Common Questions and Answers about Cialis and alcohol

cialis

Avatar n tn Both are better viagra have its on quality as cialis also have its unique quality. Both drugs work essentially the same way and both have similar side effects. I think Cialis may work a little faster in some people and may be less sensitive to food or alcohol intake.
Avatar m tn t drink alcohol while taking medicine but I have in the past drink a little just to relax my nerves and also taken the cialis and as you can see I am still alive telling you my story. however, I take cialis because I believe I have a venous leak. If you're not experiencing a venous leak with your penis, then you don't need to take cialis.
Avatar n tn t touched his wife because he cannot get an erection, and he got the Cialis to see if it would make a difference, and it hasn't yet. It could also be for the other things Cialis is prescribed for. (It's not just for erectile dysfunction.) Good luck to her in figuring it out.

Avatar m tn About 1 year ago I had a priapism episode after a bit of an overdose of Cialis (maybe 40 mg) and alot of alcohol. At the time the Cialis was mostly for reassurance and not that necessary. My guess is that I had an 8 to 10 hour erection that went away on its own without medical intervention. Definitely a strange feeling after that incident for quite awhile... a sensation of slight penis discomfort that I never had before.
Avatar f tn Ive tried viagra and cialis. Viagra did nothing, cialis maybe 50% of the time. We love each other very much and are both very commited and faithful. We have tried EVERYTHING. This frustrates me and makes me feel less of man. Ive looked for her my entire life and cant do anything for her. Any advice would help. Is levitra any better? Im afraid this is going to drive her away (Although, she says it wont.

Avatar f tn t have high blood pressure, just tachycardia and the metoprolol really helps keep that in check. Should I just stay on metoprolol and try the cialis and see how it works or should I try the cardizem?
Avatar m tn I had a sexual incounter with a young lady and the condom broke, i got nervous and poured rubbing alcohol down my penis, since then i have seen and felt a difference in my penis size and response. Please help with counter plan.
1396517 tn?1500880649 I'm type 2 diabetic and overweight and have not had any erection problems until this year when during foreplay I'd be as hard as a rock, but go soft just before insertion... my wife has been understanding, but it has been frustrating. My Doctor said that erection problems are more common than people think - especially for people over 40 and she could prescribe a generic 'Cialis' if need be but I was too embarrassed to take up the offer.
Avatar m tn The urologists did a quick visual inspection of penis felt around and said it all looked good, and then just prescribed Cialis. I was frustrated with the doctors that they just prescribed the Cialis and could never tell me exactly what was causing the ED. That is why I got a few more opinions. Perhaps they just figured it was my age? Anyway I gave up on trying to figure out why and cure it and just started taking the Cialis.
Avatar m tn I don't have ED but I was curious if my erections could be stronger. I spoke with my doctor and tried Cialis and Viagra. Since they have much different half-lives, I thought I'd try the following: Taking 10-20 mg Cialis every 2-3 days, then taking 20-40 mg Viagra (generic sildenafil) before sexual activity. My questions isn't whether this is effective - it certainly is. But is there any risk to doing this? I moved so I don't have a doctor right now.
Avatar n tn 'there has been one occasion that penetration was possible until climax, but I was intoxicated' This is not surprising. Did you take any alcohol? There are studies that show that small amounts of alcohol may improve erections and libido. I have tried it a few times and it really helped. I'm not an expert but I believe that alcohol may act centrally and activate some areas of the brain responsible for sexual function.
Avatar n tn Met my wife 6 months ago again performance anxiety, took cialis and it worked until I made a decision to try celexa for two weeks and I dont know if it was my anxiety or fear or did it really kill my sex drive. Viagra or Cialis didnt work. Went back on Luvox up to 150mg and Neurontin 300mg 2x a day.I would get an erection but a thought would pop into my head that Im not performing well and it would go down. Somehow Cialis started to work for me again and its been successful.
Avatar m tn The Cialis only started working about 3 and a half hours after taking it. Then it lasted for 2 or maybe 3 days. In that time it was easy to get it up. I would recommend it (on it's own) and I would say it's better than Levitra.
Avatar m tn stress ,anxiety, depression; too much of alcohol ,smoking ;injury to pelvic area etc. I suggest you should avoid alcohol and smoking if you have habit. You should also consult a urologist and get these causes ruled out. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar m tn I would talk to your doctor about cialis. My husband takes it and it works like a charm. It is not like you have to take it and be ready to go that minute. It works for up to 36 hours so you can take it and when mood is right, you will be ready to go.
Avatar n tn t been able to get or hold erections....not often but enough that it bothers me. I have tried all kinds of drugs...viagra, cialis, over the counter stuff....they work but I don't like the side effects or having to use chemicals. Is there anything natural out there that gives you that extra sex drive you need to ensure you always get and hold a good erection...or should I just assume I will have that problem because I am getting older...I don't want to lose it.
Avatar n tn I just looked at several websites about this and only found 2 answers. One, there IS a cialis made for women. Two, women should not take cialis for men. No reason was given. Sorry that's all I have for you.
Avatar n tn I was searching to see if there might be any interaction between the medications and Cialis and in doing so found that sudden hearing loss is a potential rare side effect to Cialis and similar medications. By this time it has been more than two weeks since the onset of the hearing loss and I cannot remember precisely but I believe that I may have last taken one Cialis tablet within 24 hours before the earache hearing problem.
Avatar m tn Hello, I have read in a few websites that there is an increased risk of priapism in patients who take ED drugs like Cialis/Viagra/Levitra and who also have (among other conditions) Sickle Cell Disease and/or Beta Thalassemia. It's not clear to me whether Beta Thalassemia Minor (my condition) also increases that risk.I could not find much information about it.
Avatar f tn See if the Cialis works. Hopefully, it will. If not, allow your significant other to give you a slow hand job to see if you can hold an erection until ejaculation. You should be sexually active with only your partner and not viewing porn and masturbating on your own to avoid using up all of your sexual energy.
Avatar m tn ve had ED for 10 years and taking Cialis. I am curious what your doctor told you 10 years ago and when he prescribed Cialis. 21 was a young age to have ED. I wonder if the body gets used to the drugs and eventually they are not so effective, and then they should not be taken on a daily basis but used only when necessary. Your diabetes is a factor, also. I would advise you to work with a urologist, and if you have, go to another as a second opinion.
