Avatar m tn Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique.

Avatar f tn What is the best pain relief to take when you have Hep C ? I am not on treatment at this time and i have chronic back problems as well as the pains and fatigue associated with the virus.
Avatar n tn Hi, Last year, I developed a headache along the back of my head that radiated up my right side of my head. The doctor said it was a tension headache. It lasted for a month and then was gone. I had a membership to a spa and had massages about 3 days each week. About a year to date, the headaches returned. they returned around a high stress period; my son was hospitalized.
Avatar f tn in this book i was reading it says it straight out: ladies, your boyfriend/husband/whatever DOES masturbate. and it goes on to explain that men instinctually are drawn to variety because they are instinctually out there to procreate. if i man masturbates a lot, he's not going to be cheating on you. the book also pointed out a good point that has to do with what your husband says about "stress relief," in that sex takes time.
Avatar m tn However in fairness to him he may not have a lot of understanding about chronic pain and the challenges that it brings to our lives. Some ppl simply cannot understand something they have never experienced and unfortunately that includes physicians. It is also true that many PCP do not have the experience in PM medications and how when prescribed correctly they can be beneficial. It is a statistical fact that less than 4% of chronic pain suffers ever become addicts.
370181 tn?1595629445 Hi there, It sounds to me like you need to find another doctor or a pain management clinic who will work with you on finding the best pain relief options, including careful use of opioids. It seems to me you've exhausted all other options and your research is solid. If it were me, I would "fire" the doctor who refuses to treat you as a partner in your own treatment.
Avatar m tn Wish I could help more with other pain management options as I suffer from chronic pain myself. There is a pain management forum here on med help. Maybe try and post your question there and I'm sure you will get plenty of support! Here's the link.... http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Pain-Management/show/53?camp=msc Best of luck to you!
1272082 tn?1343103540 What does anyone take for chronic pain issues? Also, what do you take when it's a severe pain--like a broken foot/leg that will be painful for a long time. The pain meds are making my POTS allot worse. I've tried Demoral with Phenagan and Tramadol. Tramadol is the least problematic, but is causing bad POTS issues. I tried not using anything, but can't take the pain. I broke all the bones and my ankles off. Have 10 screws and a plate.
Avatar f tn I am 41, not over weight, I smoke and have been under a great deal of stress, (just lost my job I was in for 16 yrs and my very healthy active father just had open heart surgery, YES I have some stress all at once) @ a month ago I started having severe heart burn (i guess) I have never had anything like this. I bought some otc prilosec and have been taking it for 7 days with some relief but still is very painful, I would say it is moderate. I have also been eating hand fulls of tums.
Avatar f tn There is some research that links chronic stress to the body releasing the labour starting hormones but my dr said its more likely just to increase your blood pressure and make you unwell making intervention more necessary. Try to relax as much as possible and just think in the next 1-3wks you'll be cuddling your baby!
Avatar f tn I found out I am pregnant again and am 6wks 5days. I am terrified. Any tips on how to reduce anxiety and stress due to my last experience?
