curious if my erections could be stronger. I spoke with my doctor and tried Cialis and Viagra. Since they have much different half-lives, I thought I'd try the following: Taking 10-20 mg Cialis every 2-3 days, then taking 20-40 mg Viagra (generic sildenafil) before sexual activity. My questions isn't whether this is effective - it certainly is. But is there any risk to doing this? I moved so I don't have a doctor right now.
Avatar f tn Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition in which a man has difficulty getting or maintaining an erection. It can be caused by physical or emotional problems. Physical problems include heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure. Emotional problems include stress, anxiety, and depression. If you are experiencing ED symptoms, see your doctor right away for diagnosis and treatment options.
Avatar n tn Met my wife 6 months ago again performance anxiety, took cialis and it worked until I made a decision to try celexa for two weeks and I dont know if it was my anxiety or fear or did it really kill my sex drive. Viagra or Cialis didnt work. Went back on Luvox up to 150mg and Neurontin 300mg 2x a day.I would get an erection but a thought would pop into my head that Im not performing well and it would go down. Somehow Cialis started to work for me again and its been successful.
Avatar m tn The Cialis only started working about 3 and a half hours after taking it. Then it lasted for 2 or maybe 3 days. In that time it was easy to get it up. I would recommend it (on it's own) and I would say it's better than Levitra.
Avatar m tn I would talk to your doctor about cialis. My husband takes it and it works like a charm. It is not like you have to take it and be ready to go that minute. It works for up to 36 hours so you can take it and when mood is right, you will be ready to go.
Avatar n tn t been able to get or hold erections....not often but enough that it bothers me. I have tried all kinds of drugs...viagra, cialis, over the counter stuff....they work but I don't like the side effects or having to use chemicals. Is there anything natural out there that gives you that extra sex drive you need to ensure you always get and hold a good erection...or should I just assume I will have that problem because I am getting older...I don't want to lose it.
Avatar n tn First step is he needs to control and manage his diabetes. How or what he's is doing is unknown since you didn't provide us with any information to work with. Take him to a doctor and ask for Viagra or Cialis. Also, try posting on Sexual Health, Erectile Dysfunction, and Mens Health forums.
Avatar n tn I just looked at several websites about this and only found 2 answers. One, there IS a cialis made for women. Two, women should not take cialis for men. No reason was given. Sorry that's all I have for you.
Avatar m tn t drink alcohol while taking medicine but I have in the past drink a little just to relax my nerves and also taken the cialis and as you can see I am still alive telling you my story. however, I take cialis because I believe I have a venous leak. If you're not experiencing a venous leak with your penis, then you don't need to take cialis.
