When I was pregnant all I wanted to eat was chocolate and it tasted even better than it tastes when on PMS. Anyway I read an article a few months back that CHOCOLATE has some anti-inflamatory agents that actually helps prevent miscarriages. I'm going to find it, but don't binge on chocolate.

Avatar m tn That seems to be a stronger link to calcification (sclerosis) in the arteries than drinking milk. A doctor can test your calcium levels and let you know if they're too high. I personally don't think eating some yogurt each day will do any harm. As for supplements, there are different types of calcium on the market, some work better than others. Ideally we should get our calcium from food.

Avatar f tn Chocolate is actually good for you; opt for the dark chocolate, rather than milk chocolate, which is full of sugar. When you eat a piece of chocolate, sit down and concentrate on it, really savor it... that should satisfy you, so you won't go overboard. Don't lose any weight.

Avatar n tn Some children will accept whole milk if you add chocolate or strawberry flavor mix to it. If that does not work and she likes soy milk, then give her soy milk (has the same amount of calcium as in regular milk). Hoped this helped you.
