I have been having this awful burning sensation in my right breast accompanied with pain in my chest bone also on the right side for about two weeks. I really only feel it when im either laying on my left or right side. I feel like its getting a little worse and is slightly tender to the touch. Im not breast feeding so i dont have any milk coming in anymore. Im just wondering if anyone has ever had this before. Im taking my son to see the dr. Wednesday so im gonna ask him about it.
The classic quality of cardiac pain is squeezing sensation as if an “elephant is on the chest”. The pain also classically radiates to the left side. Then it kind of passed away and had a pain and pressure feeling on the left side of my throat.(Not exactly throat, it was right above my clavicle bone, inside a trachea or esophagus, I don't know). I get the same thing..Mild left chest pain that comes and goes. I've talked to my Dr. about it and was told that it was just anxiety. That was before I wore a holter monitor and they picked up that my heart rate gets up to 210 bpm! So, now I am seeing a cardiologist. just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, then call the Dr. any shortness of breath or palpitations should be reported too.. Always take these symptoms seriously because you never know!
Fast forward a month, I finally get clear chest xrays, but that sharp pain still remained on the right side, under my bottom rib (or two). I've had two CTs and several xrays, and here I am almost 5 months later with no progress. The pain occurs at the bottom of a full breath (or yawn). If I do anything to get out of breath, the pain gets much worse and remains worse even after exercising.
Hi, last May i had a Spontaneous Pneumothorax and had to have a chest tube put in my side. Since then, i have been getting extremely sharp pains on my left side. The pain is right under my left breast and intensifies every time i breath in deeply or exhale too much. If i push on my rib cage, under my breast, the pain is not as severe, but as soon as i stop pushing, it comes back. When my lung collapsed, the started pushing on my heart, so im not sure if that would have anything to do with it.
I have an extremely sharp pain on the right side of my chest when getting out of bed. It starts to hurt when I lay on my sides. When I try to roll over, the pain shoots through my right side. And when I try to get up and out of bed, I can only move an inch or two at a time getting up. Once I get on my feet, it goes away after a minute or so. I'm a 22 year old female. I get neck strain very easily and I have constant discomfort in the left side of my neck every day.
If I attempt basic neck stretching exercises, it doesn't feel right and when I stop it feels stiffer and I get a cold sensation that runs from my neck down my arm.

It is always in the same spot, and it is a gripping, squeezing pain. (Not center chest, but left side mostly.) When the pain starts, it is much worse when I try to inhale. The symptoms vary all the time so am not sure what is causing this altough it is worrying me.
Every once in a while I get a sharp pain in my chest every time I inhale. It hurts a LOT, like I'm being stabbed with a screw driver. I have to breath short breaths, only breathing till it hurts, and each breath can get a little longer then the one before. Like I'm easing into a full breath, then it stops hurting. The onset seems totally random too.

went to doc today for right side and right back area hurting.. I have hep c 1A and they did urine sample and liver panel with ast and alt... just one was slightly elevated.. Iam really scared.. they think I may have strained my back... in which I didn't tell them I been moving a whole house... but it radiates to the front area.. just worried I guess.. sorry to bother anyone..

I'm a 27 year old male (not overweight, healthy), ever since I could remember back in grade school I would get this sudden sharp pain every once in a while. The pain is in the left chest area (heart area). I've always thought of it as occasional heart burn and for the first time in a while I got it again today. Let me describe today's incident as it is pretty similar to all other incidents I can remember.
I have had a sharp pain in my upper left back randomly show up and it hurts no matter what, and the left side of my chest aches when I inhale and exhale. This pain has always occured through out my life very rarely but has become pretty common the last two days. I also have bubbling pains in my left side of my chest when I'm laying down, should I see a doctor ASAP?
