Hey all. I'm 34 yrs old and I am overweight BMI 40. I have been having chest pain on my left side. It also shoots to my left armpit, side of left breast and I have numbness and tightness down my forearm into my hand. I went to urgent care on Friday and all I got was a high WBC indicating I have an infection somewhere! So I went to the ER and that dr, didn't seem to worried at all. Now it's Sunday and I still have pain tightness and heaviness.

when i got out of bed this morning i had a really bad pain in my right hand side. i tried walking around, bending over and sitting down. i am 32 weeks and i have never had this pain before, it was actually worse then my braxton hicks. the pain was constant and it stayed for around an hour and a half. i have a subseptate uterus so i dont know if it had anything to do with it. if any know's what it could have been or has had it happen to them it would be great to get some advice.

I cut them and half and took one in the morning and one at night for two days. Since then my chest and stomach have had a pulsing feeling of a sharp kind of hot pain. This pulse happens about once every minute or so.

I have an extremely sharp pain on the right side of my chest when getting out of bed. It starts to hurt when I lay on my sides. When I try to roll over, the pain shoots through my right side. And when I try to get up and out of bed, I can only move an inch or two at a time getting up. Once I get on my feet, it goes away after a minute or so. The pain is so bad it feels like being electrocuted.

i have a dull chest pain on right side ..it comes and goes within few seconds.. i also have a lil pain in my breast, and a lil bit breathing problem, and a slide back pain too and have gained 2 kgs in last 1 and half months..i'am a 21 years old...

went to doc today for right side and right back area hurting.. I have hep c 1A and they did urine sample and liver panel with ast and alt... just one was slightly elevated.. Iam really scared.. they think I may have strained my back... in which I didn't tell them I been moving a whole house... but it radiates to the front area.. just worried I guess.. sorry to bother anyone..

The heart burn and acid reflux was back, the stomache pain was almost unbearable. After the Hida scan I had pain in left and right side under my rib cage. Miserable heart burn that nothing helped and extrem nausea to the point that I couldn't eat. I will go see this specialist. But to be honest, I have had enough. If he doesn't give me a resonable answer, I will stick to my diet and enough will be enough! I am tired of docs. and Hosp. tests ect...

I have been having a sharp pain that goes from the back of the right side of my neck down to my chest. Mostly in my chest area. I cant sleep the pain is to bad..also my heart beat is strong and painfull. I dont have medical insurance so i am just wondering if this is serious?

Ive had this niggling pain in my right side half way up the ribs for a few weeks on and off then 9 days ago it was quite severe. I was admitted to hospital where they said it was gallstones, an ultrasound showed nothing. I came home after one night. My chest xray was clear. The camera into my stomach showed gastritis, ( inflammation of the lining of my stomach). Gp thinks its inflammation of the intercostal muscles but it doesn't hurt when i move, when i eat i get severe pain.

Right side pain can sometimes indicate appendicitis. When the doc released the pressure, did you have pain then, called "rebound pain". Are you nauseous? Running a fever? If it continues, I would see another doctor and ask for more tests, one being a white blood count, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Has anyone ever had this or has it now? I was looking at WebMD and with my symptoms I've been having, it kind sounds like that may be what I have. My symptoms are frequent heartburn, feeling a pressure on my chest that makes it hard to breathe, and an acidy taste in my mouth.

Kinda like a burning sensation. Indigestion is more like a sharp pain right between your ribs, and sometimes shoots into your back, and it is usually accompanied by heartburn as well. All I know is indigestion was so painful for me. Tums are my best friend!!

m going through, and went through last night...right down to the old xanax. I had the same pain right at the bottom of my sternum, and also some pain just to the left of that area. Does thinking about the pain make it worse with time? Mine did, and I did the exact same thing you did...it eventually went away because the xanax knocked me out. (best sleep aid in the world I think) If you have gastritis like I do...

So yesterday while at work I got a pain, Sharp kinda stabbing like pain on my right side. After work I noticed it more often. It feels like it is right above my right hip/pelvic bones. It feels like a pulled muscle or something similar. Any ideas on what else it could be? I did use an ice pack in the area last night and it felt better.

what i mean is that the same place it hurts in my right upper side chest it hurts on my right side upper back its like the pain is in same place back and front " i have been getting this pain on and off for abt 4 weeks and recently for 2 days i have a sore throat , burning pain in throat and ears and goes down to stomach but no stomach pain ,swallowing is painfull , what can this be and is this something to go to the doctor abt or do i needto go to the emergency room for this .

I have had pain on the right side of my chest for the past 3 weeks. It came on suddenly and feels like my chest is bruised. It hurts when I inhale, cough, sneeze or move the "wrong" way. I am 51 and have been having intermittent squeezing chest pain on the right side of my chest. it feels like a squeeze and a twist. i have no discomfort on exercise. i do have a history of acid reflux and have had to quit coffee lately because it gives me central chest discomfort. my current pain today is almost constant. i do also have several trigger points on the right side of my chest. i have also recently started doing bench presses in the gym.

I have had intermittant pain in my right side for 25 years, since I was 19. I had my gall bladder checked out 10 years ago and nothing was found. I have had every test for GI and chest (colonoscopy, blood work, GI track, liver biopsy, CT scans, and a liver MRI. All tests were normal except my liver was enlarged and my liver enzymes are high.
