Right side pain can sometimes indicate appendicitis. When the doc released the pressure, did you have pain then, called "rebound pain". Are you nauseous? Running a fever? If it continues, I would see another doctor and ask for more tests, one being a white blood count, it is better to be safe than sorry.
I have an extremely sharp pain on the right side of my chest when getting out of bed. It starts to hurt when I lay on my sides. When I try to roll over, the pain shoots through my right side. And when I try to get up and out of bed, I can only move an inch or two at a time getting up. Once I get on my feet, it goes away after a minute or so. The pain is so bad it feels like being electrocuted.
It is sort of a cramp-like pain underneath my ribcage on the right side. I have had pain in this area for many years while running off and on. (I thought it was side stitches) The problem is that it is getting worse and I can't make it go away anymore. It the past I could just forcefully exhale and hold my breath for a few seconds and the pain would go away. I still get relief from the pain when I exhale forcefully and hold my breath, but then the pain comes right back after that.
went to doc today for right side and right back area hurting.. I have hep c 1A and they did urine sample and liver panel with ast and alt... just one was slightly elevated.. Iam really scared.. they think I may have strained my back... in which I didn't tell them I been moving a whole house... but it radiates to the front area.. just worried I guess.. sorry to bother anyone..
However, I do get pain just in the middle right side of the chest. The pain is such that it pains in the front as well as on the back side at the same point. Usually the pain is releived a little if I try to take out gas from above by pushing abdominal muscles inside. I take raciper when the acidity increases.
Also I feel that I am not able to clear the bowl completely.
Its a very small dull pain, I am also experiencing pain right below my right rib cage, on the upper side of my stomach. It feels as if the lining of the stomach hurts, not sure if that makes any sense but that would be the best way to describe it. It only lasts a few seconds and then it'll go away only to repeat itself a few minutes later. It is not a constant pain, it is not happening 24 hrs a day, it seems to be a few episodes happening throughout the entire day.
I have a fluttering or crackling in the right side of my chest/lung. When it happens I can feel it if I place my hand over it. It doesn't feel like a muscle spasm. It also doesn't matter whether I'm breathing in or out.
Another possible symptom I'm having is a sharp pain in the very middle of my chest when running aggressively. I had kind of been ignoring this, but maybe I shouldn't be.
Ive had this niggling pain in my right side half way up the ribs for a few weeks on and off then 9 days ago it was quite severe. I was admitted to hospital where they said it was gallstones, an ultrasound showed nothing. I came home after one night. My chest xray was clear. The camera into my stomach showed gastritis, ( inflammation of the lining of my stomach). Gp thinks its inflammation of the intercostal muscles but it doesn't hurt when i move, when i eat i get severe pain.

So I was super uncomfortable all day yesterday and I woke up today with this terrible pain in my right side and it's been constant in the same spot all day. I am 19 weeks and I'm sure it's just growing pains but I was curious if anyone else has felt this. The best way I can describe it is it is similar to the feeling of cramps you get in your side while running or something and in about the same spot as that. Is it just my muscles stretching?
Pain is not consistent on RH and LH side. Majorly the pain is in Rh side. I consulted an general physician, he had my blood test and sonography. Sonography was normal and also my blood test are normal. Doctor prescribed me stool softner. I used it but it gave me some pain relief. Then I also tried lime water to enhance stool softening but due to this some other problems such as acidity has increased. Also pain is not completely relieved.
My husband is 32 years old in great shape and has been having chest pain, upper left back pain, lower abdominal and side pain, and shooting pain down his left arm with some numbness. He has been dealing with these symptoms for a while now and keeps going to the doctor and running all these tests and nothing. Yesterday, while he was at work he had to leave and go to the e.r. and of course nothing, they told him to go to his doctor. which is what we have been doing.
The pain is generally focused on my left hand side, however it will occasionally (very rarely) occur on the right hand side. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst pain possible, it would only be about a 3. It does not interfere with my day to day life in any manner--beyond being a source of concern. I find that the pain occurs most often in a non-active state and I rarely feet it when active. I am not an anxious person, neither do I have much stress in my day to day life.
okay, for a while now I have been having a tightness on the left side of my chest that sometimes moves down on to my left arm. I get short of breath and lightheaded sometimes. Sometimes my heart skips a beat or "flip flops". I have been to the doctor several times and the hospital. They said I'm fine.
