chest pain through to back

I have had chest pain since my ablation and now the pain is extending through my chest to my back. Any ideas on what could be causing this pain? My ablation was 3 months ago and I have had my rhythm under control, but now am experiencing the chest pain.

Lately i have had this a couple of times when i am exerting my self i get a squeezing back pain that travels through my chest. Then i get a stabbing pain on my right side of chest. i suffer from benign pvc's so right now i am freaking out.

Nothing earth shattering, heart is ok, back has some degenerative but I get back pain that seems to come through to the front and experience chest pains. (neck pain as well). This is not something that is recent, this has been going on for years, literally years. Sort of comes and goes but it's pretty persistent. Any thoughts on the matter? I also get shoulder pain on top of the shoulder especially when lifting my arm straight up.

Sometimes the pain starts in my chest and seems to go to my back and at other times it starts in the back and goes to the front. Working makes the pain worse and lasts longer. I take 2 Aleve an it helps a lot. Any suggestions?

so i took that and then at 4am i woke up with a horrible back through chest pain... it wasnt muscular it was just a sharp pain that went from my back through my chest and kind of down to the top of my belly... it was very weird, i know it wasnt contractions cause my belly wasnt getting hard... but i just cant figure out what it is... i am feeling better now but want some input on it in case it happens again... thanks ladies...

am a 54 year old who had rods put in my back at age 35, been doing well but last 10 years lots headackes, shoulder ackes top of back pain right behind my chest. where my rods are at. now when I walk sometimes my left arm hurts and my chest feels strange, not really hurt but strange . I see a cardio dr but she don't seem to worry about it . I have lots nerve problems in top part of my back.

I get a pain in my upper back that spreads around to my chest. Sometimes it lasts about 15 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes. It feels as if I have been stabbed in the back and it comes through my chest. It feels like it comes full circle around my upper body. I have a hard time talking, turn white, clamming and sometimes nauseous. I had every heart test about 3 years ago, but now they are becoming more frequent. What do you think is causing this pain?

Mid back pain when i arch my back and it radiates through to my chest area. I feel it more on the right side. My ribs are also sore when i touch them and my lats are sore as well. What could it be? I'm afraid i have a cancerous tumor or something. It has been going on for 3 months now.

Thanks for the warm welcomes! I had a stressful week last week that I think set off 2 new symptoms and so it was nice to be able to come here and talk. I can talk to my sister about all this, but I am keeping it quiet with everyone else in my life. I don't know what to do about the chest pain. From MRI's I know that I do have mild to moderate cervical spondylosis and I am wondering if that's what is causing it.

i have COPD and have had lung infections at least 4 times in this past year. I quit smoking 4 weeks ago and am feeling better already, but, I still have this pain to my upper back, pain appears to be from deep within. It also hurts in my throat when I take a deep breath or swallow. It is very uncomfortable to lay on my stomach because of this chest pain. It has lasted for almost a week now. What is this?

s similar to indigestion when I was pregnant but I feel the need to have my back cracked this way to heaven but nothing helps.

i just went to the doctor yesterday from sharp upper back pain. the doctor pin pointed it right away, she said that several people had been coming in with it. its pneumonia, and you can have no other symptoms. At certain times the sharp pains will spread through out my whole entire chest, ribs and back preventing me from breathing and even moving. The more I breathe in, the more it hurts. I also feel nauseous all the time. I am really concerned. I can't participate in any sports or anything with out the pain coming. I also have had severe pain in the upper/middle part of my abdomen. Hello! I have been having a dull aching pain in my chest mainly left side, back pain and some occasional arm pain. I do have GERD and had my gallbladder out in 2003. I saw my doc and she thinks its just a flare up of GERDs but has set me up to have a stress echo. I am driving myself nuts wondering is the heart related, am i ignoring signs of a heart condition. My doc doesnt seem so worried but i have small children and cant help but wonder am i taking the right measures promptly.

s in the middle of my body, right under the breastbone or high in the chest, and it cuts through me and upwards to my back. Lately it feels like a blockage, like all the food I've eaten that day sits in one spot, forms into a huge mass and then pushed through a small opening. I've been to my doctor several times & had numerous EKGs, blood work, & x-rays. I've even used a heart monitor for two days twice before.

As of a couple of hours ago, when im lying on my side i keep getting a sharp shooting pain up my left hand side near my heart, but not when i lie on my back. I do have a driving test tomorrow but doesn't seem like it could cause this through stress/worry? Had a ct scan of the head 2 weeks back and haven't had word either, no news is good news? Maybe im just going over the top i dont know :( If its not one thing its another.

also sometimes when i breath heavy or take a deep breath..the pain is anywhere from right below my rib cage to the shoulder blade on my left side back!! Im only 17 and i had went to the dr and i had UTI took all my meds but im still having the problem..I sleep only on my left side so i thought it could be sleeping on it wrong..or just the anxiety that i suffer from..or maybe nerves considering i have been under alot of stress.. I just want answers so i can ease my mindd.

it first started about 2 months ago with chest heaviness and discomfort but no pain. Then it went to chest as well as the heaviness and the discomfort. Went to GPs they said chest infection and antibiotics didn't work and went back had an EKG and chest x ray and blood test . All cam normal expected EKG was abit abnormal so put through to a cardiologist waiting list. But pains has spread to arms back neck as well as breathlessness and breathing difficulties.

hiya guys im 21 years old and i think im suffering the same thing, iv been suffering with panic attacks since i was 15 but recently just tonight, i got a really bad shooting pain in my left chest to right arm and it was terrifying, im also having alot of skipped heartbeats, around 3 months i found out my mother had cancer so i have been going through a lot of stress, can you guys please give me some advice because i darent try go back to sleep
