I have had intermittant pain in my right side for 25 years, since I was 19. I had my gall bladder checked out 10 years ago and nothing was found. I coincidently have drank regulary for the same amount of time since I was 19. My liver function tests all come back normal, as I have one done every year, however, the last test a year ago showed a little elevated, in the high 40's. During an ultrasound fatty liver was discovered. I am also overweight.
I have an extremely sharp pain on the right side of my chest when getting out of bed. It starts to hurt when I lay on my sides. When I try to roll over, the pain shoots through my right side. And when I try to get up and out of bed, I can only move an inch or two at a time getting up. Once I get on my feet, it goes away after a minute or so. The pain is so bad it feels like being electrocuted.
Hi...I m 36 year old. From last few days i m feeling chest pain on upper left side.
Before a month, i did my all heart test (like ECG, ECHO, CT engio). ECG was not fine but echo and CT engio was ok. My cholesterol and uric acid was at board line. Please anybody tell me, why i have chest pain when my echo and CT engio test was Ok and what should i do....
The heart burn and acid reflux was back, the stomache pain was almost unbearable. After the Hida scan I had pain in left and right side under my rib cage. Miserable heart burn that nothing helped and extrem nausea to the point that I couldn't eat.
I will go see this specialist. But to be honest, I have had enough. If he doesn't give me a resonable answer, I will stick to my diet and enough will be enough! I am tired of docs. and Hosp. tests ect...
went to doc today for right side and right back area hurting.. I have hep c 1A and they did urine sample and liver panel with ast and alt... just one was slightly elevated.. Iam really scared.. they think I may have strained my back... in which I didn't tell them I been moving a whole house... but it radiates to the front area.. just worried I guess.. sorry to bother anyone..
I have been having chest pain, sometimes dull, sometimes sharp in my right side (to the left of my right breast). Sometimes I feel it in my shoulder and back. I have had an EKG in the past and nothing....I also am the bill of health except for some high cholesterol like a year ago. I have changed my diet and excercised since. I am 5'-4" and 142 pounds. I look about 130 though so a lot of my weight is muscle.
Ive had this niggling pain in my right side half way up the ribs for a few weeks on and off then 9 days ago it was quite severe. I was admitted to hospital where they said it was gallstones, an ultrasound showed nothing. I came home after one night. My chest xray was clear. The camera into my stomach showed gastritis, ( inflammation of the lining of my stomach). Gp thinks its inflammation of the intercostal muscles but it doesn't hurt when i move, when i eat i get severe pain.
Right side pain can sometimes indicate appendicitis. When the doc released the pressure, did you have pain then, called "rebound pain". Are you nauseous? Running a fever? If it continues, I would see another doctor and ask for more tests, one being a white blood count, it is better to be safe than sorry.
Im 15weeks and I've been having a lot of pain on my right side by my hip and leg it comes and goes but mostly when I start walking for about 20min the pain starts, i've tried diffent thing to help make the pain go away but its not working anyone have any ideals?
Right side pain under your ribs can indicate high blood pressure. The pain comes from your liver trying to compensate. I don't know how it works exactly but that's what my doctor said. If you were further along I would say it's just your stomach and uterus pushing into your ribs, but since it's so early in your pregnancy it is likely something else. Good luck!
May any of this be side effects of lavoquin or his chest congestion, which now im questioning if it is a congestion anymore. How can you decipher chest pain from chest congestion vs.
Pain killers actually do NOT take the pain away and its miserable for years now, finally after 2 yrs new symptoms have came into play and it almost seems as if something is just attacking the whole right side of my body?
I also have pain in mine left side of foot and some time the pain in mine foot is high. i also have pain in mine left chest left side of shoulder.
Mine parrents have history of Cardiac problems and have stunt. Several time i went to cardiologist mine ECG, blood pressure, ETT Ecocardiogram and Cardiac Enzyme all fine. Mine Colestrol level is also ok. i walked daily and never feel any problem in walking whether it is halfy an hour or more.
okay hers the question over the last couple of months once in a while I get a sharp pain under my left chest muscle almost on my side, it only last a second or 2. usually I am siting down. It hasnt happen while I have been active. there are no other symptoms . I take my bp right after it happens and its is122/ 82 paulse 83, my doctor says it a typical chest pain and not to worry . well I am worried what do you think.
what i mean is that the same place it hurts in my right upper side chest it hurts on my right side upper back its like the pain is in same place back and front " i have been getting this pain on and off for abt 4 weeks and recently for 2 days i have a sore throat , burning pain in throat and ears and goes down to stomach but no stomach pain ,swallowing is painfull , what can this be and is this something to go to the doctor abt or do i needto go to the emergency room for this .
I have had pain on the right side of my chest for the past 3 weeks. It came on suddenly and feels like my chest is bruised. It hurts when I inhale, cough, sneeze or move the "wrong" way. Today it is really bothering me, I am feeling a lot of pressure and throbbing. Can someone give me a clue as to what this may be? I have a doctor's appt. thurs, maybe I can give my doctor an idea.
I am 51 and have been having intermittent squeezing chest pain on the right side of my chest. it feels like a squeeze and a twist. i have no discomfort on exercise. i do have a history of acid reflux and have had to quit coffee lately because it gives me central chest discomfort. my current pain today is almost constant. i do also have several trigger points on the right side of my chest. i have also recently started doing bench presses in the gym.
For the past 4 months I have had constant pain/discomfort on my right side, under my rib cage somehwere between the bottom of my rib cage up to just below where the breast is, half way from my spine to the end of my right side. The pain seems to migrate from my back to the front slowly from day to day.
The pain started 3 or 4 days after I trimmed my very high hedges. At first I thought that I had pulled something. I waited a good 4-6 weeks before going to my doctor.
Im having the worst chest pain under my breast on the right side of my rib cage. I cant sleep, take any deep breaths, cough, it hurts when I lay down, get up, when I do anything & the pain is getting unbearable. I don't have any high blood pressure, or any iron deficiency. Has anyone experience this before or is going thru this.
