Avatar m tn I have had regurgitation since childhood. Was diagnosed with delayed gastric emptying and given Protonix. I have had 2 pyloric dilatations but I still have pain in the upper abdominal and chest areas behind the sternum. The regurgitation is better. GI and cardiology cleared me for any overt issues, but I'm having abdominal and chest pain, nausea and vertigo that starts with a strange wave or flushing in my belly and travels upward.
620877 tn?1282764097 Then I developed severe chest pain. My PCP prescribed Prilosec to take for 28 days thinking it was viral esophagitis. During this time I started having numbness & tingling in my left arm. That with the continued chest pain sent me to the ER. They ran every blood test, checked my heart & said I didn't have a cardiac event and sent me home. I saw a cardiologist for a complete workup & my heart is fine.
Avatar n tn I have also saw doctor to make sure I do not have vertigo. Now doctors are thinking that this chest pain might be related to some muscle injure. Now my question is how much time this kind of injury takes to heal even with help of ice pack and Advil. As I said 3 weeks are already gone. Or should I worry about something else.
Avatar f tn Severe chest pain, heart rate at 130 sitting down doing nothing, dizziness/vertigo, called ambulance and went to different ER. Same thing, ECG normal, chest x-ray normal, bloodwork normal, doctors said it was anxiety and prescribed Valium. Couple weeks pass, still having chest pain on and off, shortness of breath, dizziness/vertigo, fast heart rate, fluttering heart feeling, also developed new symptoms of ear fullness/pressure and ringing in ears.

Avatar n tn Thoughts on the below symptoms I have been experiencing?
Avatar f tn I'm a 46 year old female who started experiencing neck pain and extreme vertigo about 4 months ago. The vertigo is better, but I now have lymph node pain in my ankles, knees, armpits, back of thighs, abdomen and chest. (At least I think it is lymph node pain.) My primary says that it could be neuropathy. Two previous blood tests show nothing unusual. I've had MRIs of my head, neck and spine (still waiting for results from the neurologist).
Avatar n tn Unfortunately, pain related to the heart is not easily differentiated from chest pain or discomfort from respiratory, esophogeal, or the chest's skeletal configuration. Even if the pain does not return tha would not indicate there is no heart problem. The cause could be the heart muscle from viral infection, medication, etc. or it could be a spasm of the coronary artery that temporarily shut off circulation of oxygenated blood, etc. Worst case scenario. You should get an evaluation.

Avatar n tn I have done several tests and they all seem to suggest that I must have strained my hand through the constant setting position when I am on the computer. This chest pain passes through my chest to my back. I also have pain around my eyes (including the back side of my eyes. It sometimes makes me feel bad). I must confess that for the past three months I have not been doing any form of exercise. I will wake up, eat and watch TV.

Avatar n tn Hi, my boyfriend has been feeling dizzy, flushing of the face, light headed, and nauseated for the past 3 months straight (EVERYDAY). Out of nowhere he'll be fine & then boom it hits. He went with his Dr. & had some tests done, such as: complete blood work, renal scan, & x-rays of his chest. Everything came out to be perfect. But, he still continues w/ those symptoms. We think it might be vertigo. Oh & he has no build up of wax, hears perfectly, & no ear pain.

Avatar n tn 4 hours after returning home from the hospital I was rushed back by ambulance for severe vertigo and chest pain. I also had issues with my asthma. I was cleared by the cardiologist and the pulmonologist but the vertigo has persisted. I was in the hospital 10 days. I had another brain CT and MRI which again were normal. I am still suffering with dizziness and vertigo and cannot walk unassisted. I am afraid the two incidences are related but all the doctors say no. I am worried I could have MS..
Avatar n tn Perhaps sinus pressure? Or ear pain? I know when my sinuses get very congested I feel really loopy, same from my ears. I used to suffer vertigo. Make sure your sinuses are clear. Try a saline spray, and for your ears, sit up straight and look forward. Lower your chin slowly to your chest then slowly rock your head from side to side a few times. Its supposed to help with vertigo. Google it. There's lots of info explaining why it happens.
620048 tn?1358018235 My nuerologist told me that my vertigo was most likely a symptom of my MS. From what he told me and things I have read vertigo is a very real possibility with MS. I hope this helps.
