teen challenge is a great christian rehab. GOD is the only one who can break the bondage of addiction. it is a life long battle. ny husband went into a christian program 2 weeks ago. first they send him to a detox for 5 days, he was on methadone, and has high blood pressure. he needed the detox in the hospital for a short time. now he
has been in the christian rehab for 10 days. he is still very sick. hasnt eaten or slept in 2 weeks, very weak and feels like he was hit by a mack truck.
I was in rehab for the first time in March. Was only there for 2 weeks because I found out I was pregnant about a week into treatment. They tested me when I got there but the results didn't come back until 7 days into treatment. I was already out of detox. So I chose to stay clean and not get back on anything. They wanted to put me back on methadone which is what they used to wean me off the oxy contin.
I live in north Ga & the closest birthing center is a 2hour drive to Tn. Anyone ever do something similar? Which state should I apply for insurance?
Atlanta (CNN) -- A North Georgia chapter of the Ku Klux Klan has applied to "adopt" a stretch of highway in Union County, Georgia, according to paperwork obtained by CNN on Monday.

My brother admitted himself to a rehab facility after being in the hospital. Now my mom went to get him out they are saying they will now transfer him to a long term facility because he used the word 'shoot'. As in a gun. He wants out. My mother wants him out. What are our options. this is in Georgia, we want to bring him back to California. Please help!!

is there any arrests involved ? i am not sure about the laws in georgia but in nj i sent my son to rehab when he was 17 and he had to stay it was a part of his sentence. when he went before the judge for his drug possession i asked that he be released to a drug rehab and he was. thank god he stayed for the 3 months and never used cocaine again. he hated me when i sent him but now at 24 he thanks me and says i saved his life by sending him there.

its the reformers unanimous womens home....its a christian based program. im sooo nervous but excited. has anyone ever been to rehab? any advice? i hope they take care of me when im in there. when i took my subs and stuff and just detoxed at my house, i was in control and if i didnt feel up to doing anything i could just lay in bed. i dont know maybe this will be good for me.its a 6 month program...and i dont wanna be in there the whole time because ill totally miss out on my summer.

I have almost 4 years of sobriety now, but prior to that I thought I needed to drink when I felt good, felt bad, was stressed from being busy, was bored, was happy, was sad, because it was happy hour, because I missed happy hour yesterday so I can start at breakfast today, and so on.
Has anyone on here been to or known anyone that has been to Haven House Rehab Center in Oxford, MS??? I will be going in a couple of days and just curious if anyone has an opinion on it.
Also, to all the women.... I haven't had a period since jan 19. The only other times I have skipped, I was pregnant but I have taken 2 tests and they were both negative. Can withdrawals from lortab cause you to miss a cycle for 2 months? Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of detox and relapse?
Watching Heidi Fleiss was really sad.. I saw her on celebrity rehab where she retreated to the desert with a bunch of parrots! It was so sad bc you could see how much pain she was in.
Dennis Rodman was like watching a train about to fly off the tracks.. He kinda had the "im not an addict" mentality even while in rehab!
I KNEW Kim Richards was on pills and stuff... You could just tell. She went to rehab and looks like she's doing GREAT now!!

After my husband was out of the inpatient rehab center he was sent to a HealthSouth Out Patient center. They were wonderful. They worked with my husband three days a week (speech, occupational and physical) and he has improved considerably. The outpatient therapy lasted about 2 months and now my husband is basically doing everything himself. Only thing I have to do is remind him to take his pills.
Isn't there some web site you can check this out on or maybe in her union book. There must some information that came with her nursing license, like all the do's and don'ts. Or maybe an 1-800 number you can call anomysley (spelling) and ask these questions.
