what i mean is that the same place it hurts in my right upper side chest it hurts on my right side upper back its like the pain is in same place back and front " i have been getting this pain on and off for abt 4 weeks and recently for 2 days i have a sore throat , burning pain in throat and ears and goes down to stomach but no stomach pain ,swallowing is painfull , what can this be and is this something to go to the doctor abt or do i needto go to the emergency room for this .
I have an extremely sharp pain on the right side of my chest when getting out of bed. It starts to hurt when I lay on my sides. When I try to roll over, the pain shoots through my right side. And when I try to get up and out of bed, I can only move an inch or two at a time getting up. Once I get on my feet, it goes away after a minute or so. The pain is so bad it feels like being electrocuted.
It also hurts if I lean to my right side when sitting. The pain is relieved if I lean to my right side.
Sometimes I can feel a dull pain in my right hip along with the lower back pain but nothing serious.
I have now had this pain for almost a week and is really starting to get annoying! Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
ok so i have a pain in my back upper left side, and sometimes pain in my chest on the same side. im 22 years old and have no prior health problems.
whenever i lay on my side i feel like a burning sensation and almost a faint kind of feeling. same when i lay on my stomach , right or left sides. i also eperience pain in the back and random pains in the chest.. some times left arm pains..
i dont really have an overall sense of well being and this really freaks me out.
Hello! I have been having a dull aching pain in my chest mainly left side, back pain and some occasional arm pain. I do have GERD and had my gallbladder out in 2003. I saw my doc and she thinks its just a flare up of GERDs but has set me up to have a stress echo. I am driving myself nuts wondering is the heart related, am i ignoring signs of a heart condition. My doc doesnt seem so worried but i have small children and cant help but wonder am i taking the right measures promptly.
Even my back is starting to hurt really bad.
My upper right back is aching for about six years now on and off... i can still work and didn't mind it all but these last few days the pain is getting severe and it goes through my upper right breast. I'm a bit scared. Can anyone help what is this pain?
Right side pain can sometimes indicate appendicitis. When the doc released the pressure, did you have pain then, called "rebound pain". Are you nauseous? Running a fever? If it continues, I would see another doctor and ask for more tests, one being a white blood count, it is better to be safe than sorry.
I am sorry to hear about the increase and change of your pain. We can relate to pain!! Has your upper back pain been diagnosed in the past? It sounds like whatever is causing your back pain may be worsening or progressing.
The back pain could be from a compressed nerve. When this occurs it can radiate into your breast or chest area. It would make sense that this compression has become more severe over the years.

Hi it does sound like you strained something in your back, there is a muscle that wraps around the chest from the back. I have had that pain when I strained a back muscle and it wrapped around to the front.
Saying that do you have more information about your status? i.e. do you know that status of your liver? how damaged is it? Do you have your viral load? how long you may have had HCV? Are you thinking of treating or do you have more time?
I cannot feel a lump there, but I have noticed that when I push on the area that is sore, my back hurts as well, I can feel a twinge of pain in my back. I have been to the doctor, had a chest xray and an abdominal palpation exam and he found no masses or any problems. He suggested it may be muscular in cause and to use a heating pad and ibuprofen. It seems to help off and on, but it's still there. Any thought on what this could be?
re not worried. Referral to cardiologist anyway. New chest pain on right side for a week---like costochondritis, but there's also a lump on my rib. X-ray says no fracture.
-This past weekend (Feb 20, 2022): Pain on my chest gets worse again, lump is now larger, so I reach back out to my doc. I get the weird response of, "Since you had cholecystectomy, symptoms cannot be due to gallbladder, however, will check liver, otherwise may have to contact GI doctor to check pancreas.
For the past 4 months I have had constant pain/discomfort on my right side, under my rib cage somehwere between the bottom of my rib cage up to just below where the breast is, half way from my spine to the end of my right side. The pain seems to migrate from my back to the front slowly from day to day.
The pain started 3 or 4 days after I trimmed my very high hedges. At first I thought that I had pulled something. I waited a good 4-6 weeks before going to my doctor.
